Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan CTL (contextual teaching and learning) pada siswa Kelas VIII.B MTs Negeri 1 Mare. Melalui pendekatan CTL (contextual teaching and learning), peningkatan keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi dapat dilihat secara proses maupun secara produk. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII.B MTs Negeri 1 Mare yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Objek penelitian ini adalah keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tahap perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Data diperoleh dari observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa dilihat dari batas pencapaian Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM), yaitu 75 dan menjadi bahan pertimbangan pelaksanaan siklus selanjutnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan CTL (contextual teaching and learning) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks eskplanasi pada siswa kelas VIII.B MTs Negeri 1 Mare, baik secara proses maupun secara produk. Peningkatan proses ditunjukkan dari sikap siswa, aktivitas siswa, dan suasana pembelajaran, yaitu siswa berpartisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi, siswa berani mengungkapkan pendapat saat berdiskusi, siswa dapat bekerja sama dengan baik dalam kelompok serta siswa dapat mengikuti dan memahami langkah-langkah pendekatan CTL (contextual teaching and learning) dengan baik. Peningkatan produk dapat dilihat dari hasil karya siswa. Pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata siswa 70,6 dengan keterangan siswa tuntas sebanyak 5 siswa atau 20% siswa. Selanjutnya, pada siklus II rata-rata nilai siswa meningkat menjadi 84,35 dengan keterangan siswa tuntas sebanyak 17 siswa atau 85% siswa.

Abstract

Placenta retention issues have complications that can endanger mothers after delivery because of theirstrong association with bleeding. This research aims to determine the risk factors for placental retention inmaternal. This research was an observational analytic study with a case-control design with a sample size of68 mothers. The research was conducted at the Tenriawaru Hospital in 2020. Data collection was carried outby interview using a questionnaire. Then it was analyzed using the chi-square test. The results of the researchfor the Age variable (p-value = 0.027) show that there is a relationship between age and the incidence ofplacental retention, with the OR value: 3.4 (CL: 1.26–9.41) and for the parity variable (p-value = 0.44) therewas no relationship between parity and the incidence of placental retention, with the OR value: 0.47 (CL:0.12–1.82). It can be concluded that of the two factors the incidence of placental retention including age andparity, only age is associated with the incidence of retained placenta.

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to know the influence of using poster learning media based on the scientific approach to the students’ cognitive ability, especially lessons of Islamic education in the fifth-grade students of SDI Raulo district in Parigi, Gowa Regency. This research used ex post facto type. The population of this research was the students of SDI Raulo, consisting of 17 students. The research results indicated that: (1) the average score of using poster learning media in SDI Roulo was still in the medium category, with an achievement maximum 84 and a minimum 68, (2) the average score of students’ cognitive ability of Islamic education lessons for the fifth grade in SDI Raulo were in a medium category with achievement maximum 87 and minimum 76, and (3) there was an influence of using poster learning media to students’ cognitive ability in Islamic Education lessons. The teachers should use learning media such as posters to interest students in learning Islamic education lessons.

Abstract

Abstract: The Effect of Discovery Learning Model on the Ability to Write Explanatory Texts for Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 11 Makassar. This study aimed to determine the effect of discovery learning model on the ability to write explanatory text students in class VII. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 11 Makassar. Researcher used the Pre-Experimental research method with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population of this research was all grade VII students of SMP Negeri 11 Makassar. This research was conducted in two stages of assessment, namely the initial test or before treatment and the final test or after treatment. Researcher conducted data collection using test and observation methods. The results showed that the ability to write explanatory texts before being given a treat obtained an average value of 69.5 or an incomplete percentage of 59%. After being given treatment by using the discovery learning model learning get an average value of 80.27 with a percentage of 78% that was complete. Improvement of students' writing skills after being given treatment by 78% which was previously 59%. In other words, there was the effect of discovery learning learning model on the ability to write explanatory text for grade VII students of SMP Negeri 11 Makassar.

