Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan antara disminorea dengan aktivitas belajar mahasiswi akademi kebidanan Delima Persada Gresik. Penelitian ini menggunakan analitik observasional dengan pendekatan Chi-Square. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswi akademi kebidanan Delima Persada Gresik dengan teknik  Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan Analisis bivariat. Dari hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa jika Asymp.Sig. (2-sided) <0,05 maka ada hubungan antara dismenorea dengan aktivitas belajar. Pengetahuan dan penanganan masalah dismenore yang tepat diperlukan oleh mahasiswa, agar tidak mengganggu aktivitas belajar bahkan aktivitas sehari-hari sehingga nilai prestasi dalam belajar terus meningkat.

Abstract

Generally, parents have introduced smartphones as their children’s learning facility, whereas children are groups of high risk for addiction. This study aims to analyze the risk factors of smartphone addiction on pre-school children. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 1392 mothers with children aged 3-6 years. The data were collected by using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed bivariate with chi-square by IBM SPSS 22 software and multivariate with path analysis by IBM STATA 13 software. The directly factors which make children addicted to smartphone are mother’s age (b= 2.12; CI 95%= 1.68-2.69; p= 0.000), mother’s occupation (b= 1.69; CI 95%= 1.35-2.12; p= 0.000), parents’ control (OR= 1.93; 95% CI= 1.55 to 2.40; p= 0.000), and smartphones ownership by children (OR= 1.69; 95% CI= 1.31 to 2.17; p= 0.000). Mother’s education, rules of smartphone usage in the family and rules of smartphone usage at school affects on children addicted to smartphone indirectly. There is a direct effect of mother’s age, mother’s occupation, parents’ control on the smartphone usage and smartphones child’s personal smartphone to the risk of smartphone addiction to pre-school children. Meanwhile, there is an indirect effect on a mother’s education, rules of smartphone usage in the family, and school effects to the risk of smartphone addiction to pre-school children.

Abstract

Sometimes women experience pain when menstruating, but some people have less information abouthandling it by applying warm compress. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of providing lessons regarding the management of menstrual pain with warm compresses on the knowledge of female teenagers in Dharma Wanita Gresik Vocational School. This study used a sample of 235 Dharma Wanita Gresik Vocational School students. MacNemar test was used as analysis method. The results showed that before the lessons given, about 192 students (81.7%) had less knowledge about handling dysmenorrhoea. But after the counseling about menstrual pain (dysmenorrhoea) and its treatment by applying warm compresses the knowledge of students is getting better by 219 students (93.3%). From the MacNemar test results obtained value ɑ = 0,000, it shows that students' knowledge about menstrual pain (dysmenorrhoea) and its treatment with warm compresses has been increased. Abstract

Background: When a person enters adolescence, various changes happen for both physical and mental. In young women, it is shown by the start of the menstrual cycle. At this time, they should get accurate information about the process of menstruation, menstrual disorders that may occur and how to handle those. There are several menstrual disorders, one of them is dysmenorrhea or menstrual pain. Dysmenorrhea forces women to rest or results in reduced daily activities. Objective: To determine the effect of providing material on the treatment of menstrual pain with the consumption of ginger on the knowledge of adolescent girls in Gending Kebomas Village, Gresik. Methods: This study used a sample of young women in Gending Kebomas Gresik Village, amounting to 100 respondents. The analysis used in this study used a bivariate test (paired sample T test). Results: The results shown that the significance was 0.000 so that the results of the bivariate analysis on Adolescent Girls' Knowledge for Handling Dysmenorrhea with Curcuma Consumption (pre and post) shown differences between pretest and posttest results. Conclusion: that the results of the activities carried out by the researchers succeeded in increasing respondents' knowledge about Handling Dysmenorrhea with Curcuma Consumption.

Abstract

Adolescent girls are more at risk of being infected with their reproductive organs, this event occurs because of a lack of attitude in maintaining personal hygiene, especially when menstruating. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of reproductive health education on adolescent girls on personal hygiene during menstruation in the Midwifery Study Program, Faculty of Health, University of Muhamadiyah Gresik. This research is analytic observational, the sample used is 20 respondents, the sample is taken using random sampling. Collecting data using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Statistical test using univariate and bivariate analysis with T test. The results of the paired samples t-test showed that there was a significant difference sig (2-tailed=0.000) between pre-test and post-test data from the effect of reproductive health education on adolescents on personal hygiene during menstruation. The conclusion is that there is a significant effect on respondents after being given reproductive health education to adolescent girls on personal hygiene during menstruation.

Abstract

Postpartum is a difficult time for a woman, they experience emotional changes to depression. If postpartum depression is not treated properly, the mother will not be able to take care of the baby and herself. This study aimed to determine the factors which influence postpartum depression in Gresik. The study was an observational analytic with a cohort study approach. The subject was 80 postpartum women. The statistic test used multivariate analysis with multiple linear regression. The result shown the number of postpartum women was 39 people (49%). Adjusted R2 = 70.8% means variable levels of education, work status, family income, family support, self-efficacy, explain postpartum depression variation of 70.8%, and together significantly influenced p <0.001. Conclusion: Education level, employment status, family income, family support, self-efficacy of postpartum mothers are factors that significantly influences the incidence of postpartum depression.

Abstract

Abstract Adolescent reproductive health is a healthy condition that concerns the reproductive systems, functions and processes of adolescents. The importance of maintaining reproductive health for adolescents because adolescence is the best time to build good habits of maintaining hygiene, which can be an asset in the long term. Community service activities have been carried out at SMK Dharma Wanita, Gresik. Community Service is divided into several stages, namely: appointment of reproductive health cadres from the school and counseling on reproductive health education for female adolescents about personal hygiene during menstruation through videos uploaded on the youtube channel https://youtu.be/FZuNTxH8GrQ. Followed by questions and answers using the WhatsApp (WA) media. This community service was attended by 10 students who had been appointed as reproductive health cadres. And our YouTube is followed by 103 viewers, 32 likes and 18 subscribers. At the end of this community service activity, the hope is that it can make female adolescents students become counseling friends about adolescent reproductive health with peers and can prevent problems that may arise due to inaccurate personal hygiene during menstruation, so that teaching and learning activities run well and there is an increase in achievement for students. And our hope as health workers is that young women can be responsible for their reproductive health which will have an impact on their future as healthy women and mothers.
