Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of knowing the organization of homeless and beggar coaching by the Social Rehabilitation Office of West Java Province. In addition, it is also important to know the assistance process carried out by the Social Rehabilitation Office for homeless people who have participated in the rehabilitation program. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Descriptive method aims to describe or provide a complete picture of the effectiveness of the social rehabilitation program of the Bina Karya Social Rehabilitation Office.  The results showed that in general the program of activities held at the Rehabilitation Office was very influential on the client, despite the slight changes experienced by the clients. Basically, of the many programs held at the hall, the most influencing of the lives of these clients is the skill activities.

Abstract

Abstract

The number of Penyandang Masalah Kesejateraan Sosial (PMKS), especially Homeless people and Beggars in West Java Province is increasing. The number of Penyandang Masalah Kesejateraan Sosial (PMKS), especially Homeless people and Beggars in West Java Province is increasing in resolving poverty problems in the homeless and beggar categories which have physical, mental and spiritual guidance programs, individual social guidance. Knowing the results of the policy evaluation of the homeless and beggar program and to find out the efforts made by the orphanage in evaluating program policies and factors hindering program policy evaluation. The method used in this research is qualitative and data collection techniques are carried out by direct observation in the field, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the research show that the program implementation activities that are applied to homeless people and beggars are in the form of services and rehabilitation, including through various guidance activities, both in the form of spiritual, physical, social, mental and skills guidance and the program is considered ineffective because there are still clients after training returns to the streets The Orphanage evaluates in early 2020 to the new management and has applied direct work distribution to clients and also provides a rented house for the first year to be paid by the orphanage, it is hoped that after it is distributed to the work place.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas kebijakan pengentasan kemiskinan di Desa Panyaungan, Kecamatan Cihara. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan menganalisis implementasi program, dampak yang dihasilkan, serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam upaya mengurangi angka kemiskinan di wilayah tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan pengentasan kemiskinan yang diterapkan telah memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat, terutama dalam peningkatan akses terhadap layanan pendidikan, kesehatan, dan bantuan sosial. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa kendala, seperti ketidaksesuaian program dengan kebutuhan lokal, keterbatasan anggaran, serta kurangnya partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam program yang dijalankan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi yang lebih adaptif dan berbasis partisipasi masyarakat agar kebijakan pengentasan kemiskinan dapat berjalan lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan.
