Abstract

This study aims to develop three-dimensional concrete media in science learning class V and to determine the feasibility of the Magic Box Sikla media product (Water cycle) using the Borg and Gall model of research and development (R&D) modified by Sugiyono. In order to help overcome the problems found in the classroom in learning science in elementary school. The developed product can be known for its serviceability through media validation, material validation and product testing. The subjects in this study were fifth grade students of SDIT Hudzaifah Ibnu Yaman. The data collection instrument used in this study was a Likert scale questionnaire with quantitative descriptive data analysis and percentages. The results of this study are in the form of three-dimensional concrete media, namely Magic Box Sikla (Water Cycle) in science learning grade V. The results of the feasibility test of Magic Box Sikla (Water Cycle) learning media according to material experts obtained a final score of 93.63% with a very feasible category. According to media experts, it obtained a final score of 93% with a very decent category, then in a limited trial it got a score of 84.94% with a very decent category, so it can be concluded that the Magic Box Sikla (water cycle) media is suitable for use as a medium in science learning.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN Kemakmuran II in mathematics, specifically on the topic of data presentation, through the use of dice as a learning medium. Based on preliminary observations, it was found that students' understanding of data presentation concepts was still low, as indicated by learning outcomes that had not yet met the minimum mastery criteria. This study employed a Classroom Action Research approach, conducted over two cycles. The results showed that the use of dice media effectively improved student learning outcomes, as evidenced by an increase in the average student score from 72 in the first cycle to 84 in the second cycle, and an increase in the percentage of learning mastery from 67.86% to 85.70%. The use of dice media was able to create an enjoyable learning atmosphere and enhance student participation in the learning process.

Abstract

Cognitive learning outcomes are measurable and observable changes resulting from learning experiences that align with instructional objectives. Based on IPAS (Integrated Science) test scores, 83% of students scored below the minimum passing grade (KKM). This research aimed to enhance the cognitive learning outcomes in IPAS for sixth-grade students at SDN Kemakmuran 2 Cirebon through instructional media. The medium employed was a scrap pop book (Scrap Book and Pop Up), which contains visually presented content. The subjects were 30 sixth- grade students. This classroom action research utilized the Kemmis and McTaggart model. Testing techniques were used to determine the improvement in learning outcomes. In the first cycle, the average learning outcome was 66.6, categorized as 'satisfactory.' This result improved in the second cycle to 82.6, categorized as 'good.' Therefore, it can be concluded that the scrap pop book media effectively enhances students' learning outcomes in the topic of 'Independence and Surrounding
