Abstract

This study aims to improve social studies learning outcomes in the material of developed countries and developing countries by using the Cooperative Type Group Investigation (GI) learning model. This research began in August to November 2018, which was held in class IX of the first semester of SMP Negeri 1 Julok. The type of research is Class Action Research with two cycles, each cycle consisting of: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data collection techniques and tools in this study used descriptive analysis techniques for data in the form of student work documents, and observation sheets. Before the research was conducted the average score of students was only 62.29 with mastery learning from 24 students, only 9 students (37.50%) were complete. In the first cycle student learning outcomes began to increase by 72.29 with mastery learning as many as 16 students (66.67%) were completed. In the second cycle learning outcomes increased sharply to 82.50 with the number of students completing as many as 23 students (95.83%). Based on the achievement of learning outcomes it can be concluded that the use of the Cooperative Type Group Investigation (GI) learning model can improve social studies learning outcomes of material in developed and developing countries in class IX students of the first semester of State Junior High School 1, 2018-2019

Abstract

Tuberkulosis Paru merupakan penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh kuman Mycobacterium Tuberculosis dan Indonesia menduduki posisi ketiga terbesar didunia. Selain Paru tuberkulosis bisa juga menyerang organ tubuh lainnya. Penularan terjadi dari percikan dahak dan sering disebut air borne disease. Pengobatan TB Paru dilakukan selama 6 bulan atau lebih. Jika penderita menghentikan pengobatan maka harus mengulangi pengobatan intensif selama 2 bulan pertama. Pengobatan yang tidak teratur dapat menimbulkan kekebalan a kuman TB terhadap Obat Anti Tuberkulosis (OAT) atau Multi Drug Resistance. Berdasarkan Observasi dilapangan masih ditemui pola fikir masyarakat yang masih minim tentang kesehatan dan merasa malu dengan penyakit tuberkulosis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pemeriksaan Follow up Basil Tahan Asam (BTA) dengan lamanya pengobatan Tuberkulosis Paru di Puskesmas Bukit Timah. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional bersifat analitik. Penelitian dilakukan di Puskesmas Bukit Timah dengan jumlah sampel 30 sampel. Penelitian menggunakan uji chi square dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak komputer server computer IBM SPSS Statistics 24. Hasil analisis univariat ditemukan 1 orang (3,33%) +1, 1 orang (3,33%) Scanty dinyatakan gagal pengobatan Kategori I pindah pengobatan Kategori 2, 28 orang 93,33% dinyatakan berhasil pengobatan Kategori I.Analisis bivaria didapat koreksi koreksi (Fisher’s Exact Test) dengan nilai P Value Sig 0,002 < α 0,05 maka dapat diambil kesimpulan secara statistic bahwa Ho ditolak, artinya ada hubungan antara hasil pemeriksaan follow up mikroskopis basil tahan asam (BTA) dengan lamanya pengobatan tuberkulosis paru di Puskesmas Bukit Timah sehingga responden dengan hasil follow up mikroskopis basil tahan asam positif mempunyai resiko 0,071 kali lebih besar untuk masa pengobatan lebih dari 6 bulan atau gagal pengobatan kategori I dibandingkan dengan responden hasil follow up mikroskopis basil tahan asam negatif. Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan kepada puskesmas, kampus dan peneliti selanjutnya dapat memberi edukasi yang intensif , patuh mengikuti aturan minum obat secara benar , tuntas dan acuan pengetahuan terhadap hubungan pemeriksaan follow up mikroskopis BTA dengan lamanya pengobatan tuberculosis paru.

Abstract

Abstract: Improving Student's Speaking Ability IV SDN 190 Kotanopan With The Application Of Peer Tutor Learning Model. This study aims to determine whether the activity learning class IV SDN 190 Kotanopan Year Learning 2016/2017 increased after applying the model Tutor Sebaya. This research was conducted at SDN 190 Kotanopan, Kotanopan Sub-district, Mandailing Natal Regency. Sample in this research as much as I (one) class that is class IV as many as 23 people. Student learning outcomes by applying model Tutor Sebaya in Formative I and Formative II show the average value of 64.78 and 83.91 as well as the individual completeness 13 students and 21 students and the completeness of the class is 56.52% and 91.30% of the data show the complete individual in accordance with KKM Language Indonesia is 65, with 91.30% classical completeness.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Learning Activities, Peer Tutor.Abstrak: Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berbicara Siswa Kelas IV SDN 190 Kotanopan Dengan Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Tutor Sebaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah aktivitas belajar kelas IV SDN 190 Kotanopan Tahun Pembelajaran 2016/2017 mengalami peningkatan setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran Tutor Sebaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 190 Kotanopan, Kecamatan Kotanopan, Kabupaten Mandailing Natal. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak I (satu) kelas yaitu kelas IV sebanyak 23 orang. Hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Tutor Sebaya pada Formatif I dan Formatif II menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 64.78 dan 83.91 serta ketuntasan individu 13 siswa dan 21 siswa dan ketuntasan kelas adalah 56.52% dan 91.30% dari data tersebut menunjukkan tuntas individu sesuai dengan KKM Bahasa Indonesia yaitu 65, dengan ketuntasan klasikal 91.30%.Kata kunci : Hasil Belajar, Aktivitas belajar, Tutor Sebaya.

Abstract

This practicum aims to introduce and understand how inclined planes work as a type of simple machine that can make it easier for humans to move objects. In this activity, students conduct experiments by launching candles onto various inclined planes of varying lengths, but at the same height of 5 cm. The lengths used were 10 cm, 15 cm, 20 cm, and 25 cm. Each plane was tested to determine the time it took the candle to travel from top to bottom. The results showed that the longer the inclined plane, the longer it took for the candle to reach the bottom. This suggests that a gentler inclined plane will slow the movement of an object but reduce the effort or energy required. This practicum not only helps students understand physics concepts directly through observation and experimentation but also makes them aware of the usefulness of simple tools like inclined planes in everyday life, such as a support board when lifting objects to higher places. Through this practicum, students are trained to think critically and carefully, and to connect theory to reality.

Abstract

This study examines Islamic civilization in Sumatra, highlighting three main aspects: the history of the arrival of Islam, its progress, and the development of Islamic culture in the region. Islam first entered Sumatra through international trade routes around the 7th to 13th centuries CE, brought by Arab, Persian, and Indian traders who then interacted with the local population. The spread of Islam was accelerated by the role of Islamic kingdoms such as Samudra Pasai, Aceh Darussalam, and Minangkabau, which became centers for the development of Islamic da'wah and education. The progress of Islam in Sumatra is evident in the growth of religious institutions such as Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) and dayah (Islamic boarding schools), as well as the development of distinctive Islamic science, literature, and architecture. Local culture also experienced acculturation with Islamic values, reflected in customs, customary law, art, and language. This study confirms that Islamic civilization has had a significant influence on the identity and socio-cultural development of Sumatran society to this day.
