Abstract

The process of degeneration in the elderly resulting in the quantity of sleep the elderly will be reduced so as not achieved adequate sleep quality. This study aimed to analyze the influence of Benson relaxation and hypnosis to improve the fulfillment of sleep needs and control of elderly blood pressure, with experimental design that is Pretest - Posttest with Control Group. The subjects of the study were elderly at Integrated Service Post (Posyandu) of Elderly who had sleep disorder, selected by simple random sampling technique. Data were collected by using questionnaires. Benson relaxation and hypnosis were performed 2 times a week for 2 weeks. The collected data were analyzed descriptively in the form of mean and standard deviation, then analyzed using Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney test. The results showed that insomnia could be derived by implementing Benson relaxation, hypnosis, hypnosis + relaxation. Based on research results recommended that health care institutions use relaxation techniques and hypnosis as one of the standard operational procedures in overcoming insomnia problems. Abstract

Children under five years of age are very sensitive to environmental influences such as inadequate nutrition, lack of stimulation, and other factors. Several types of health problems can hinder the growth process of children under five, one of which is stunting. This study aims to develop a scorecard model for early detection of stunting risk based on stunting factor analysis in the Surabaya City Health Centre work area. The design of this study is conducted in several phases, including the first phase of analyzing risk factors using a case-control design, and the second phase of compiling a scorecard for early detection of stunting risk with a panel of experts. The sample in this study consisted of several mothers and infants, both with and without stunting risk. The sample size is 175 mothers and children under five years of age. The sampling method used was systematic random sampling. The risk factor data were analyzed using the multinomial logistic regression test, and the scorecard was created based on the OR value. The result of this study is the scorecard able to make early detection of stunting risk with a cut-off value is 3.50. It is mean that using the scorecard has a sensitivity of 80% and specificity of 75% to detect the stunting risk of children. The scorecard can be used to determine whether a child is at low or high risk for stunting. This study implies that the scorecard can be used for early detection of stunting risk by mothers, health cadres, and health workers. It is hoped that by using the scorecard, early identification of the risk of stunting can be addressed immediately and interventions can be implemented according to the recommendations and problems that children are experiencing.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Gizi buruk merupakan gangguan kesehatan akibat tidak seimbangnya pemenuhan kebutuhan akan zat gizi yang diperoleh dari makanan. Pengetahuan ibu menjadi faktor dominan penyebab gangguan gizi. Ibu dengan pengetahuan kurang memiliki kemungkinan tidak memahami pentingnya gizi seimbang bagi pertumbuhan balita. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengetahuan ibu dalam pemberian gizi seimbang pada balita di Desa Sumursongo, Kecamatan Karas, Kabupaten Magetan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel cluster sampling dengan besar sampel 40 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada bulan April 2021 dengan menggunakan instrumen kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan distribusi frekuensi dan persentasi. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan sebagian besar Ibu balita memiliki pengetahuan baik tentang pemberian gizi seimbang pada balita, hampir setengahnya memiliki pengetahuan cukup dan sebagian kecil berpengetahuan kurang. Ibu balita yang berusia 26 – 35 tahun, berpendidikan di atas SLTA dan memiliki pengalaman mengasuh anak memiliki pengetahuan yang lebih baik, dibandungkan ibu yang berpendidikan dibawah SLTA dan tidak memiliki pengalaman mengasuh anak. Ibu balita diharapkan meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang pentingnya pemberian gizi seimbang pada balita dari berbagai sumber informasi dan mengaplikasikan pada balitanya supaya anak balita tumbuh dan kembang secara normal Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan, Ibu balita, Gizi seimbang pada balita ABSTRACT Malnutrition is a health problem caused by an imbalance in fulfilling the need for nutrients obtained from food. Mother's knowledge is the dominant factor causing nutritional disorders. Mothers with less knowledge may not understand the importance of balanced nutrition for the growth of toddlers. The purpose of this study was to determine mother's knowledge in providing balanced nutrition to toddlers in Sumursongo Village, Karas District, Magetan Regency. The type of research used is descriptive research and uses a cluster sampling technique with a sample size of 40 respondents. Data collection was carried out in April 2021 using a questionnaire instrument. Data analysis was performed using frequency and percentage distributions. The results of this study showed that most mothers with toddlers had good knowledge about providing balanced nutrition to toddlers, almost half had sufficient knowledge and a small number had less knowledge. Mothers of toddlers aged 26-35 years, educated above high school and have experience in caring for children have better knowledge, compared to mothers who have an education below high school and have no experience caring for children. Mothers of toddlers are expected to increase their knowledge about the importance of providing balanced nutrition to toddlers from various sources of information and apply it to their toddlers so that toddlers grow and develop normally Keywords: Knowledge, Mother toddler, Balanced nutrition in toddlers

Abstract

Autism has a several disorder such as social interaction, communication, patterns play, activities and interests. How to help increase ability child autism through therapy. Lovaas method or Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is an intensive, structured, later teaching program capable transform A behavior and abilities complex become simple components for increase ability compliance and contact eyes in children. Collaboration between parents and parties school is needed in giving therapy. The aim of this study for analyze influence of educational media in the form of a booklet about Lovaas technique or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) towards enhancement parental knowledge in therapy child autism. Pre- experimental research design with a one group pretest-posttest design approach. Taking sample use total sampling method with a sample of parents who have child autism a total of 30 people. Instrument study about knowledge use questionnaire. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test. Research result showing that there is change from mark pretest and posttest from parents who have child autism. The Wilcoxon test results show P Value of 0.000, there is influence educational media in the form of a booklet about Lovaas technique / applied behavior analysis (ABA) towards enhancement parental knowledge in therapy child autism at SDLB Putra Harapan Bojonegoro. Health education using booklet media is necessary given in a way sustainable to parents with children autism.
