Abstract

A company should maintain an adequate or optimal level of inventory so that production operations can run smoothly and efficiently. What needs to be considered in this case is that the required raw materials are always available, so as to guarantee the smooth production process. However, the amount of inventory should not be too much because this will harm the company. Too much inventory will increase maintenance costs and storage costs in the warehouse. In addition, the amount of inventory that is too much can also increase the likelihood of losses due to damage and loss of quality that can reduce company profits. And vice versa, the amount of inventory that is too small will hamper the production process so that the company will suffer a lot of losses including: the machine does not work as it should, many workers are unemployed, and can even result in the cessation of the production process. This study aims to determine how the calculation of raw materials, what is the total cost of raw material inventory if the company establishes an EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) policy, what is the limit or point of ordering raw materials needed by the company during the grace period at PT.Bentoel International Investama in Malang.The population used is the supply of tobacco raw materials at PT. Bentoel International Investama, where this research was conducted by interview and documentation. The variable in this study is the supply of raw materials. The analysis used is the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) method.The results of the study, if using the EOQ method in 2017 the cost savings of Rp 40,290,256,931, while in 2018 the cost savings of Rp. 44,388,428,549. Thus there is a difference between inventory policies carried out according to the company with EOQ calculations. It can be concluded that the supply of raw materials every year has increased raw materials, the frequency of purchasing raw materials when using raw materials when using the EOQ method is 2 times in one period, the limit for ordering raw materials needed by companies when using the 2017 EOQ method is 218,176.7 kg, while in 2018 it will be 210,853 kg. The total cost of raw material inventory calculated according to EOQ is less than that spent by the company, so there is a cost savings of raw material inventory

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to examine the influence of the work environment and work stress on employee performance. This research uses a survey method by distributing questionnaires to respondents who are Nusantara Optik employees, with the number of respondents studied being 34 people. Independent variables include work environment, work stress, while the dependent variable is employee performance. Data analysis was carried out using regression techniques to assess the extent to which these independent variables can predict employee performance. The results of this research show that work environment variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, the work stress variable also has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Nusantara Optik employees.Key words: work environment, work stress, performance  AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan stres kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden yang merupakan karyawan Nusantara Optik, dengan Jumlah responden yang diteliti adalah 34 orang. Variabel independen meliputi lingkungan kerja, stres kerja, sementara variabel dependen adalah kinerja karyawan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik regresi untuk menilai sejauh mana variabel-variabel independen tersebut dapat memprediksi kinerja karyawan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sedangkan variabel stress kerja juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan Nusantara Optik.Kata kunci: lingkungan kerja, stres kerja, kinerja

Abstract

AbstractIn this study, the author uses customer satisfaction and trust in brand as independent variables that will test how they affect customer retention. The population used in this study is consumers of Indomaret Minimarket in Pasuruan. Where this population is a population whose number is not known for certain. In this study, sampling used non-probability sampling, using purposive sampling techniques, the number of samples taken using the Lameshow formula and obtained 100 respondents. The analysis tool used is multiple linear regression using the SPSS program. The results of the study were obtained from the results of the t-test that customer satisfaction and trust in brand each have a positive effect on customer retention. While the results of the F test were obtained together customer satisfaction and trust in brand have an effect on customer retention. The coefficient of determination seen in the adjusted R-squared value is 0.284 or 28.4%. Customer satisfaction is the dominant influence that affects customer retention compared to trust in brand.Keywords: Customer satisfaction, Trust in brand, Customer retentionAbstrakDalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan customer satisfaction dan trust in brand sebagai variabel independen yang akan menguji bagaimana pengaruhnya terhadap customer retention. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen Minimarket Indomaret di Pasuruan. Dimana populasi ini merupakan populasi yang jumlahnya tidak diketahui secara pasti. Dalam penelitian ini pengambilan sampel menggunakan non-probability sampling, dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, jumlah sampel yang diambil menggunakan rumus Lameshow dan didapatkan 100 responden. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan program SPSS. Hasil penelitan didapatkan dari hasil uji t bahwa customer satisfaction maupun trust in brand masing-masing berpengaruh positif terhadap customer retention. Sedangkan hasil uji F didapatkan secara bersama-sama customer satisfaction dan trust in brand berpengaruh terhadap customer retention. Koefisien determinasi yang terlihat pada nilai adjusted R-squared adalah 0,284 atau 28.4%. Customer satisfaction merupakan pengaruh dominan yang mempengaruhi customer retention dibandingkan dengan trust in brand.Kata kunci: Customer satisfaction, Trust in brand, Customer retention
