Abstract

Background: According to the Indonesian National Standard number 03-3985-2000, fire is a phenomenon that occurs when a material reaches a critical temperature and reacts chemically with oxygen to produce heat, flames, light, water vapor, carbon monoxide, or other products and effects. Fires are caused by various factors, either due to human factors or technical factors.Objective: This study aims to determine the application of fire management system audits in RS X Regency Y. Method:With a qualitative method through a case study approach.Determination of informants using the snowball method. Data collection was carried out by observation and in-depth interviews which were processed using content analysis, and triangulation of sources and methods was carried out.Result:The results showed that RS X had formed a fire organization by-laws and regulations, fire procedures did not run well when a fire broke out, and during the simulation, there were still technical obstacles when using fire tools.Conclusion:It is hoped that the management of X Regency Y Hospital will pay more attention to planning, training, and providing fire disaster preparedness.

Abstract

Background: To improve safety and health in the work environment, prevention needs to be taken with attention to psychosocial in the workplace. This is because the workplace is a source of psychosocial risk and also an ideal place to deal with these risks in protecting the health and well-being of workers.Objective: This research aims to know the picture of values in the workplace,interpersonal and leadership relationships, work for an organization, and work content in the workplace at the employees of Hotel X Makassar City.Method: The type of research used is quantitative descriptive. Sampling was conducted by the Total Sampling method of 56 respondents.Result: The results of the study found that 19.6% of categories lack values in the workplace, 12.5% of employees have fewer interpersonal and leadership relationships and the organization of work and work content is 12.5% less.Conclusion: The conclusion in this study is that values in the workplace have not been fairly distributed, the lack of social support from colleagues in aspects of interpersonal relationships and leadership, work organization, and worker work content is still lacking in contributing to the organization in the workplace. Therefore, it is expected that the company adjusts between working capacity and workload

Abstract

Background:operator Air Traffic Controller (ATC) or air traffic guide is a job that is responsible for flight safety so that the aircraft can fly safely without any aircraft accidents from departing to arriving at the destination, which is at risk of experiencing work stress.Objective: This study aims to describe the qualitative workload, career development and personal responsibility for the risk of work stress on ATC operators. This type of research is quantitative with a descriptive approach.Methods:The population in this study were all ATC operators at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport Makassar as many as 67 people. Sampling was carried out using themethod Total Sampling of 67 respondents. Measurement of Work Stress using a questionnaire instrument Stress Diagnosis Survey (SDS).Results:The results showed that ATC operators experienced moderate work stress as much as 52.2%, qualitative workload in the medium category by 71.6%, career development in the moderate category as much as 59.7% and personal responsibility in the moderate category by 53.7%.Conclusion:ConclusionQualitative workload, career development, and personal responsibility of ATC operators are all in the medium category, most of them experience moderate work stress, especially the Tower work unit, and the dominant work stress risk factor is qualitative workload.It is recommended thatmanagement should routinely conduct training related to ATC so that operator skills are updated according toneeds ofthethe independent variables are not related to student stress levels.

Abstract

In the Covid-19 pandemic crisis, nurses are professionals in the health sector who have to work and provide nursing services during the Covid-19 pandemic and always interact with patients who are positive for Covid-19 so as to increase the mental workload of nurses. The mental workload of nurses should be within normal limits. This study aims to describe the mental workload of female nurses during the Covid-19 pandemic. The type of research used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The population in the study were all female nurses on duty at Hospital X with a total sample of 22 nurses using purposive sampling technique with inclusion criteria, namely female nurses in charge of handling Covid-19 and the ICU room. The results showed that the mental workload felt by female nurses was in the high category of 17 (77.3%) and very high category of 5 (22.7%). The mental workload of nurses is in the high category and the indicator of the NASA-TLX method is the most dominant on the mental workload of nurses in Hospital X, namely the time requirement indicator of 21.75%. Suggestions in this study are for nurses to manage their time as housewives and workloads and provide the best care during the Covid-19 pandemic.
