Abstract

The aims of this research were to determine gonadal development stage and fecundity of fish inhabited the swamp pond of Bangkau Lake. Fish sampling was conducted in October 2012 (the peak dry season) in the three units of swamp pond. The number of fish that analyzed was by 30 specimens from each species. The range of gonadal development stage of female fish that found in swamp ponds was II-V; where the most specimens were mature (stage IV-V). Fecundity of fish ranged from 8,994-17,988 eggs (striped snakehead); 8,667-17,104 eggs (snakehead); 2,648-14,566 eggs (climbing perch); 4,635-10,594 eggs (snakeskin gourami); and 1,324-2,648 eggs (three spot gourami). Abstrak Penelitian bertujuan menentukan tingkat kematangan gonad dan fekunditas ikan penghuni kolam rawa di rawa Danau Bangkau. Pengambilan sampel ikan dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2012 (puncak musim kemarau) di tiga unit kolam dengan metode sampling. Jumlah ikan contoh yang dianalisis sebanyak 30 ekor setiap jenis. Tingkat kematangan gonad ikan betina yang tertangkap di kolam rawa berkisar pada tingkat II-V. Sebagian besar ikan yang tertangkap di kolam rawa berada pada kondisi matang gonad (TKG IV-V). Fekunditas ikan yang matang gonad menunjukkan kisaran 8.99417.988 telur (gabus), 8.667-17.104 telur (toman), 2.648-14.566 telur (betok), 4.635-10.594 telur (sepat siam), dan 1.3242.648 telur (sepat rawa).

Abstract

The aim of research is to know the efective level of chicken feces dosage for tubificidian culture. The simple random sampling on three levels dosage of chichenfeces (ratio of chicken feces and soil) with three replication each was used in theresearch. The level dosage C (30 g/2500 g) has give the faster growth of tubificidian compared with level dosage A (10 g/2500 g) and level dosage B (20 g/2500 g).

Abstract

Adding effect of vitamin C and extracts temulawak on this research aims to determine the effect of vitamin C on the feed premixes. The addition of ginger aims to increase appetite post of papuyu fish larvae and post larvae growth of papuyu fish reared in hapa. The usefulness of this research is to gain a level optimization of the use of vitamin C and extracts of ginger in immune papuyu post-larval fish, so we get a superior seed.From the research results that the addition of vitamin C and ginger did not affect growth, but significant effect on survival and feed conversion papuyu post-larval fish. Value retention of protein and good fats in treatment B (addition of vitamin C to commercial feed). The range of water quality in the research is still in a good range and allow the fish to live flowers papuyu.

Abstract

The aim of the research was to determine the effect of different larvae stocking density onthe growth of fish catfish cultivated in cage net. A completely randomized design wasused in this study with, 3 treatments and 3 replications. The results of this study indicate that catfish (Clarias sp) in the treatment of A (stocking density 20 larvae/m2 ) has agrowth weight, the relative lengths and feed conversion is better than treatment B (stocking density of 40 larva / m2 ) and C ( stocking density of 60 larva / m2 ). But the survival rate of the treatment A and B have better than treatment C. The results of waterquality measurement (temperature , DO, pH , NH3 and CO2 ) are still within the rangethat can be tolerated by Sangkuriang catfish (Clarias sp).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gulma air air (kiambang, kayu apu dan eceng gondok) yang di tambahkan probiotik terhadap pertumbuhan dan survival rate ikan papuyu (Anabas testudineus Bloch). Penelitian menggunakan rancangan Acak lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Jumlah ikan yang digunakan sebanyak 225 ekor.Perlakuan A (Eceng gondok yang di fermentasidenganAsfergillussp+ bahan yang lainnya), perlakuan B (Kiambang yang di fermentasidenganAsfergillussp+ bahan yang lainnya). Perlakuan C (KayuApu yang di fermentasidenganAsfergillussp+ bahan yang lainnya) dan perlakuan D (pakan komersial) Data yang diperoleh dianalisis ragam dan bila terdapat pengaruh nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji wilayah ganda Duncan. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini meliputi; pertumbuhan berat dan panjang relatif, survival rate, rasio konversi pakan dan parameter kualitas air (pH, DO, NH3 dan suhu). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan penambahan JamurAsfergillussp padapakan yang berbasis gulma air (Enceng gondok, Kiambang danKayuapu) menghasilkan pertumbuhan berat, konversi pakan serta survival rate ikan lelesangkuriangyang tidak berbeda nyata dengan pakan komersil.

