Abstract

Research on the analisys of the role of product development to sales volume  in PT.Panasonic Gobel Indonesia in Batam implemented by developing old products into new products. This research was done because the condition of the ever-changing customer tastes along with the development of technology. By doing research using colleration and regretion analisys is expected to increase sales volume and are able to extend the life cycle of product.The results showed that product development is done through the division of research and development (R D) provides a strong influence on the increased sales volume. The CRT television absolete and began to anbandoned by the consumer develop a LCD television that has features that is more sophisticated than the CRT TV. With the advent of new products that have better quality, consumer are beginning to switch to another brand of television began to re-purchase the product brand name “Panasonic”. Apart form product development through increased sales volume is also influenced by other factors such as pricing, advertising and promotion, quality and service.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether is a positive and significant relationship between performance appraisal and leadership style on work productivity, as well to determine jointly whether is a positive and significant relationship between job performance and assessment of leadership style on produktivity at work PT. Sumitomo Batam Indonesia.            From the result of multiple regresion analysis, the equation obtained to predict the magnitude of the effect between the independent variable (X) of the variable is dependent (Y), namely produktivity (Y)=2.664+2.450X1+1.184X2. cab be seen that the assessment of work performance/achievement has more higre influence than the leadership style.            Of the F-test result, obtained valuaes of 49.196, F value with probality values (sig) = 0,000. Fcount ( 49.196) Ftable (3,09), and the sig smaller than the probality value of 0,05 or 0,000 0,05; Means jointly work performance appraisal and leadership style have a significant effect on labor produktivity.            From the result of the t-test, in can be concluded that the variable job performance appraisal and leadership style variable has a significant influence on labor produktivity, with a significant level of 0,05% or 5%. Calculation ofthe t-test showed that the tcount ttable.

Abstract

Developments in science and technology are rapidly bringing fundamental change in human life to improve the performance of the individual and society. Human resource issues to internal problems within an organization. Performance of employees is very important and is the end result of the accumulation of all the process there are various factors that influence employee performance. Such as leadership and job satisfaction. This study will focus on the Department of Revenue Riau Islands Province. Sampling technique using census techniques, because the relatively small population of 30 people, type of data used is primary data. Data collected through the distribution of questionnaires. Once it is done with the method of testing the validity and reliability of the instrument. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. Based on the analysis and discussion in the previous famil, it can be concluded as follows: (1) Respondents' perceptions about leadership is good, perserpsi respondents about job satisfaction is high and the perception of respondents about the employee's performance is very high. (2) There is a positive and significant effect between leadership on employee performance. (3) The existence of a positive and significant effect between job satisfaction on employee performance. (4) The existence of a positive and significant effect between leadership and job satisfaction on employee performance. As for suggestions that could be addressed in this study include: (1) Should the company can improve the leadership has been good, this can be done by paying attention to subordinates. (2) Receipt Party can maintain job satisfaction of employees who have been included in the category are satisfied. (3) In the next study may add other variables that influence employee performance such as: stress of work, commitment and communication.
