Abstract

In this COVID19 pandemic period, there are some citizens who understand the danger of this virus. They prefer to stay at home rather than go outside the house. Hence there is a decreasing profit that is suffered by the sellers in the market ABC. But there are also citizens who still belittle the danger of this virus maybe. According to the sellers of market ABC, there are still people who don't follow the health protocol and this causes anxiety and worries of the sellers in the market ABC. The method that writers use in this report is science and technology as an information platform that is sharing information with citizens. Writers will share information about COVID19 and how to start a new normal life to increase the profit of the sellers. By sharing information writers hope that this platform can increase the consciousness of citizens.

Abstract

Nowadays workplace filled with Gen X and Y employee, it is stated that by 2025, the employment field will be filled by millennials. Human resources are an asset to a company, turnover intention emerge a big problem for company every year. This research will be aim to determine and analyze factors that affect turnover intention with job satisfaction as intervening variable. Questionnaires was distributed to 360 employee that work in food and beverages distribution companies in Batam. However, there is only 280 data that can be analyze due to incompleteness and some questionnaire that didn’t return. The data is examined with SPSS to analyze the descriptive data and Smart PLS program to examine the relationship between independent to dependent variables while intervening through an intervening variable. The result of this study shown that there is a direct effect from salary, transformational leadership and job satisfaction toward turnover intentions. It also shows that there is an indirect effect from salary and transformational leadership towards turnover intention while it is mediating through job satisfaction. In other hand, it was found that work stress, emotional intelligence is not significant in giving effect towards turnover intention with or without the intervening from job satisfaction.

Abstract

Human resources are one of the most important assets owned by a business. In running a business, business owners have an obligation to ensure that human resources are able to carry out their job and responsibility precisely as well as efficiently. This can be done with job analysis, by analysing the work of each position the owner can obtain job description along with job description. Job analysis can make it easier for owners to choose the suitable human resources that are suited in one work position. As the business goes on, there is time to measure employee performance. Hence, there is a need to conduct a system that can make it easier for the owner to make an assessment by implementing performance appraisal system. Assessment indicators can be obtained from job descriptions that is obtained when carrying out job analysis. By carrying out job analysis and implementing the system, businesses can improve the overall employee work efficiency. On this research, job analysis and performance appraisal system were carried out at Rumah Makan Jodoh which is a micro business that sells various of Chinese and Indonesians cuisine. Rumah Makan Jodoh had been established since 2004. The method used in this research was observation and interviews with business owner. From the process of interviewing with owner it became aware that there is no precise responsibility of each position of the workers, therefore in this research will be conducting job analysis and implementing performance appraisal system to increase the overall work efficiency. This implementation lasted for three months. The results of this implementation were declared successful and the initial goal was achieved, which is placing the right employees in the right positions. The business owner also stated that this implementation had increased the overall work efficiency of employees.
