Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the availability and use of teaching materials in schools, especially elementary schools. The teaching materials used are suitable for the students' needs. This study uses a Research and Development approach and method. The data collection technique here is to use interviews, teacher, and student response questionnaires to digital-based mathematics comic teaching materials. The field studies carried out include identifying the availability of teaching materials, analyzing the needs of teaching materials, analyzing learning, and identifying students' initial characteristic behaviors. The results of interviews based on field studies show that so far teachers have used conventional teaching materials, and only occasionally use digital-based teaching materials in the form of videos that are displayed on YouTube videos. Student response during learning so far is feeling less happy in participating in learning, especially learning mathematics, students' verbal ability in mathematics is still lacking. Based on these results, it is necessary to have teaching materials designed according to the needs and characteristics of students, namely by using digital-based comic teaching materials to improve the ability to understand mathematical concepts.Keywords: Teaching Materials, Mathematical Comic, Digital Abstract Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ketersediaan dan penggunaan bahan ajar  disekolahan khususnya sekolah dasar. Bahan ajar yang digunakan apakah sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan dan metode penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Teknik pengambilan data disini adalah menggunakan wawancara, angket respon guru dan siswa terhadap bahan ajar komik matematika berbasis digital. Studi lapangan yang dilakukan diantarannya adalah mengidentifikasi ketersediaan bahan ajar, melakukan analisis kebutuhan bahan ajar, melakukan analisis pembelajaran, dan mengidentifikasi perilaku karakteristik awal siswa. Hasil wawancara berdasarkan studi lapangan adalah, selama ini guru menggunakan bahan ajar konvensional, dan hanya sesekali menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis digital yang berbantu video yang ditampilkan melalui video youtube. Respon siswa selama pembelajaran selama ini adalah merasa kurang senang dalam mengikuti pembelajaran khususnya pembelajaran matematika, kemampuan siswa secara verbal pada pelajaran matematika juga masih sangat kurang. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka sangat diperlukan adanya bahan ajar yang dirancang sesuai kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa yaitu dengan menggunakan bahan ajar komik berbasis digital untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika.Kata kunci: Bahan Ajar, Komik Matematika, Digital

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of corporate culture, managerial ability, and decision making on the performance of leaders in managing the environment. This research is a quantitative study. Survey data were analyzed by path analysis. The results showed as follows: (1) company culture has a positive direct effect on leadership performance (2) Managerial ability has a positive direct effect on leadership performance, (3) decision making has a positive direct effect on leadership performance, (4) corporate culture has positive direct influence on decision making, (5) managerial ability has a positive direct influence on decision making. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that any changes or variations that occur in the leader's performance have been influenced by company culture, managerial ability, and decision making.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to examine the effect of the learning environment, inquiry, and learning interest on student social studies learning assessment. The participants involved in this study are 130 students from public primary schools in South Jakarta. Data collection consists of social studies learning score, learning environment scale, inquiry scale, and learning interest scale. The results of the study show that the learning environment, inquiry, and learning interest directly influenced student social studies learning assessment in which inquiry and learning interest have a significant effect on student social studies learning assessment.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh lingkungan belajar, inkuiri, dan minat belajar terhadap penilaian belajar Ilmu Pendidikan Sosial (IPS) siswa. Peserta yang terlibat adalah 130 siswa dari sekolah dasar negeri di Jakarta Selatan. Pengumpulan data terdiri dari skor pembelajaran IPS, skala lingkungan belajar, skala inkuiri, dan skala minat belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan belajar, inkuiri, dan minat belajar secara langsung mempengaruhi penilaian belajar IPS siswa. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effects of Project-Based Learning development in social studies to improve students’ higher-order thinking skills in the fifth grade, from Al Mursyidiyyah Islamic primary school in Kota Tangerang Selatan. The method used in this research is the research and development (R&D) and quasi-experimental method. Research and development (R&D) is used to develop Project Based Learning to improve students’ higher-order thinking skills in the fifth grade of Islamic primary school. The quasi-experimental method is used to find the difference of students' higher-order thinking skills improvement using project-based learning models in social studies against students who get learning with conventional learning models. Data collection techniques in this study used to test and observation instruments. Thus, this study finds that project-based learning in social studies improves students’ higher-order thinking skills. The novelty of this research is the development of project-based learning in social studies can improve the higher-order thinking skills of Islamic Primary School students.   AbstrakTujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Project Based Learning terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi dalam pembelajaran IPS pada siswa kelas V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Mursyidiyyah Kota Tangerang Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dan metode kuasi eksperimen. Metode R&D digunakan untuk mengembangkan project based learning dalam IPS untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa dan metode kuasi eksperimen digunakan untuk mengetahui perbandingan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS yang menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi eksperimen Nonequivalent Control Group Pretest-posttest Design dimana kelompok eksperimen maupun kelompok kontrol tidak dipilih secara random. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes dan pengamatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasisis proyek dalam pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa. Novelti penelitian ini adalah pengembangan pembelajaran berbasisis proyek dalam pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa. Abstract

