Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of economic growth and unemployment on the Human Development Index (HDI) in South Sumatra Province in the period 2004 - 2018. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression in which economic growth and unemployment as independent variables and the index of human development as the dependent variable . The data used are time series data from 2004 - 2018 sourced from BPS. Based on multiple linear regression analysis results show that growth and unemployment have a positive effect on the human development index both partially and simultaneously. As for the contribution of the effect of economic growth and unemployment on the human development index the results were 45.3% and the remaining 54.7% were influenced by other variables such as poverty, education level and health level.

Abstract

The title of this study The effect of economic growth on poverty levels during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Regency / City of South Sumatra Province. The goal of this study was to see if the declining economic growth rate during the COVID-19 pandemic affected the poverty rate in the South Sumatra Province Regency/City.The hypothesis in this study is that the level of economic growth during the COVID-19 pandemic has a significant influence on the poverty rate in the Regency/City of South Sumatra Province.While the analytical tool used in this study is a simple linear regression analysis of panel data, using secondary data on economic growth rates and poverty rates from 17 districts/cities in the province of South Sumatra between 2019 and 2020. A simple linear regression analysis of panel data revealed that the declining economic growth rate during the COVID-19 pandemic had no significant effect on increasing the poverty rate in the South Sumatra Province Regency/City.The period time used in the study is the study's limitation. The recommendations made to future researchers are related to carrying out research development by incorporating data and other variables. Keywords: Economic Growth, Poverty Rate

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Pertumbuhan Ekonomi dan Upah Minimum Provinsi terhadap Kemiskinan di Indonesia Tahun 2017-2020. Sumber data sekunder diperoleh melalui BPS, dengan alat analisis yang digunakan adalah metode analisis regresi data panel dengan bantuan olah data melalui program EViews 9. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Random Effect Model sebagai model terbaik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel Pertumbuhan Ekonomi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kemiskinan, sedangkan variabel Upah Minimum Provinsi juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kemiskinan di Indonesia tahun 2017-2020. Persentase kontribusi pengaruh Pertumbuhan Ekonomi dan Upah Minimum Provinsi dalam menjelaskan variasi perubahan Tingkat Kemiskinan adalah sebesar 22,27 persen sedangkan sisanya sebesar 77,73 persen dipengaruhi oleh faktor/variabel lain yang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian ini. Dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan variabel Pertumbuhan Ekonomi dan Upah Minimum Provinsi dalam menjelaskan variasi perubahan Tingkat Kemiskinan hanya sebesar 22,27 persen, fakta ini menunjukkan perlunya dukungan dari berbagai aspek strategi pembangunan ekonomi nasional dan kebijakan yang tepat sasaran oleh pemerintah dalam upaya pengentasan kemiskinan di Indonesia.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of household income, education level of the head of the  household and number of family members on consumption patterns in OKU Regency. This research uses qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis methods. The results of the analysis show that simultaneously household income, education of the head of the household and number of family members have a significant effect on the non-food consumption patterns of the community in OKU Regency. However, partially, household income and education of the head of the household have a significant effect on the non-food consumption patterns of the community in OKU Regency

Abstract

                The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of international trade policies on the export sector. This research approach collects data through literature studies, which involve reading literature from various sources including books, journals and reports using qualitative and deductive approaches. The findings in this study are In international trade there are several policies that include tariffs, export subsidies, import authorities, local content requirements, government controls, and international trade agreements. In addition, there are impacts of international trade policies on the Indonesian export sector including international market access, protecting local industries, new market access, and quality standards.
