Abstract

Pemerintahan Jawa Barat dalam cakupan wilayah Indonesia pada tahun 2010 penduduknya mencapai 2.359.431 Jiwa, dari jumlah penduduk Indonesia yang terdiri dari 244.215.984 Jiwa, dengan penduduk miskin mencapai 9,89 %. Slogan yang senantiasa dibangun yakni mewujudkan sosok insan Jawa Barat yang agamis dengan 7 (tujuh) penciri utama yakni : (1) Sehat, cerdas dan cermat, (2) Produktif dan berdaya saing tinggi, (3) Mandiri dan pandai mengatur diri, (4)  Berdaya tahan tinggi dalam persaingan, (5) Pandai membangun jejaring dan persahabatan global, (6) Berintegritas tinggi dan (7) Bermartabat.Beberapa kebijakan pemerintah Jawa Barat berupaya mengembangkan visi-misinya dengan melakukan peningkatan Perguruan Tinggi di Jawa Barat di antaranya melakukan peningkatan Perguruan Tinggi dari 15% (2012) menjadi 25% pada tahun 2018, Pe-negeri-an beberapa Perguruan Tinggi Swasta berbasis 4 (empat) kewilayahan dan sebaran penduduk, adanya dukungan pengembangan fasilitas kampus dan perpustakaan, adanya dukungan peningkatan kualitas penelitian dosen, adanya dukungan peningkatan pendidikan dosen, Beasiswa untuk mahasiswa jenjang diploma, S1, S2, dan S3, Beasiswa atau biaya bantuan mahasiswa terhadap program-program yang relevan untuk masyarakat, program riset kreatif (creative research) sedangkan untuk solusi terobosan pembangunan : SDM, Agama, Kesehatan, Tenaga Kerja, Energi, Lingkungan, Infrastruktur, Wisata dan Budaya.Artikel ini memfokuskan diri pada bagaimana wilayah kota Bandung dalam mewujudkan cita-cita yang diimpikan oleh pemerintah Jawa Barat yakni mewujudkan masyarakat yang agamis dengan tujuh syarat tersebut. Terkait dengan kehidupan keberagamaan, kebijakan-kebijakan syariat, di mana hukum Islam pascareformasi tidak bisa dilepaskan dari fenomena kebijakan-kebijakan bernuansa syariat diberbagai tempat di tanah air, termasuk di wilayah kota Bandung.Kata Kunci : Good Governance, Syariatisasi Pendidikan, Bandung

Abstract

This study seeks to elucidate two facets. Firstly, the presence of the pro-environment movement at the UPT Jatian Waste Laboratory of Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah Lubangsa. Secondly, the ramifications of the pro-environment movement at the UPT Jatian Waste Laboratory on the emotional regulation of santri at Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah Lubangsa. This study aims to ascertain the influence of the pro-environment movement on the emotional regulation of santri. To achieve this objective, the researcher employs a case study methodology, integrating two theoretical frameworks: Pro-Environmental Behaviour Theory, which emphasizes actions directed towards environmental conservation, and Emotional Intelligence Theory, which assesses the effects of the pro-environment movement. The study finds that the pro-environment movement serves as an alternative for establishing environmentally conscious pesantren and aims to enhance santri consciousness regarding the significance of environmental stewardship. Numerous procedures in environmental conservation encompass Reduction, Reuse, and Recycling. As a result, santri recognizes the need for environmental preservation. The execution of this maneuver entails many facilitating and obstructive elements. Detrimental factors encompass opposition from santri who have not embraced the pro-environment movement, whereas beneficial factors consist of santri who have accepted it and possess the ability to regulate their emotions, thereby enhancing their creativity and eagerness to engage in pro-environment initiatives.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need to understand the role of multicultural education in improving tolerance and understanding among cultures in Indonesia, known for its diversity. Although it has been implemented in national education policies, the implementation of multicultural education on the ground still faces various challenges, such as limited resources and lack of teacher training. The purpose of this research is to identify the factors affecting the effectiveness of multicultural education and uncover how it can be more optimally applied in Indonesian schools. The methodology used in this research is a qualitative approach with a case study design, where data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentary studies related to multicultural education. The research findings show that, while multicultural education has great potential to improve tolerance and cultural understanding, its implementation is still limited and not optimal in many schools. Several factors influencing this implementation include insufficient teacher training, lack of adequate resources, and policies that are not fully supportive. This research contributes significantly to the development of policies and strategies to improve the quality of multicultural education in Indonesia, by considering local needs and providing sufficient training for teachers

Abstract

This study explores spirituality and mysticism in Islamic Sufism by examining the thoughts of two prominent figures, Ibn Arabi and Al-Hallaj. Both are known for their major contributions to the Sufi tradition, yet they present distinct approaches in understanding the relationship between humans and God. The study arises from the limited number of comparative analyses concerning the spiritual and mystical perspectives of these two thinkers. The aim is to identify similarities and differences in their mystical concepts and to reveal the richness of spiritual expression within Sufism. This research employs a qualitative library method, analyzing primary works such as Ibn Arabi’s al-Futūḥāt al-Makkiyya and Fuṣūṣ al-Ḥikam, and Al-Hallaj’s Ṭawāsīn, along with supporting secondary literature. Data collection was conducted through documentation, involving classification and interpretation of both primary and secondary sources. Data were analyzed using content and hermeneutical approaches to interpret textual meanings in their historical, philosophical, and spiritual contexts. The findings show that Ibn Arabi emphasizes a metaphysical and rational dimension through the concept of Wahdat Al-Wujūd, while Al-Hallaj focuses on ecstatic experience and divine love. Both perspectives enrich the understanding of spirituality in Islam, demonstrating the diversity of expressions in seeking closeness to God. This study contributes to Sufi scholarship by deepening appreciation of the plurality of spiritual paths and the interrelation between metaphysical thought and inner experience.
