Abstract

With the projection of the world population reaching 9.6 billion by 2050, the challenge of increasing foodproductionbecomes crucial. The lack of agricultural production growth can pose a threat of food crisis with wide-rangingimpactsoneconomic and social stability. The Indonesian government has responded by enacting Food Law Draft No. 18 of 2012, withthree main paradigms: Food Sovereignty, Food Self-Sufficiency, and Food Security. However, other challenges arise, suchas workforce regeneration in agriculture and reduction of agricultural land. Zero Waste Integrated FarmingSystem(ZWIFS), which integrates agriculture, fisheries, and livestock farming, offers a solution that can address all of thesechallenges. This system focuses on the harmony between natural resources, human resources, and the environment, withazero waste system approach. In the ZWIFS, elements such as aquaponic vegetable plants, chicken coops, maggotcultivation, and fish ponds interact synergistically. However, the management and maintenance of these various elementsrequire efficient monitoring and automation systems. This research aims to design and develop monitoring andautomationsystems in ZWIFS. This system includes real-time monitoring of air temperature, air humidity, water temperature, waterlevel, water pH, and water TDS. In addition, the automation system includes scheduled feeding, pumpandaeratorregulation, and automatic water sampling. The integration of this technology is expected to create an efficient, sustainable,and waste-free ZWIFS, providing positive impacts both economically and environmentally. Abstract

Every medical procedure, includes the installation of an infusion, must face with the risks and side effects that can harm health. Misinfusion error often occur because infusion runs out prematurely, although they have been calculated according to the standard of individual fluid requirements. The main risk of improper disinfection is air embolism. In response to potential errors, an infusion monitoring device with a protection mechanism that detects run out of the infusion bag and the number of drops perminute is designed. To solve this problem, an infusion monitoring device with features capable of providing notification connected to the IoT system when droplets do not match, provides an estimate of the infusion time to run out, and provides a real-time estimate of infusion droplets when the roller clamp is rotated. When this condition occurs, the system helps prevent blood from rising into the infusion hose, acting as a protective measure to avoid entering the air into the blood vessels. This study was conducted by conducting a test on the drip sensor used by using calculations according to the applicable conditions of intravenous administration. The results of this study include accuracy of intravenous drip detection sensors (photodiodes) above 96% in actual conditions, with sensors working more accurately in dark environments. The infusion volume reading using a load cell sensor has a high accuracy of 99%, Information related to infusion volume, number of drops/minutes, estimated time of infusion, and notification of infusion warnings can also be accessed properly. Abstract

The availability of safe, clean water is a global priority, especially with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030.However, data indicates that Indonesia still faces obstacles in meeting these goals, with most households experiencing limitedaccess to quality drinking water. This is an urgency because poor water quality can cause serious illnesses such as diarrhea which contributes to a high number of deaths each year, so assessing water quality is crucial, considering criteria such as pH, TDS, bacteria, and other physical factors. Therefore, monitoring and managing the Home Reverse Osmosis Dispenser system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) is an effective solution in monitoring water quality in real-time. The system monitors pH, TDS, temperature, and water level, with automatic controls to ensure water safety. Integration with UV water sterilizers aims to improve water quality by killing pathogenic microorganisms. Test results show the effectiveness of the system in generating accurate data, with low measurement differences between sensor readings and digital standardized comparison tools. The measurement accuracy rate for the pH sensor is 97.81%, for the TDS sensor is 96.76%, the temperature sensor is 98.9%, and the water level sensor 98.9%. The performance of each sensor produces the measurement value of each parameter very well. The addition of the water flow speed measurement feature and the calculation of the amount of water usage using the flow sensor also showed a high level of accuracy, namely 98.83% for measuring the speed of water flow and 97.69% for calculating the amount of water usage. Therefore, this system is expected to be an appropriate solution in increasing the availability of safe drinking water in urban areas in Indonesia in accordance with the SDGs. Abstract

