Abstract

ABSTRACT: Nowadays, narcotics has been a critical problem in Indonesia. It is proven by the vast number of drug abuse cases handled by the National Narcotics Board (BNN). Drug abuse is a great threat, for it brings so much detriment for the abusers both physically and psychologically. Preventing attempt is a must to hinder people from drug abuse. One of the attempts is to build a free-drugs generation through ketoprak. Ketoprak is a traditional Javanese theatrical performing art with setting that usually depicts the ancestral lives and with gamelan and tembang as the background music. The deep traditionality of ketoprak does not make it rigid. The performance can be presented based on the actual events instead, so the moral values can affect the modern people stronger. The appealing performance of ketoprak can also be an effective medium of socialization about drug-abusing detriment rather than the conventional ones.Keywords: narcotics, narcotics-free generation, ketoprakABSTRAK: Dewasa ini, peredaran narkoba di Indonesia sudah berada pada level bahaya. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari beberapa kasus penyalahgunaan narkoba yang berhasil diungkap oleh Badan Narkotika Nasional (BNN). Penggunaan narkoba di kalangan masyarakat sangat meresahkan. Narkoba banyak memberi dampak negatif bagi penggunanya, baik fisik maupun psikis. Perlu adanya langkah pencegahan agar masyarakat terhindar dari bahaya narkoba. Salah satu upaya pencegahan yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan pembentukan generasi muda antinarkoba melalui pertunjukan seni ketoprak. Ketoprak adalah salah satu hasil kebudayaanJawa yang disajikan dalam bentuk pertunjukan sandiwara tradisional. Latar yang diambil dalam pertunjukan ketoprak acapkali menggambarkan kehidupan masyarakat pada jaman dahulu dengan iringan irama gamelan dan tembang. Meskipun terkesan tradisional, pertunjukan ketoprak tidak bersifat kaku. Pertunjukan yang disajikan dapat dikaitkan dengan kejadian-kejadian aktual sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan pembelajaran bagi masyarakat modern. Pertunjukan ketoprak dikemas dengan setting yang sangat menarik sehingga lebih efektif digunakan sebagai sarana penyuluhan dibandingkan dengan cara konvensional.Kata kunci: narkoba, generasi antinarkoba, ketoprak.

Abstract

This research provided the account of describing the kinds of deixis time found in thepuppet show purwa gagrag Banyumasan: Bawor dadi Ratu by puppeteer Ki SuginoSiswacarita. The source of the research data was the VCD recording of a puppet showpurwa gagrag Banyumas: Bawor dadi Ratu by puppeteer Ki Sugino Siswacarita. Thefocus of the research was the kinds of time deixis found in the puppet show. Then, thedata collection techniques were by listening, tapping, and noting. The analysis of thedata was classifying and analysing the data based on the kinds of time deixis. To get thetrustworthiness of the data, the triangulation of source was fulfilled. The dependabilityof the data was obtained through repeatedly rotating and listening to the utterancesin a puppet show. The findings revealed that the found time deixis was in the form ofwords (monomorphemic and polymorphemic) and phrases (attributive and appositiveendocentric, as well as exocentric). Finally, the time deixis found in a puppet show purwagagrag Banyumasan: Bawor dadi Ratu by puppeteer Ki Sugino Siswacarita, were (1) thepast time deixis, (2) the present time deixis, and (3) the future time deixis.

Abstract

Waste is one of the problems that has yet to be fully addressed. Lack of understanding about the importance of waste segregation and processing, as well as limited management facilities, especially for plastic waste, makes the people of Dukuh Mantren tend to process waste in an inappropriate way. Therefore, education about waste management is needed. The purpose of this work program is to find out the condition of integrated waste management in the community and what factors support and hinder integrated waste management in the Dukuh Mantren community. The data obtained is then used for alternative strategies that can be used in integrated waste management in the Dukuh Mantren community. This education program is carried out through socialization, observation, and interview methods. The results of the Waste Management and Ecobrick Socialization Program carried out by KKN Tematik UNS proved effective in overcoming waste problems in Dukuh Mantren, Klodran Village. The program succeeded in increasing the community's understanding of the types of waste and how to process them properly. This research confirms that the Waste Management and Ecobricking Socialization program has a positive impact on overcoming the waste problem in Dukuh Mantren, Klodran Village.
