Abstract

Developing a young generation who cares about the environment is both a challenge and a necessity in the modern era. The Indonesian Laudato Si' movement is present as a concrete form of internalizing integral ecological values as stated in the encyclical Laudato Si' by Pope Francis. PkM aims to form a young generation of churches who have environmental awareness, provide a theological understanding of human responsibility towards the natural world, train the young generation to take an active role in environmental conservation, and instill Christian values in protecting and caring for the environment. The PkM method consists of preparation and coordination, socializing the Laudato Si' Movement, building ecological awareness, practicing waste management, cleaning the surrounding environment, and distributing questionnaires. Community service activities in an effort to develop young people who care about the environment through assessment through questionnaire results in the form of "knowing about the Laudato Si movement" by 52 (74.4%) participants, "strongly agree with the Laudato Si movement" by 60 (86.6%) participants, "agree with Laudato Si' as a Christian Leadership Guide for Environmental Sustainability" by 52 (73.6%) participants, "agree to develop a young generation of the Church who cares about the environment" by 53 (75.2%) participants, and "Agree with the implementation of the Laudato Si' Movement" by 54 (76.0%) participants. The leading suggestions that can be given based on the results of the highest scores in distributing questionnaires to participants as follow-up actions or real actions from Laudato Si' activities are "taking part in environmental activities" at 71.4% and "cleaning beaches and rivers" at 35.7%

Abstract

Indonesia needs new renewable energy as an alternative to fuel oil. The existence of organic waste is an opportunity to replace oil because it is renewable and contains relatively less air-polluting sulfur. Previous research that has been widely carried out still utilizes coconut shell raw materials, which are increasingly limited in number, so other alternative raw materials are needed. A model is needed to make a formulation that can optimize the composition of organic waste raw materials as a basic ingredient for making briquettes. The research objective was to determine the best raw material composition based on digital image analysis in processing organic waste into briquettes. An artificial intelligence approach with a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architecture can predict an effective object detection model. The image analysis results have shown an effective model in the raw material composition of 60% coconut, 20% wood, and 20% adhesive to produce quality biomass briquettes. Briquettes with a higher percentage of coconut will perform better in composition tests than mixed briquettes. The energy obtained from burning briquettes is useful for meeting household fuel needs and meeting micro, small, and medium business industries.

Abstract

Currently, Artificial Intelligence has penetrated almost every application and site on the Internet. This has had an impact on the world of education, business, etc. In addition to making it easier for humans to carry out their activities, this can also have negative effects if the response from the AI chatbot is inaccurate or even misleading. In this article, the author has conducted experiments on several free versions of popular chatbots, namely ChatGPT, Gemini (Bard), AI Chat and Aichatting. AI chatbots are very helpful in the field of general knowledge, finding solutions to problems and creating creations, such as fiction, or guiding the creation of scientific reports. Users must understand and be observant in using this chatbot because the response is very dependent on the input given. Questions that contain errors will get different responses. All responses given by the AI chatbot are suggestions, not something that must be followed absolutely. This is because the user is responsible for the consequences, not AI. AI has ethics in providing responses so that it will not produce negative answers or direct users to things that violate the rules. The factors that are the main measurements are speed, accuracy, completeness, understanding of questions, response variations, ability to handle input errors and ability to provide solutions. The four chatbots tested each have their own strengths and weaknesses, but there is one that has the most features and variations in its responses, namely Gemini (Bard).