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to describe the integration of character education values and the feasibility of learning materials for character education values in the thematic textbook theme VII, "Events in Life," for class V students. This study was qualitative with a discourse analysis research design. The data sources in this study were the 7th-theme "Events in Life" of the thematic textbook for class V students at MIS Muhammadiyah Gowa. The instruments used were interview guidelines and data cards. Data processing and analysis techniques were carried out in three stages: data condensation, data presentation, data verification and conclusion drawing. The results showed that there were 14 values of character education in the thematic book, religious character values, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creativity, democratic, curiosity, national spirit, love for the homeland, friendly/communicative, peace-loving, fond of reading, social care, and responsibility. Three main things were found, which indicated that the book has the feasibility to be studied by students, namely: (1) increasing faith and piety, (2) character and mastery of science and technology, and (3) increasing sensitivity and concern.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis etnomatematika pada siswa SMP Negeri 2 Meurah Mulia. Penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Meurah Mulia dan pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan random sampling kelas IX-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IX-2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Intrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes, lembar observasi dan wawancara. Pengujian hipotesis digunakan uji-t pihak kanan diperoleh = 4,2 dan = 1,6794 menunjukkan , sehingga tolak dan terima yang membuktikan bahwa ”Peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis etnomatematika lebih baik daripada peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa SMP Negeri 2 Meurah Mulia”.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peran guru PAI dalam pendampingan pembelajaran melalui metode kisah, penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif,pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi,adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI di satu kelas yang berjumlah 36 orang,dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari peran guru PAI dalam pendampingan pembelajaran melalui metode kisah sudah sangat baik siswa muda memahami materi yang diajarkan, siswa juga semangat mengikuti pembelajaran dengan metode seperti ini yang guru PAI lakukan, semoga dengan menggunakan metode kisah ini menjadikan peserta didik lebih senang belajar Agama.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan sebuah jenis penelitian pustaka. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur yang melibatkan analisis kualitatif terhadap berbagai sumber yang berkaitan dengan topik penelitian. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi buku, artikel, jurnal, dan dokumen yang membahas tentang kompetensi guru perspektif teori para pakar pendidikan dan secara yuridis sesuai dengan peraturan perundang undangan di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan kompetensi guru yang dijelaskan oleh para ahli secara teoretis dan juga kompetensi guru menurut undang-undang no 14 tahun 2005 tentang guru dan dosen meliputi kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, Kompetensi profesional dan kompetensi sosial. Seorang guru dikatakan profesional jika telah memiliki empat kompetensi tersebut pada dirinya.

Abstract

The subject matter of this research is about how the existence of professional teachers in accommodating schools at SDIT Azzahrah Gowa, Samata Village, Somba Opu District, Gowa Regency. This research aims to 1) Knowing the performance of professional teachers at SDIT Azzahrah Gowa, 2) Describe professional teachers accommodating schools in SDIT Azzahrah Gowa, and 3) Find the principal's policy in forming professional teachers in SDIT Azzahrah Gowa. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research that is contained in participant observation which produces data and information in the form of words or sentences that come from the object of observation, using a pedagogical and sociological approach that explains descriptively and has primary data sources and secondary data. Data collection methods are observation and interview methods. The data processing and analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and data verification and use triangulation techniques as a submission of data validity both technique, time and source triangulation. The results of the interviews showed that 1) The existence of professional teachers in schools is very helpful in improving the quality of education, because the principal conducts training related to professional teachers in schools and teachers show complete administration in learning, 2) The application of professional teachers carried out by teachers in schools is by fulfilling the tools of teaching needs, attendance, making academic calendars, working meetings with other teachers, and proven by attending trainings to improve professional teachers in accommodating schools, 3) Reporting the existence of professional teachers in accommodating schools is evidenced by the improved performance of teachers in making lesson plans, timely attendance to school, good information systems, teacher leadership shows good examples, and conducts evaluations in a timely manner. The implication of the research is that teachers should be professional in carrying out their duties as educators in order to be able to make a good contribution in accommodating schools and it is hoped that this research can be an input and reference for further research

Abstract

This study aims to find out the use of digital mind mapping through Mindomo application in enhancing students' writing skills focused on descriptive text in second grade at SMA Negeri 3 Teupah Selatan 2023/2024. The purposive sampling was used in this research which consists of 19 students. The instruments that is used to collect the data is pre-test and post-test. The result of the test shows that there is an increasing score of students from the pre-test to the post-test. The students' pre-test average score was 47.47 which were classified as poor grade, while the post-test score was higher than the pre-test average score of 78.15 which was categorized as an excelent category. Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that the accepted hypothesis states that the use of digital mind mapping through the Mindomo application enhanced students’ ability in writing a descriptive text. Digital mind mapping (Mindomo aplication) allows students to brainstorm ideas collectively. This can be particularly useful for students to compose a descriptive text. The digital mind mapping through the mindomo application can be chosen as one of the effective technology to use in teaching writing in order to enhance students' writing skills particularly in descriptive text.
