AbstractThis study aims to determine the effects of Project-Based Learning development in social studies to improve students’ higher-order thinking skills in the fifth grade, from Al Mursyidiyyah Islamic primary school in Kota Tangerang Selatan. The method used in this research is the research and development (R&D) and quasi-experimental method. Research and development (R&D) is used to develop Project Based Learning to improve students’ higher-order thinking skills in the fifth grade of Islamic primary school. The quasi-experimental method is used to find the difference of students' higher-order thinking skills improvement using project-based learning models in social studies against students who get learning with conventional learning models. Data collection techniques in this study used to test and observation instruments. Thus, this study finds that project-based learning in social studies improves students’ higher-order thinking skills. The novelty of this research is the development of project-based learning in social studies can improve the higher-order thinking skills of Islamic Primary School students. AbstrakTujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Project Based Learning terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi dalam pembelajaran IPS pada siswa kelas V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Mursyidiyyah Kota Tangerang Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dan metode kuasi eksperimen. Metode R&D digunakan untuk mengembangkan project based learning dalam IPS untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa dan metode kuasi eksperimen digunakan untuk mengetahui perbandingan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS yang menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi eksperimen Nonequivalent Control Group Pretest-posttest Design dimana kelompok eksperimen maupun kelompok kontrol tidak dipilih secara random. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes dan pengamatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasisis proyek dalam pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa. Novelti penelitian ini adalah pengembangan pembelajaran berbasisis proyek dalam pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa. Forest people perceive forests asliving quarter stomaintaint their existence is the face of the earth. They saw the forest as their homes. They do not have a permanent home, as usual modern humanism general. They made the house just enough to protect them from rain and heat. Their house isshapedlike a very simple ordinary tents they calls udung. Their perception of space also affect show these tribes make ends meet. Traditionally basically staple food needs and another needs can be metby the forest. Their traditional way of life consists of hunting and gathering.

Abstract: Money in the Islamic Economic Perspectives. This article aims at giving description about money in the perspective of Islamic economic. The data gathered through library research. Islamic economic system is different from economic system with the basis of socialism, capitalism, mix economic, communism, and traditional; one of the differences is on its perspective towards money. The function of money in Islamic economic perspectives is that it functions as a medium of exchange for goods and services. Islam forbids stacking money and making money as a commodity. Because stacking money slows down the velocity of money. It gives impact on minimizing financial transaction and resulting to the economic decrease. Islam proscribes interest and refuses all pseudo-transactions as happen in money market and capital market. Keywords: money, Islamic economics Abstrak: Uang Dalam Persfektif Ekonomi Islam. Artikel ini ditulis untuk memberikan gambaran tentang uang dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam. Guna memperoleh data yang dimaksud, penulis melakukan kajian kepustakaan. Sistem Ekonomi Islam berbeda dengan sistem ekonomi kapitalisme, sosialisme, ekonomi campuran, komunisme dan sistem ekonomi tradisional. Salah satu perbedaannya adalah pandangan terhadap fungsi uang. Fungsi uang dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam hanya terbatas pada uang sebagai alat tukar barang dan jasa. Islam melarang penumpukan uang dan menjadikan uang sebagai sebuah komoditas. Karena penimbunan uang berarti memperlambat perputaran uang. Hal ini berarti memperkecil terjadinya transaksi, sehingga perekonomian menjadi lesu. This article was written to provide an overview of the values of local wisdom in the culture of Orang Rimba (Jungle People) in Black Water District Sarolangun Jambi Province. To obtain the data in question, the author conducted research by coducting interview, observation and study of literature. Orang Rimba have lifestyles and beliefs that are unique and different from the life of modern society. They looked at the forest as their residence. One belief of Orang Rimba is if there are people who died at their residence, then it is considered as an area harmful and they have to find a new place. This habit is called ”Melangun”. This belief is the main factor that affect the Orang Rimba not settled. Orang Rimba tribe regarded as backward, primitive and easily manipulated. However, if studied carrefully, Orang Rimba have so much values for us to learn, especially in their behavior with regards to natural preservation.

