<![CDATA[ABSTRACTThe Merlawu tradition in Kertabumi Village is a tradition that is carried out as an expression of gratitude to Allah SWT for having been bestowed with sustenance and as a form of friendship between fellow humans and praying for the departed ancestors. This traditional activity is carried out every year by the people of Kertabumi Village before entering the holy month of Ramadan which is attended by local government officials and the surrounding community or from people outside Kertabumi Village. The research method used is an ethnographic research method with stages of data source types (primary data and secondary data), data collection techniques (observation, interviews, and documentation), and data analysis methods. The Merlawu tradition contains local wisdom values such as religious values, cooperation values, artistic values, historical values, and economic values.Keywords: Value of Local Wisdom and Merlawu TraditionABSTRAKTradisi Merlawu di Desa Kertabumi merupakan tradisi yang dilakukan sebagai ucapan rasa syukur terhadap Allah SWT karena telah dilimpahruahkan rezeki dan sebagai bentuk silaturahmi antar sesama manusia serta mendoakan para leluhur yang telah meninggal. Kegitan tradisi ini dilakukan setiap tahun oleh masyarakat Desa Kertabumi sebelum memasuki bulan suci ramadhan yang dihadiri oleh aparat pemerintah setempat serta masyarakat sekitar ataupun dari masyarakat luar Desa Kertabumi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian etnography dengan tahapan jenis sumber data (data primer dan data sekunder), teknik pengumpulan data (observasi, interview, dan dokumentsi), dan metode analisis data.
