Abstract

This study aims to discover effect of the number of tourists, restaurants, and hotels on original local government revenue in Central Kalimantan. Research data using secondary data from publication of Direktorat Jendral Perimbangan Keuangan. The population is all of districts and town in Central Kalimantan. Author determines sample using purposive sampling technique. There are 11 sample (10 districts and 1 town) in the last 6 years. Data analyzed using multiple regression. The result show: 1) number of tourists has a positive and significant effect on original local government revenue in Central Kalimantan 2) number of restaurants has a positive and significant effect on original local government revenue in Central Kalimantan 3) number of hotels has a positive and significant effect on original local government revenue in Central Kalimantan 4) number of tourists, restaurants, and hotels has a positive and significant effect on original local government revenue in Central Kalimantan.

Abstract

COVID-19 has hit the world and has had a major effect on all activities and sectors of the community's economy in the world. This impact also affects state universities' ability to recruit new students, so it requires a strategy to be able to compete with other universities. This research was conducted to determine the strategy carried out by the Faculty of Economics and Business at the Islamic State University of Palangka Raya to attract new students using descriptive-qualitative methods. Data to support this research is sourced from primary data obtained through interviews with the parties concerned and secondary data obtained from various data and documents. This research refers to the theory of personal selling strategies, which includes four strategy processes, namely: attention stage, interest stage, desire stage, and action stage, based on the results of interviews, observations, and other data collection. The results of this socialization show that the campus in accordance with its strategy of netting new students is applying an excellent process.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, online commerce has become a phenomenon that dominates the business world. One important aspect of the online trade ecosystem is the role of resellers. Online shop resellers have become a vital element that connects producers or product owners with end consumers through digital platforms. Resellers act as intermediaries that bridge the process of product distribution from its source to the hands of consumers. The main issues include marketing competition, unilateral product cancellations by customers, and defective or incorrect items. The research question used by how online shop resellers overcome business competition challenges in the era of digitalization? This research adopts a qualitative approach using field study methods. This research concludes that operating as an online shop reseller involves several risks, and to address these challenges, various improvements can be made in marketing techniques, risk management implementation, and cash flow recording techniques to overcome the ambiguity of profits generated in the online reseller business.