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh motivasi belajar dan kedisiplin saat Home Learning terhadap hasil belajar IPS kelas IV MI Al-Mursyidiyyah. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian ex-post facto. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik Probability Sampling jenis simple Random Sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket dan dokumentasi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif presentase dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil analisis diperolah harga koefisien korelasi (Ry(1,2)) sebesar 0,306, koefisien korelasi tersebut bernilai positif maka terdapat pengaruh positif variabel motivasi belajar dan kedisiplinan saat Home Learning terhadap hasil belajar IPS. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R2y(1,2)) sebesar 0,093 atau 9,3% yang berarti bahwa motivasi belajar dan kedisiplinan saat Home Learning mampu menjelaskan 9,3% perubahan hasil belajar.

This research aims to know the Effect of Learning Starts With A Question (LSQ) Method to Learning Outcomes of IPS (Social Studies) Subject at MIN 15 Bintaro. The method used in this research is quasi experiment with research design of two group randomized subject pretest and posttest. This research was conducted at MIN 15 Bintaro on 21 April - 12 May 2014. The sampling technique in this study used cluster random sampling. The instrument of this research is a test (multiple choice) which amounts to 25 multiple choice questions. To measure the validity of the data reseacher used Annates Program. After hypothesis testing using technique Paired Sample T-Test obtained t count equal to 0,034 at significance level <0,05, thus, H1 accepted and H0 rejected because 0,034 <0,05, so it can be concluded that there is influence of  Learning Starts With A Question (LSQ) method to Learning Outcomes of IPS (Social Studies) Subject.

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the implementation of the project based learning model to improve students' higher-order thinking skills in social science material in social sciences. The method used in this study is a qualitative survey method with a total of 22 students. The instruments used in this research are observation and documentation. The data analysis used is qualitative data analysis. Qualitative data analysis is used to provide information that describes the improvement in the results of teacher performance and student activities by using a project_based learning model that is applied during the implementation of learning by using observation sheets. This shows that from the first meeting to the end of four meetings the teacher's performance from 70% to 100% and student activity from 60% to 100%. The conclusion in this study is that students' high-level thinking in social studies can be improved by implementing a project based learning model for class VB students at SDN.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa PGMI FITK UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta terhadap eksistensi Pancasila di era globalisasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket, wawancara, observasi dan kajian kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bagaimanapun kondisi bangsa di era globalisasi ini, mahasiswa PGMI FITK UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta sebagai responden masih meyakini bahwa Pancasila masih sangat relevan dengan kondisi kehidupan bangsa dan negara Indonesia. Pancasila dipandang mampu menjadi salah satu faktor perekat persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa Indonesia. Oleh karena itu agar Pancasila lebih dipahami dan diamalkan oleh bangsa ini, pendidikan Pancasila harus lebih ditingkatkan jumlah jam pelajaran dan kualitas pembelajarannya. This study aims to determine the perception of students PGMI FITK UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta against the existence of Pancasila in globalization era. The research method that used in this research is survey method with data collection technique in the form of questionnaire, interview, observation and literature study. The result of research shows that no matter the condition of the nation in this globalization era, students of PGMI FITK UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta as a respondent in this research still believe that Pancasila is still relevant to Indonesian nation and state. Pancasila is considered to be one of the factors of glueing unity and unity of the Indonesian nation. Therefore, in order to Pancasila to be better understood and practiced by this nation, Pancasila education should be increased more the number of lessons and the quality of its learning.

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of reading literacy to improve students' reading comprehension skills in class III Indonesian at SD Muhammadiyah 12 Setiabudi Pamulang. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR), with two cycles. The instruments used to test students' reading comprehension skills used observation sheets and test questions. The subjects in this study were 33 class III students at SD Muhammadiyah 12 Setiabudi Pamulang. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics with percentages. Based on the results of research and discussion, it is known that the results of completeness in the pre-cycle are 72%, and completeness in cycle I is 76%, and completeness in cycle II is 84%. Based on these results it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' reading comprehension skills in Indonesian subjects by applying reading literacy.
