Abstract

As an Integrated system, ERP is a corporate information system designed to open all the resources, information and activities needed for complete business processes, namely ERP is software that integrates all processes within a company, can unify various components both physically and virtual , such as marketing, finance, production, and human resources. The integration process in business is considered very important for a company, its use through computer-based ERP systems can manage business and improve business performance better. System integration can reduce the trigger for lost or stolen data, using this ERP system can make an integrated process and avoid misuse and companies can unify and observe the pace of their business.

Abstract

LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) is one of the petroleum products produced by PT Pertamina (Persero). The government has implemented a national energy policy by converting kerosene to LPG. In 2007, the government started converting kerosene into 3 kg LPG. In order to overcome the scarcity of 3 kg LPG, Pertamina and the government have begun to improve, one of which is by changing the 3 kg LPG distribution system from an open distribution system to a closed distribution system. This is to reduce oil subsidies, the largest portion of which is 50% of the government's energy subsidies, and each year the subsidies continue to increase. PT Pertamina (Persero) launched its product with a new variant of 3 kg LPG packaging which is fully subsidized by the government so that kerosene consumers can switch to LPG. With the issuance of the conversion policy, all kerosene trading agents became agents of 3 kg LPG. PT. Sintora Putra GasIndo is a company engaged in gas distribution for 3 kg of gas. PT. Sintora Putra GasIndo distributes its products in several areas of Deli Serdang. To market their products, companies need a marketing system, namely distribution channels that must be studied, so that companies can earn big profits in certain areas in the Deli Serdang area. Regarding the objectives to be achieved, namely the efficiency and effectiveness of the company and the use of available resources. Competition in the market is getting tougher and products can be widely available in several areas of Deli Serdang. Abstract

Thus the purpose of this study is to analyze the marketing promotion strategy implemented by PT Kalbe Farma Tbk's Marketing Area to build competitiveness and improve the pharmaceutical industry, especially in selling generic drugs. Business strategy is a tool that gives a company a competitive advantage. Competitive advantage is a prerequisite for companies to maintain the desired competitive advantage in order to remain profitable and sustainable. consumer purchases continue to increase, advertising and other promotional tools must be balanced by giving discounts and gifts that increase sales value. The research method used is a qualitative approach research method. Qualitative methodology is a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behavior. Data collection techniques are carried out by analyzing literature related to research, scientific journals, books, magazines and others. He admitted that 400 of Kalbe's products were also copies of generic foreign products. Through Innogene, Kalbe will be listed as the first local pharmaceutical company to launch various innovative and original products made by Kalbe. The results show that from the analysis of external factors, the opportunities for foreign market distributor promotion strategies for Kalbe are: good pharmaceutical market growth, product innovation and patents, pharmaceutical regulatory policies that benefit incumbent players, information technology capabilities, product technology capabilities and processes, capabilities of economies of scale, broad product lines, ability to build quality. and supply chain capabilities.