AbstractThis study was intended to improve the ability in understanding mathematical concepts through digital-based comics. The population in this study were the fifth grade elementary school students in the Genuksari area, Semarang, Indonesia, totaling 120 students, with sample of 58 students. The instrument used in this study was a test of the ability to understand mathematical concepts. Meanwhile, the research data were analyzed using different test (t-test) and normalized gain test. The results showed that the t test results showed t-count = 39.74 > t-table = 1.98 at the significance level α = 0.05. This means that the use of digital-based comic teaching materials is better than conventional books. Meanwhile, the results of the n-gain test showed that the pretest value was 61.17 and the posttest value was 90.96 with an average value of 0.73 increase in the high category. So, it can be concluded that the teaching materials developed could increase students' ability to understand mathematical concepts. Therefore, the use of teaching materials digital-based comics is very effective and becomes an alternative in increasing the ability to understand mathematical concepts in elementary school students.Keywords: teaching materials, digital comics, ability to understand mathematical concepts. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika melalui komik berbasis digital. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas lima sekolah dasar di wilayah Genuksari, Semarang, Indonesia yang berjumlah 120 siswa, dengan sampel 58 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika. Sementara itu, data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji beda (t-tes) dan uji gain ternormalisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil uji t menunjukkan t-hitung = 39,74 > t-tabel = 1,98 pada taraf signifikansi  α = 0,05. Artinya penggunaan bahan ajar komik berbasis digital lebih baik dari buku konvensional. Sedangkan hasil uji n-gain diperoleh bahwa nilai pretest sebesar 61,17 dan nilai posttest sebesar 90,96 dengan nilai rata-rata peningkatan sebesar 0,73 dengan kategori tinggi. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan bahan ajar komik berbasis digital sangat efektif dan menjadi alternatif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika pada siswa sekolah dasar.Kata kunci: bahan ajar, komik digital, kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop learning specifically on digital comic media, State University of Jakarta. The rmethod non-test research instruments in the form of student needs analysis questionnaires, feasibility questionnaires to media experts and material experts as well as test questionnaires to lecturers and students or questionnaires. Then at the stage of research and information gathering a needs analysis survey was conducted of students and students about the development of comic learning media to determine the needs and constraints faced by students. The results of the assessment in the form of digital comic product designs amounted to 90% (very good). The number of final average aspects and indicators of the characteristics of learning media amounted to 91.3% (very good / decent). The assessment of the material presented in digital comics media is considered good with results reaching 73%. The results of the product feasibility assessment assessed by 20 students from the Building Engineering Education Study Program were obtained at 91% (very good). Then the material validation and media on digital comic products developed were obtained an average score of 82.33% and included in the excellent category. Therefore the product can be said to be feasible to use. Keywords: Learning Media, Digital Comics, Building Construction.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the education of schools in the village of Paranglompoa, education of children in the family, community education in the village Paranglompoa, and to know the understanding of early marriage in the village Paranglompoa. The research was conducted in Paranglompoa village of Gowa Makassar district in February-March 2018 using survey method with qualitative descriptive approach and phenomenology approach. In the data collection is through observation, interview and documentation. Selection of informants using purposive sampling technique (sample aims) is the informants that researchers set as many as 20 people consisting of the community, parents, teachers, students and perpetrators of early marriage. Discussion in this research there are 4 sub focus that is school education, family education, community education and understanding of early marriage. The results of the study note that the dropout of education and the occurrence of early marriage is caused by the low level of parental education, economically weak, pregnancy outside marriage, the distance between parents and children far apart where children raised by grandmother, while the parents wander into Indonesian workers in Malaysia and caused because lack of understanding of the community early-age marriage. The challenge faced by the local village is the lack of character education for the local people. The solution provided that the community needs to be embraced, and invited cooperation in terms of continuation of children's education, community education and the importance of understanding early marriage. So that the number of school dropouts and early marriage can be avoided.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pendidikan karakter di SMP Al-Hilaal Kamal yang mana di dalamnya mencakup memahami dan menjelaskan tentang pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter.Menjelaskan kendala yang dihadapi serta strategi yang dilakukan dalam mengatasi kendala-kendala yang dihadapi.Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Pemilihan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru mata pelajaran agama, dan guru mata pelajaran pkn. Hasil penelitian ini adalah implementasi pendidikan karakter di SMP Al-Hilaal Kamal belum sepenuhnya efektif disebabkan oleh kurangnya kerjasama yang baik antara pihak sekolah dan pihak yayasan serta komite sekolah. Hal ini yang menyebabkan proses evaluasi pendidikan karakter kurang berjalan dengan baik karena tidak adanya dukungan dari yayasan dan komite sekolah. Solusi yang diberikan adalah pihak yayasan serta komite sekolah harus bersama-sama dengan pihak sekolah untuk bekerjasama dalam mengawal proses pendidikan karakter baik dalam proses pelaksanaan sampai dengan proses evaluasi, dan ketiga pihak tersebut harus profesional, agar pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter bisa berjalan dengan efektif.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui peran orangtua di dalam menangani anak Autisme yang sedang mengikuti program terapi di Pusat Penanganan Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus Kenosis. Partisipan penelitian ini terdiri dari empat orangtua dan empat anak Autisme. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi data. Temuan hasil penelitian ini adalah: Peran orangtua sangat penting, karena mereka adalah orang yang paling mengetahui kondisi anak. karena dengan pemahaman yang baik tentang hal ini, orangtua akan selektif mencari jalan keluar untuk anak berkaitan dengan pusat terapi maupun program, keterlibatan orangtua di setiap program sangat di harapkan untuk memberikan semangat anak, dan kemampuan Financial sangat menentukan di dalam melaksanakan program untuk anak. Orangtua sebagai manager dan supervisor di segala aktivitas yang di lakukan agar bisa mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan. Peran orangtua perlu ditingkatkan, pemahamannya, keterlibatan dan kemampuan financial yang memadai. Pusat terapi mengharapkan orangtua dapat melanjutkan program terapi dirumah sehingga tercapai hasil yang diinginkan di dalam penanganan anak Autisme.
