Abstract

The discovery of the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) and the spread of Covid-19 have caused the governmentto take drastic steps, namely taking a lockdown policy for the majority of the population. This research isused to determine or identify people's attitudes in the new normal era. Data analysis in this study wascarried out by researchers from the beginning, in every aspect of research activities. The data analysis stepthat the researchers used was the data analysis of the Miles and Huberman models carried out in this casestudy research were as follows: (1) data reduction; (2) display or presentation of data; (3) verification ordraw conclusions. Currently the Covid-19 outbreak is considered a transnational emergency. Apart fromthe human tragedy of the Covid-19 pandemic, this virus also has an increasingly large impact in variousfields. The education sector also experienced significant disruptions. Education from the community meanseducation provides answers to community needs. Education by the community means that the communityis placed as the subject / actor of education, not the object of education. Abstract

Social studies is one of the compulsory subjects in elementary schools. This subject contains lessons related to social life. With the existence of social studies lessons in elementary schools, it is hoped that students will have knowledge of the basic concepts of social science, sensitivity to social problems in their environment, and the role of humans as social beings. The research method used in this research is mixed methods, in which this research is a combination of two approaches, namely qualitative and quantitative. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The subjects used in this study were teachers and students of Kebonsari Kulon 3 Elementary School, Probolinggo City, 2020-2021 academic year. Therefore, this research is expected to be able to be useful for the social sciences, especially because IPS or Social Studies has a noble task and becomes an important foundation for the intellectual, emotional, cultural and social development of students, namely being able to develop ways of thinking, behaving and behaving responsibly. as individuals, citizens of society, citizens, and citizens of the world. Abstract

This study aims to convey a message to the public. Film is a good medium to transfer cultural and educational values to the audience. This study aims to determine the meaning and values of nationalism in the film wage. This research method uses qualitative research methods with discourse analysis from Norman Fairclough. This research uses data collection techniques in the form of observation, literature study and in-depth interviews. Data analysis techniques in qualitative research are carried out in several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The result of this research is that the film has a positive meaning. This meaning is what makes us grow the value of nationalism in history lessons. The recommendation given by the researcher in this study is that further research should choose a biopic film that really has a moral message and has deep meaning for the younger generation of Indonesia.Keywords: History Learning Media; Film; Nationalism

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and identify potentials that are not yet optimal in the development of Bermi Eco Park (BEP). This research use desciptive qualitative approach. Data was collected through the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique is through stages; data reduction, data modeling, data classification and drawing conclusions. The research findings explain that the existence of the Bermi Eco Park (BEP) destination has a good impact on improving the economy of the surrounding community. The existence of the Bermi Eco Park (BEP) makes the community play an active role in seizing opportunities to increase income. Despite the fact that they only take advantage of the existence of tourist destinations to earn additional income. The recommendations for optimizing the potential of Bermi Eco Park (BEP) include; (1) the need for additional outbound rides; (2) reforestation with environmental concepts in certain areas; (3) digitizing visitors with barcodes; and (4) the need for visitor restrictions in order to maintain environmental balance.Key word: Potency; Economy; Bermi Eco Park(BEP).

Abstract

Information and communication technology in the 5.0 era is massive and make changes to people's lives. There are many positive impacts from the internet, but there are also negative impacts causing problematic behavior in society such as online gambling. This study uses a phenomenological type of qualitative approach. The sample used in this purposive sampling study was the active students of Probolinggo Regency. Data collection techniques used by researchers in this study were observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Testing the validity of the data in this study using source triangulation techniques. Analyzing the data obtained carried out several stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification/drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that online gambling has a negative and positive impact on the lives of Probolinggo students who are already familiar with online gambling. The negative impacts felt by Probolinggo students in their lives such as decreased learning achievement, resulting in addiction, and lack of socializing with family. not only has a negative impact, but also has a positive impact on the lives of its users (students) such as getting big profits. This research is recommended to the public, especially educators and students, to be more aware of the phenomenon of addiction disorder which is quite worrying. Abstract

