Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the positive influence of Pair Checks Learning Model on students' cognitive. This research applied True Experimental Design method with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The data analysis technique with quantitative technique by using t-test. The results of this research indicated that there were differences in the gains of students' learning was a significant increase on students' learning outcomes of students with the highest and moderate scores, while the low scores decreased. The results of data analysis concluded that Pair Checks Learning Model has a positive influence on students' cognitive learning outcomes in History subject of students. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh yang positif Model Pembelajaran Pair Checks terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode True Experimental Design dengan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Teknik analisis data kuantitatif dengan menggunakan uji t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen perolehan hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan, sedangkan kelompok konrol tidak mengalami peningkatan. Hasil analisis data Model Pembelajaran Pair Checks berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Sejarah.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, model pembelajaran pair checks, pengaruh