Crime has become a problem that will always be a threat to the sustainability of human life. Some examples of crimes that often occur are crimes that involve physical contact between the perpetrator and the victim, such as: kidnapping, robbery, extortion, harassment, and rape. Based on the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, data on violence reported until October 2023 contained 23,397 cases, of which 88% of the victims were women and 38.3% were still students. Therefore, a personal protective equipment is needed for victims of these crimes. This study aims to design a stun gun prototype that can send warning messages. The high-voltage generator module is used to produce high-voltage electrical penetration, the GPS module as a receiver module in obtaining location data, the Ngarduino.com platform as a third party in sending messages, and the ESP8266 microcontroller as a data processor and initiator for sending messages. The test results show that the high voltage generator module can produce a voltage of 13.07 kV and a current of 0.53 mA, the GPS module is able to obtain location data in under 3 minutes, the average measurement error is 7.48 meters, the average precision is 1.73 meters and the accuracy is 95.25%, and the prototype successfully sends warning messages and location addresses via the Ngarduino.com platform with a delay of 5 seconds until the message arrives. Overall, this study has succeeded in designing a stun-gun prototype tool that can send warning messages via the WhatsApp application. Keywords— Stun-gun, High Voltage, GPS, Message Sending.

Abstract

Energy is a basic necessity for society in any country, including Indonesia. The rapid population growth in Indonesia has led to an increase in energy usage across various sectors such as agriculture, education, healthcare, transportation, and the economy. The reliance on non-renewable energy is becoming increasingly concerning, necessitating the utilization of renewable energy sources. One of the solutions that can be adopted is the Solar Power Plant or Solar Home System (SHS). This study designs an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) for switching between two power sources, PLN and Grid Tie Inverter (GTI), and designs a circuit to enablethe GTI to operate without being connected to the PLN grid. The SHS circuit using a GTI consists of an ATS and a trigger inverter or low-frequency inverter. The ATS uses two DPDT relays with a current capacity of 10A controlled by an Arduino Nano, equipped with a voltage detector, a zero crossing detector, and current and voltage modules. The low-frequency inverter uses a MOSFET switching circuit, a step-up transformer, and a voltage feedback circuit. The results of the study show that when the trigger inverter is active, the GTI is also active, indicated by a green light on the GTI. The switch from PLN to GTI occurs without delay andwithout waveform differences in the load, although there is a slight, insignificant voltage drop with a time interval of 61ms. This study successfully demonstrates that the ATS and GTI system can function as designed to support the availability of renewable energy in Indonesia. Keywords: SHS, Solar power plant, ATS, GTI.

Abstract

According to data from Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana, there have been 325 tornado and strong wind disasters throughout 2023. These disasters resulted in 1 death, 6 injuries, 734 people affected, and 80 people displaced. Additionally, 2,263 houses and 45 public facilities were damaged. Therefore, it is important to develop an early warning system to minimize the impact of these disasters. This study aims to design a system that can monitor wind speed and direction based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The wind speed and direction sensors were designed using hall effect sensors with a wind direction sensor resolution of up to 11.25°, a solar power system (PLTS) as the system's power supply, LoRa modules as communication modules, ESP8266 and ESP32 microcontrollers for data processing, Google Spreadsheet for data storage and display to users, and a buzzer to provide hazard warning statuses. The test results show that the wind speed sensor transmitter 1 has averageerror of 1,30%, and transmitter 2 has average error of 1,93%. The wind direction sensors for both transmitter 1 and 2 have a reading range of 10° at 0°, 45°, 90°, 135°, 180°, 225°, 270°, and 315°, while other directions have a reading range of 5°. The effective range between the LoRa transmitter and receiver is less than or equal to 400 meters. The minimum internet data package required to run the device for one month is 1.89 GB. The data was successfully displayed through a website interface using the Google Spreadsheet platform, and the system successfully provided warning and alarm statuses when the wind speed exceeded the specified limit. Abstract

The significant growth of the fitness center industry in recent years reflects a change in lifestyle where people are increasingly concerned about health and fitness. Although modern fitness centers offer a variety of exercise programs and complete facilities, they face major challenges related to low service quality. The main issues include ineffective management, poor service, and inadequate security for members' valuables. Proposed solutions to address these problems include the development of a membership information service system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and WhatsApp chatbots. IoT technology allows real-time monitoring of visitor numbers, while RFID enhances locker security. WhatsApp chatbots provide real-time information about visitor density and membership status. Test results show that Google Spreadsheets can be used as an adequate alternative database, and the ESP32 microcontroller meets the system's functionality needs. The implementation of this technology is expected to automate several tasks in fitness centers, reduce the need for human resources, and improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Thus, fitness centers can make a positive contribution to public health. Abstract

