The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of human resource management practices, knowl- edge management, and talent management on organizational performance by mediating organization- al culture in the mining industry. The design used in this research is hypothesis testing using structural equation modeling. The population of respondents in this study were employees at the management level of mining companies in East Kalimantan Province. The sample collection of respondents is car- ried out proportionally to company employees based on production capacity per year with purposive sampling method, where the number of samples that meet the criteria for analysis is from 127 employ- ees of coal mining companies taken from 10 existing companies. From the research results, there are three direct relationship hypotheses that are accepted and four hypotheses are rejected. Organizational culture as a full mediation of the relationship between HRM practice and talent management on or- ganizational performance, while only as a partial mediation on the relationship between knowledge management and organizational performance. Future research can focus on social and environmental issues in the mining industry in Indonesia or other countries.

The industry needed a system to support its operation when most of the processes were done by equipment or machines. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) was a system to ensure all equipment or machines run in optimal performance for long period by fully supported by top management until the bottom level. Implementation of this system in the mining industry was still seldom due to some factors and organizational culture was one of the reasons. The purpose of this research was to analyze the influence of TPM implementation on operational performance by moderating the effect of organizational culture in the mining industry by using a two-step approach of structural equation model (SEM). The research type was under explanative research with hypothesis testing from primary data that was obtained from distributing questionnaires and direct interviews in the field which was analyzed by using Lisrel 8.7. This research showed that the construct of TPM has a significant impact to influence operation performance directly in the mining industry with a t-value of 3.54 and organization culture also increases the significance by moderating effect with t-value of interaction 5.28 was higher than 1.96 while organizational culture was not significant to influence operational performance directly that was showed by t-value 1.22. This study aims to determine the effect of multiculturalism and cultural diversity on innovative work behavior by mediating cultural intelligence. Organizations in international business require every individual working in a global work environment to have cross-cultural skills or cultural intelligence. This study collects data by distributing questionnaires to expatriates and Indonesians from other cities (different ethnicity, culture, race, and language). Respondents who were sampled were employees of shipping consulting companies and shipyards in Batam City. The sampling technique used the theory of Hair et al, 2010 with a minimum sample of 95. After collecting the results from the respondents, the authors tested the data using PLS software. Based on the results of the PLS test, the authors can conclude that there is a significant relationship or not from several variables in this study. The results of this study emphasize the importance of having or studying cultural intelligence (CQ). Cultural intelligence will greatly assist us in communicating and expressing various ideas and mindsets of people from other cultures, which will have an effect on creating innovative work behaviors and creative solutions
