Abstract

This study aims to produce fruit monopoly game media (MOBU) that is suitable for use by early childhood. In this study using the type of research and development or often called R & D. The design of this development research uses modifications and the Borg and Gall model. The product validity data analysis technique uses the V formula as Aiken and uses SPSS in field trials (limited trials) and expansion trials. From the results of the validator's assessment, it got a value of more than 0.05 so that the fruit monopoly game media can be said to be very feasible to use. Supported by the results of media trials in terms of convenience and attractiveness, the percentage results are 95%. Therefore, the fruit monopoly game media can be said to be valid and appropriate for use in early childhood learning, especially to improve the cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

This research aims to improve early childhood language skills, especially early childhood through ROBUKU game media at Kindergarten Dharma Wanita 2 Mojorembun. This research is a classroom action research. The subjects of this study are 15 children, consisting of 7 boys and 8 girls aged 5-6 years. The data collection technique uses quantitative descriptive techniques. The results of the study showed that there was an improvement in the language skills of Early Childhood aged 5-6 years through the media of ROBUKU games. It can be explained that language skills in children at Dharma Wanita 2 Mojorembun Kindergarten are children's ability to arrange letters into a word, convey information that children know in spoken language and read syllables, namely, 12 out of 15 or 80% of children are at Very Good Development ability while there are 3 children or 20% of children are found to be Undeveloped, Most of the children showed good mastery of language skills as measured through the application of this ROBUKU game media.