Invasive methods used in glucometers, which require blood samples through needle pricks, often cause discomfort, making many patients reluctant to monitor their blood glucose regularly. This study developed non-invasive blood glucose monitoring technology using the MAX30102 sensor, which employs the photoplethysmography method with a near-infrared wavelength of 880 nm. Blood glucose levels were estimated based on the range in maximum and minimum infrared intensity values (RMM Amplitude), processed using a linear regression equation derived from a dataset of 20 respondents. Testing was conducted by comparing the prototype results with the EasyTouch glucometer, standardized by the Indonesian Ministry of Health. The results showed a positive correlation between RMM Amplitude and glucometer readings, with the device achieving an accuracy of 88,7% for blood glucose levels below 120 mg/dL. The supporting application successfully displayed data in graphical form, provided notifications, and offered recommendations when blood glucose levels were outside the normal range. Abstract

Guna mengetahui kekuasan kehakiman yang dilakukan oleh lembaga peradilan dibawahnya sesuai dengan amanat undang-undang. Makauntuk mengetahui dinamika dan efektvitas penerapan UU a quo, penting untuk mengkaji putusan-putusan dalam peradilan tata usahanegara. Selain sebagai refleksi normatif, juga dapat menjadi semacam preseden dalam hal praktik di peradilan. Salah satu putusan yangmenarik untuk dikaji adalah Putusan Peninjauan Kembali MA No. 99 PK/TUN/2016 terhadap izin lingkungan kegiatan penambangan danpembangunan pabrik semen oleh PT Semen Indonesia di Rembang, Jawa Tengah. Kepentingan hukum para Penggugat (legal standing)pada in casu a quo dapat dimengerti dengan mengacu dalam Pasal 65 ayat (1) Undang-Undang Nomor 32 Tahun 2009 bahwa setiap orang berhak atas lingkungan hidup yang baik dan sehat sebagai bagian dari hak asasi manusia. Selain itu juga, Pasal 92 ayat (1) Undang-Undang Nomor 32 Tahun 2009, organisasi lingkungan hidup berhak mengajukan gugatan untuk kepentingan pelestarian lingkungan hidup dengan syarat (i) berbentuk badan hukum, (ii) menegaskan di dalam anggaran dasarnya bahwa organisasi tersebut didirikan untuk kepentingan pelestarian fungsi lingkungan hidup, dan (iii) telah melaksanakan kegiatan nyata sesuai dengan anggaran dasarnya paling singkat dua tahun.

Abstract

Pada era modern, speaker menjadi perangkat umum dalam berbagai kegiatan seperti presentasi, seminar, prosespembelajaran, hingga kegiatan luar ruangan. Namun, kebisingan lingkungan yang dinamis sering kali mengganggu kejelasan suarayang dihasilkan speaker. Penelitian ini merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem pengatur volume speaker otomatis berdasarkantingkat kebisingan lingkungan sekitar. Sistem menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32 sebagai pusat pemrosesan, MicrophonePreamplifier MAX9814 sebagai pendeteksi kebisingan, serta potensiometer digital X9C103S untuk mengatur volume speakersecaraotomatis. Data kebisingan diukur dalam satuan desibel (dB) dan ditampilkan pada LCD, serta dilengkapi MP3 player sebagaiperingatan jika kebisingan melewati ambang batas. Selain itu, terdapat relay sebagai saklar elektrik untuk mengatur nyala matinyadua komponen yaitu MAX9814 dan microphone. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sistem mampu menyesuaikan volume speakersecararesponsif dan efektif terhadap perubahan kebisingan lingkungan, sehingga meningkatkan kualitas penyampaian suara dankenyamanan pendengar. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat diterapkan pada berbagai situasi seperti ruang kelas, atau tempat publik lainnyayang memerlukan pengaturan volume otomatis.Kata Kunci: Volume speaker otomatis, Kebisingan lingkungan, Potensiometer Digital
