Abstract

Jagung (Zea Mays L) merupakan tanaman akumulator silika.  Penelitian bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh biosilika dari  abu sekam padi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan  Maret  sampai Juni 2021 di Kelurahan Air Kuti Kecamatan Lubuklinggau Timur I Kota Lubuklinggau dengan ketinggian tempat 103 meter diatas permukaan laut (mdpl), menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK). Biosilika  yang  dicobakan: 0 ton/ha,  0,25 ton/ha, 0,50 ton/ha, 0,75 ton/ ha, 1 ton/ha, 1,25 ton/ ha.   Pengamatan berupa: tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, diameter tongkol, panjang tongkol tanpa kelobot, berat tongkol tanpa kelobot, dan  hasil tanaman  per hektar.  Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis keragaman (Anova). Pemberian biosilika dalam bentuk abu mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil per hektar tanaman jagung.  Biosilika sebanyak 0,75 sampai 1,25 ton/ha, meningkatkan berat tongkol tanpa kelobot 14,92%, dan hasil tanaman jagung  0,9 - 1,59 ton/ha atau 8,29 - 14,64%.

Abstract

Currently, the IEEE 802.11 standard protocol is prone to interference. Therefore, a strategy is needed to reduce or avoid intervention. Using the Nv2 Protocol at the 5 GHz frequency with bridge mode on the Point to Multipoint Network (PTMP) can be used as a solution to avoid interference. The method in this screening begins with a location survey then continues with needs analysis, topology design, network installation, network configuration and at the final stage testing is carried out. The results of the study showed that the connection between the two clients resulted in ping with a 0% loss package and the results were very good. The signal strength from the AP Bridge side to client 1 is -63 Db to client 2 is -54 Db. AP Client 1 with a Signal Strength of -63/-62dBm, Tx/Rx CCQ 9/18%. AP Client 2 with Signal Strength -54/-56 dBm, Tx/Rx CCQ 40/35%.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out the effect of shotpeening particle variations on the microstructure, tensile strength, and impact strength of friction stir welding (FSW) joints. In the weld metal area after the material is subjected to friction stir welding (FSW), the material will experience softening and a decrease in mechanical properties compared to the raw material. The shotpeening process on the weld metal surface is expected to improve mechanical properties, because the weld metal surface will experience repeated pressure from the shotpeening particles as a forging effect. Friction welding (FSW) is carried out on materials made of 6061 aluminum alloy and the material has a thickness of 3 mm, with butt joint welding. The friction welding process uses an Aciera brand milling machine, the feeding speed on the machine is set to 18 mm / minute and the spindle rotation is 910 rpm. Shotpeening particles use steel ball and aluminum oxide, namely S 230, Al 24, Al 54. The results of microstructure testing show that the forging effect of shotpeening causes deformation in the surface layer to a depth of 700 µm. The results of tensile testing on FSW joints with variations in shotpeening particles: S 230, Al 24, Al 54 show the optimum tensile strength in shotpeening with Al 54 particles of 208 MPa, and the results of impact testing show the optimum impact price in shot peening with S 230 particles of 0.57 J / mm2.

Abstract

Red onions are a horticultural commodity that has high economic value. However, currently, red onion production often experiences a decline which can be caused by the low level of land fertility on ultisol soil. This study aims to analyze the vermicompost and NPK fertilizers in increasing the production of shallots on ultisol soil. The research was conducted in Muara Beliti Village, Musi Rawas Regency using the Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK). The treatments tested were vermicompost K1 = 15 tons/ha, K2 = 25 tons/ha and K3 = 35 tons/ha. NPK fertilizer: N1 = 150 kg/ha, N2 = 200 kg/ha and N3 = 250 kg/ha. The results of the study showed that the application of vermicompost fertilizer with a dose of 15 tons/ha and NPK fertilizer with a dose of 150 kg/ha was able to increase the growth rate of plant height, increase the number of leaves and tuber diameter and had a very significant effect on the weight per tuber

Abstract

Covid-19 has become a global pandemic in the 21st century. Various efforts to control its spread have been made. Isolation or regional quarantine is one of the efforts made by almost all countries in the world. Indonesia modified the lockdown by implementing 'Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB)'. Before and during the implementation of PSBB, there have been many pros and cons in the community. By using the SIR model and Euler method, the impact before and after the implementation of PSBB in Pekanbaru city is compared. Based on daily data of Covid-19 cases in Pekanbaru city, it is obtained that the value of the basic reproduction number before and after the implementation of PSBB are  and  respectivel.  This condition confirms that either without or by implementing PSBB, Pekanbaru city will be free from Covid-19. Simulation of Covid-19 cases before and after PSBB graphically also shows a situation that will be free from disease. However, without implementing PSBB, the number of infected will jump drastically after some time even though it will eventually decrease, while by implementing PSBB there is no spike. Thus, the implementation of PSBB can be an alternative to control Covid-19. Keywords: Basic reproduction number, Covid-19, PSBB, SIR model, Euler methods.

Abstract

Islamic educational institutions are known as the oldest educational institutions in Indonesia, however, in terms of quality and managerial aspects, Islamic educational institutions are still second. This cannot be separated from the many challenges and problems of poor management that exist in some Islamic educational institutions. This article aims to examine the problem of implementing management in Islamic educational institutions. The method used in this article is a literature study by reviewing several literatures related to the theme that the author will study. The results show that one of the management problems in Islamic education institutions is the lack of Islamic education managers in meeting the needs and expectations of stakeholders, then there are still authoritarian and centralized leadership practices that apply in some Islamic education institutions, the existence of a dichotomy in Islamic education institutions which causes the emergence of two groups of scientists, the lack of competent human resources, especially in managerial aspects and the strength of several Islamic educational institutions in maintaining their local wisdom values, so this also has an impact on the reluctance of Islamic education to innovate in line with current developments. ABSTRAK Lembaga pendidikan Islam dikenal sebagai lembaga pendidikan tertua di Indonesia, akan tetapi dalam aspek kualitas dan manajerialnya lembaga pendidikan Islam masih di nomor duakan. Hal ini tidak lepas dari banyaknya tantangan dan problematika kurang baiknya manajerial yang ada di sebagian lembaga pendidikan Islam. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji problem penerapan manajemen di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah studi literatur dengan mengkaji beberapa literatur-literatur yang berkaitan dengan tema yang akan dikaji penulis. Adapun hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa salah satu problem manajemen di lembaga pendidikan Islam adalah kurangnya para pengelola pendidikan Islam dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dan harapan stakeholder, kemudian masih adanya praktek kepemimpinan otoriter dan sentralistik yang berlaku di sebagian lembaga pendidikan Islam, adanya dikotomi dalam lembaga pendidikan Islam yang menyebabkan timbulnya dua pengelompokan ke ilmuan, masih minimnya SDM yang berkompenten terutama dalam aspek manajerialnya dan masih kuatnya beberapa lembaga pendidikan Islam dalam menjaga nilainilai kearifan lokalnya, sehingga hal itu juga berdampak kepada enggannya pendidikan Islam untuk berinovasi sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman.
