Abstract

Dogs are common animal that found as pets in Indonesia. Indonesia as a tropical country has a high humidity, where fungi and parasites easily to multiply on animal skin. The fungi and parasites are one of the causes of dog skin diseases. Worsely, dog skin diseases can be transmitted to other animals as well as humans. When dog skin diseases are not treated properly they can excruciate the dog condition, because it can lead to the emergence of other diseases simultaneously, and it can even bring the dog to death.The limitation informative tools in identifying dog skin diseases can cause retardationin handling the disease. In this work, we provide an expert system to identify the dog skin diseases and give suggestion as to how to handle it. The skin diseases in dogs have similar symptoms between each other. The degree of belief of the symptoms determines the disease identification.Hence, in order to accommodate the identification process, an expert system is built by using the certainty factor method.Based on the result,it is shown that the expert system is able to identify dog skin disease with 91.67% accuracy derived from the twelve tests. The tests were done by the appointed expert in this area.

Abstract

The cause of low yield of soybean in Indonesia, among others is a disease. To find out what disease that attacks soybean crops needed an expert in the field of agriculture. Disease that often impairs the soybean plant is rust. In addition to lowering the yield, rust disease also potentially lower the quality of soybean seeds. In addition to these there are many more diseases that are present in the soy plant. Expert system for soybean disease defines is one alternative to detect disease of soybean. The method used is rule based system and forward chaining method. The system will be made to provide an unbiased decision about the type of disease affecting soybean and handling. Web based system is built in order to spread information more accessible. Result of the application that have been tested by three expert crops by conducting interview and application testing performed eight times on each trial expert. Based on test result obtained from 24 experiments by expert is 22 times the experiment successfully identified soybean disease and two trials did not identify soybean disease. The trial result concluded the expert system can determine soybean disease based on symptoms in plant soybean.

Abstract

The low quality of the chocolate in Indonesia is because the cocoa plantations in Indonesia are always threatened by pests and plant diseases. Insect pest species whose numbers are greatest for cocoa crop in Indonesia for more than 130 species. This resulted in a lot of brown plants that could have been saved to die and decrease the quality of the chocolate. If this is allowed to continue, then it will impact on the level of productivity of the cocoa plant.Based on the above, the cocoa plantations requires an expert system which can provide information about diseases that attack plants brown and provide solutions to deal with the disease. This expert system application aims to help growers determine the type of chocolate for the disease being attacked by the brown plant disease symptoms are visible and also with the application of expert system, can generate solutions to deal with brown plants are diseased, so many chocolate plant are saved and it can increase production and also quality.Application of expert systems with rule-based system using forward chaining methods to help the cocoa plantations in order to know the type of disease that is attacking the brown plant based on the symptoms of the disease are seen.Keyword: Technology, forward chaining, Expert, Chocolate

Abstract

Human Resources is the most important thing to create a good work environment in a company, of course having reliable resources is the hope of every company. At PT Masmedia Buana Pustaka Sidoarjo the promotion was carried out manually by only paying attention to the tenure of an employee and with a simple annual performance appraisal, so that the decision making process was still not effective in making decisions. With that, we need a Decision Support System which will be useful for leaders in making decisions by adjusting the criteria and target values expected by the company. Then the application of the method applied is the Profile Matching algorithm. With this method, the user can find out the difference in competence between individual competencies and the competencies expected by the company. PT Masmedia Buana Pustaka Sidoarjo needs an application that is useful in helping make a decision on the placement of employees in a position. So that the results are obtained in the form of a report on the complete calculation of the profile matching algorithm up to the recommendation rating of prospective employees which can later be considered by HRD in the promotion selection process

Abstract

The development of computer network technology is currently growing exponentially along with the increasing users who make use of the computer network. In a computer network is addressing systems named IP address.Public IP address in use today is IPv4; The user who added the more led to exhaustion of IPv4 addresses are available on the internet. To overcome these problems developed types of IPv6. IPv4 can not directly linked with the IPv6 tunneling system is required to integrate both the IPS in a network of computers.In this final project will design a system of tunneling in a network of computers that use IPv6 as a server and client in which IPv6 data packet takes through the network IPv4 which is still existing and there occurs the process of Christianization engkapsulasian IP address, either peng-enkapsulasian IPv6 in IPv4 packet or vice versa.When using file-sharing whereby and the webserver by doing a test upload and download by the client. Abstract

Skin disease is a type of diseases that frequently infects pets especially cat. Cat that is infected the skin diseases, may initially looked fine. Based on interview with veterinarian who specializes in dogs and cats diseases, skin evaluation to the pets are considered to be very important. In some cases where skin diseases are not handled properly, it result in severe illness to the pets. Mostly veterinaries open up their practice only in big cities. Therefore most of the time, the cat owners are lazy to give proper treatment against the skin diseases that are suffered by their cats. Based on the problem above, it is neccessary to build an expert system that is able to support clinic and cat owners to diagnose the skin diseases of their pets. The certainty factor expert system will be used to detect every symptom that is suffered by cats. The new system will generate diagnosis of skin diseases for cats. The experiment results of this expert system indicate that the system is able to identify 91.6% accuracy of the type skin diseases. The result is obtained by the examination of 12 cats that suffer skin diseases in Moii Pet Care veterinary clinic.

Abstract

To be able master the abacus, it requires plenty of time and intensive training to master the operational of the abacus. Although in several schools and in institutions abacus course has been taught,  but it does guarantee to be able to master the abacus. Especially for someone who have not been taught the abacus in school and have not completed a course the abacus would have trouble even those who are not familiar with the abacus. To be master the abacus we must have books about how to learn the abacus and we must have a real abacus tool for exercise the abacus.One of solution is to be able master the abacus with developed application using smartphone technology based on android operating system can be used as a tool for daily exercise in order to familiarize with the abacus.in a series of trials that have been done, the abacus application can be running on some version of the android operating system such as Gingerbread, HoneyComb, Ice cream sandwich, Jelly bean and Kitkat. On this application there are two learning modules consisting of learning abacus and learning arithmetic using abacus. In addition to the learning modules, the application also features learning abacus and learn arithmetic operations.This application also provides exercises, on the features of this exercise consists of the exercises of arithmetic and a matter of exercise where users can perform exercises to hone his ability to learn the abacus.

Abstract

Chicken diseases often fear chicken farmers. In many cases, chicken diseases can reduce egg productivity of chickens. If there is one chicken affected and it doesn’t handle quickly and precisely, it indirectly can cause the other chickens affected as well that could potentially lead to death. On the other hand, there are limitation number of chicken veterinary in rural areas. Hence, the affected chickens cannot be handled as soon as possible. In this paper, we build an expert system with certainty factor method that is able to diagnose the chicken diseases computationally. Testing results shows that the expert system can identify chicken diseases with accuracy of 92,8%. The results were obtained by testing through 14 chickens that bear chicken diseases. Keywords: Expert System, Certainty Factor, Disease chicken