Di era modernitas, modernisasi dan globalisasi memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap budaya lokal, termasuk budaya Rewang. Praktik-praktik tradisional mengalami perubahan atau bahkan tergeser oleh pengaruh budaya luar. Pada sistem kapitalis yang komersial, budaya sering kali menjadi objek komodifikasi. Bahkan budaya adiluhung saling membantu dan bergotong-royong dapat diubah menjadi transaksi komersial yang lebih individualistik seiring menjamurnya Wedding Organizer dan bisnis catering. Penelitian budaya Rewang di era modernitas kapitalis dapat membantu memahami bagaimana globalisasi dan modernisasi mempengaruhi budaya Rewang, dan apakah ada upaya untuk menyesuaikan praktik-praktik tradisional dengan berbagai tantangannya. Oleh karena itu artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi makna secara filosofis maupun praktis dari tradisi Rewang pada masyarakat Jawa umumnya dan Jawa Timur khususnya. Penelitian ini juga akan memaparkan legitimasi perempuan jawa sebagai penentu suksesnya hajatan meski secara struktur berada dalam second class. Metode yang digunakan adalah etnografi dengan peneliti bertindak sebagai participant observer yang melakukan indepth interview dan kemudian menginterpretasinya dalam artikel. Dalam penelitian ditemukan bahwa masyarakat modern juga mencoba untuk merespons dan merevitalisasi tradisi yang terancam punah. Ada upaya untuk menghidupkan kembali praktik-praktik tradisional, mengadaptasinya dengan cara yang relevan dengan konteks modern. Maka, dengan menggunakan perspektif antropologi budaya tulisan ini memaparkan fakta sosial bahwa tradisi masih memiliki tempat dalam masyarakat modern. Meskipun ada perubahan dan tantangan yang dihadapi, diharapkan tradisi tradisi Rewang ini tetap hidup dan berfungsi sebagai cara untuk memperkuat identitas, mempertahankan warisan budaya, dan menciptakan ikatan sosial dalam masyarakat modern.   Kata kunci: tradisi Rewang, legitimasi perempuan jawa, hajatan

Abstract

In Indonesia, attention is focused on the phenomenon of low academic achievement among children, which is often associated with the role of parents in education. The aim of this research is to identify the relationship between parental roles and children’s academic achievement in the village. The research method employed is qualitative, with random sampling of four parents whose children are attending school. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation to understand parental involvement and children’s academic performance. The collected data was then analyzed descriptively. The results of the analysis revealed a significant positive relationship between active parental involvement and children’s academic achievement. These findings underscore the importance of parental support in improving children’s learning outcomes in the village.

Abstract

Conventionally, museums are positioned as enclosed spaces for preserving cultural heritage, characterized by formal and informative interactions between staff and visitors. This concept emphasizes preservation and documentation functions but has not fully provided participatory and contextual educational experiences for the public. This study aims to analyze the integration of the ecomuseum and living history concepts as an educational model focusing on the environment, local wisdom, and past cultural practices, which can enhance visitor participation and ecological awareness. The research employed a qualitative approach using observation, literature review, and in-depth interviews with museum managers, cultural communities, and visitors. Data were analyzed through thematic analysis to identify patterns of meaning from experiences and practices implemented in the development of green, past-themed museums. The findings indicate that the combination of green open spaces, traditional food, classic clothing, and historical narratives delivered by guides and museum staff can strengthen environmental literacy, enhance immersive experiences, and deepen the understanding of local culture. Theoretical frameworks applied include ecopedagogy, Bandura’s social learning theory, and the local wisdom approach in education, which collectively explain the effectiveness of this integrative model. The study recommends the adoption of the eco-living museum concept in museum management and educational policies to create environmentally friendly, participatory, and sustainable learning spaces.
