Abstract

Background: Low back pain results in decreased activity in daily activities. The tapping method is an active therapy that uses tension in the muscles to maintain a position to reduce pain and disability and increase spinal mobility. Taping is a rehabilitative technique used to facilitate the body's natural healing process while providing support and stabilization to muscles and joints without limiting the range of motion of the joints. Objective: To determine the effect of tapping and taping on reducing the degree of pain in low back pain. Methods: This research is a pre-experimental type with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The data used are age and degree of pain. Results: From the study results, the average degree of pain before the intervention was 5.10, and the value after the taping intervention was 4.03. Wilcoxon test results showed the value of P = 0.008 (p < 0.05). And for the provision of tapping, the average degree of pain before was 4.93 and after 2.67 with p = 0.0001 (p <0.05). Conclusion: It is concluded that taping decreases the degree of pain in low back pain. Suggestion: The results of this study can be used as a reference for reducing the degree of pain in low back pain.

Abstract

Background: LBP is pain in the lower back due to stress/ strain of the back muscles, tendons, andligaments which are usually felt after doing excessive activities, such as sitting/standing for a longtime, and lifting weights in the wrong position. Nurses are health workers who have a high risk ofdeveloping LBP based on preliminary research which found that 80% of the 20 nurses in the roomwere caused by work activities. Research method Quasi-experimental pre-test and posttest control group design, with a total sample of 19 respondents in each group with a total of 38respondents. The normality test using the SaphiroWilk Test was followed by a Parametric Paired Tteston data that were normally distributed in each group. The results an increase in functionalactivity with a mean difference of 13.68% in the treatment group and an average of 4.74% in thecontrol group. Conclusions there are differences significant effectiveness in the treatment groupwith the results of the Mann-Whitney Test of 0.000 (p<0.05) on increasing functional activity innurses with Myogenic LBP in the treatment room of Mitra Keluarga Cibubur Hospital.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: The explosive power of leg muscle is the ability to exert maximum power in the shortest possible time. Muscle explosive power is important for a fighter in locking, swinging, dropping, punching, kicking and avoiding attacks from unexpected angles and directions. Ways to increase muscle explosive power include plyometric training and one of them is single leg speed hops. Research Objectives: To determine the effect of single leg speed hop pliometric exercises on increasing the explosive power of limb muscles in pesilat members at SMPN 1 Parung. Research Methods: The design of this study was quasi-experimental with "two-group pretest-posttest" with a sample of 28 people selected by purposive sampling divided into two groups, namely the treatment and control groups. Measurement of leg muscle explosive power using the Standing Long Jump Test. Results: The results of the independent t-test obtained a p-value of 0.011 (p<0.005), so Ho is rejected, which means that there is a significant effect on single leg speed hop plyometric exercises. Conclusion: There is an effect of single leg speed hop plyometric exercise on increasing the explosive power of the leg muscles of the members of SMPN 1 Parung. Keywords: The Explosive power leg muscle; Plyometric Exercises; Single Leg Speed Hop; Martial arts

ABSTRACT Background: CKD patients have nervous and muscular system disorders that affect sleep quality. The quality of sleep is influenced by many factors, one of which is physical activity. Active physical activity is known to improve sleep quality. Purpose: to determine the relationship between physical activity and the sleep quality of CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis at Haji Hospital Jakarta in 2022. Method: The research design used was cross-sectional with a total of 96 respondents selected by purposive sampling. The independent variable of physical activity was measured with the GPAQ while the sleep quality as dependent variable with the PSQI. Results: Respondents with active physical activity at 47.9% and respondents with good sleep quality at 33.3%. The distribution of respondents who had active physical activity with good sleep quality was 43.5% while those who were inactive had good sleep quality at 24.0%. The statistical test yielded a p-value (α=95%) of 0.043 and an Odd Rasio value of 2.4. Conclusion: Physical activity has a significant relationship with the sleep quality of CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis. CKD patients whose physical activity is active are 2.4 times more likely to have better sleep quality than inactivity. Keywords: Physical Activity; Sleep Quality; CKD; Hemodialysis.

Determination of the sample using the Lameshow formula and obtained 14 samples were selected based on the inclusion criteria. Upper extremity functional measurements were performed using the Chedoke Arm and Hand Activity Inventory (CAHAI) on baseline and final data after the intervention 2 times a day during the 5-day hospitalization phase. Results: Paired T-Test test on quality of life before and after the intervention obtained a value of P = 0.000 (p<0.05). Conclusion: There is an effect of early mobilization with a motor relearning program on improving the quality of life of acute stroke patients at NBC Hospital

Physical fitness is a condition that must be maintained by someone who wants health. With excellent health, you can carry out work activities to earn a living. The benefit of this community service is doing aerobic exercise, especially for body fitness, and measuring body fitness levels. Indicators of body fitness are normal blood pressure and pulse. In this community service activity, aerobic exercise, blood pressure, and pulse measurements were carried out. Almost all residents attended the aerobic exercise activities, while the measurement of blood pressure and pulse was based on a sampling technique using purposive sampling. This sampling technique is based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The statistical analysis used is descriptive, that is, it only looks at the description of the condition of blood pressure and pulse before and after aerobic exercise. These results show that after aerobic exercise, blood pressure and pulse measurements were more stable than before exercise.