Abstract

Sungai Jaing merupakan salah anak Sungai Tabalong yang memiliki manfaat sebagai sumber air baku PDAM bagi masyarakat Kabupaten Tabalong dan habitat untuk budidaya ikan. Di sisi lain, Sungai Jaing juga menerima beban limbah dari berbagai aktifitas rumah tangga, industri dan pertanian/perkebunan. Hasil pantau Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Tabalong tahun 2018 - 2020, terdapat kecenderungan penurunan kualitas air Sungai Jaing yang disinyalemen karena meningkatnya beban pencemaran air. Pengukuran kualitas air dan debit aliran dilakukan pada Februari 2020 dan Oktober 2020 di segmen hulu, tengah, dan hilir badan Sugai Jaing. Hasil perhitungan indeks pencemaran (IP) pada pengukuran Februari 2020 pada ketiga segmen sungai menunjukkan kondisi cemar sedang dengan IP = 5,732 – 7,300 (6,608±0,58). Parameter yang memberi kontribusi besar pada nilai IP adalah DO, Cu, Sulfida, Fenol, Fe, Zn, Detergen dan BOD. Hasil perhitungan IP pada pengukuran Oktober 2020 memperlihatkan seluruh segmen sungai berada pada kondisi cemar ringan dengan IP = 2,694 – 3,378 (3,106 ±0,36). Parameter yang memberi kontribusi besar pada IP adalah Fosfat, BOD, COD, Fe, Cd, detergent, E.Coli dan Coliform. Cu, Fe, dan Zn adalah parameter logam yang memiliki kecenderungan melampaui daya tampung beban pencemaran air. Parameter DO melampaui daya tampung beban pencemaran air di semua lokasi pengukuran dan BOD pada lokasi pengukuran segmen hilir. Parameter BOD dan COD cenderung menunjukkan penurunan DTBPA pada bagian hulu dan hilir, sedangkan parameter DO terdapat kecenderungan penurunan nilai DTBPA pada segmen tengah. Nilai IP dan DBPA lebih buruk pada periode pengukuran Oktober 2020 dibandingkan hasil pengukuran bulan Februari 2020 The Jaing stream is a tributary of the Tabalong River which has benefits as a source for Clean Water Plant of Local Company (PDAM) Tabalong Regency and a habitat for fish farming. On the other hand, the Jaing River also receives a load of waste from the various household, industrial and agricultural/plantation activities. The results of monitoring the DLH Tabalong in 2018 - 2020, there is a tendency to decrease the water quality, which is caused by the increasing load pollution capacity. Measurement of water quality and the flow rate was carried out in February 2020 and October 2020 include the upstream, middle, and downstream segments of the Sugai Jaing watershed. The results of the pollution index (IP) in February 2020 measurements in the three river segments showed moderately polluted conditions with IP = 5.732 – 7,300 (6.608±0.58). The greatly contributed parameters to the IP value were DO, Cu, Sulfide, Phenol, Fe, Zn, Detergent, and BOD. The results of IP calculations in October 2020 show that all river segments are in a lightly polluted condition with IP = 2.694 – 3.378 (3.106 ± 0.36). The greatly contributed parameters to IP were Phosphate, BOD, COD, Fe, Cd, detergent, E.Coli, and Coliform. Cu, Fe, and Zn are metal parameters that have a tendency to exceed the water pollution load capacity. The DO parameter exceeds the water pollution load capacity at all measurement locations and BOD at the downstream segment measurement locations. The BOD and COD parameters tend to show a decrease in pollution load capacity (PLC) in the upstream and downstream sections, while the DO parameter has a tendency to decrease in the middle segment. The IP and PLC values ​​were worse in the October 2020 measurement period than the February 2020 measurement results

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pertumbuhan dan sintasan larva ikan papuyu (Anabas testudineus Bloch) dengan pemberian Artemia sp dan Daphnia sp bersuplemen Viterna dan mengetahui pakan alami bersuplemen terbaik untuk dijadikan pakan larva papuyu. Larva ikan papuyu dipelihara selama 34 hari. Rancangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan antara lain A (Daphnia sp non suplemen), B (Artemia sp non suplemen), C (Daphnia sp bersuplemen), D (Artemia sp bersuplemen). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian Artemia sp dan Daphnia sp bersuplemen berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan panjang dan berat relatif, dan sintasan larva papuyu. Perlakuan terbaik untuk panjang relatif, yakni C (266,67%) yang diikuti D (254,94%), berat relatif pada perlakuan D (187,78%) dan sintasan pada perlakuan D (77%) dan C (70%). Sedangkan kualitas air media pemeliharaan, yakni suhu 25 -27,4 oC, DO 2,01-3,10 mg/L, pH 6,3 – 7,9, dan amoniak (NH3) 0,15 – 0,26 mg/L masih dalam kisaran yang baik untuk kehidupan papuyu. This study aimed to study the growth and survival of climbing perch (Anabas testudineus Bloch) larvae with Artemia sp and Daphnia sp supplemented with Viterna and to find out the best natural food supplemented to be used as feed for climbing perch larvae. Climbing perch fish larvae were reared for 34 days. The design used in this study was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments used included A (Daphnia sp non-supplemented), B (Artemia sp non-supplemented), C (Daphnia sp supplemented), D (Artemia sp supplemented). The results of this study showed that the supplementation of Artemia sp and Daphnia sp had a significant effect on the growth of relative length and weight, and the survival of climbing perch larvae. The best treatment for relative length, namely C (266.67%) followed by D (254.94%), relative weight in treatment D (187.78%) and survival in treatment D (77%) and C (70%) . While the water quality of the maintenance media, namely the temperature 25 -27.4 oC, DO 2.01-3.10 mg/L, pH 6.3 - 7.9, and ammonia (NH3) 0.15 - 0.26 mg/L is still in a good range for climbing perch's life.

Abstract

Batakan Village, Panyipatan District, Tanah Laut Regency is one of the villages in South Kalimantan, which in addition to having natural tourism potential is also a fishing village. This study aims to analyze the impact of solid waste management on batakan beach water quality. Sampling at the location is taken by means of instantaneous sampling (grab sample). A misguided sample or grab sample is a sample taken directly from a body of water that is on the beach. The water quality sampling procedure uses the surface water sampling method in accordance with SNI 6989.57:2008, at the sampling point locations that have been determined purposively. Research parameters in the form of physics, namely temperature and brightness. Chemistry in the form of pH, Do, salinity, TSS, COD and BOD. Based on the results of water quality measurements obtained several parameters that meet the water quality standards for marine biota, namely the research parameters in the form of physics, namely temperature and brightness. Chemistry in the form of pH, DO, salinity, COD and BOD. Meanwhile, TSS does not meet the standards of the Decree of the State Minister of the Environment No. 51 in 2004.

Abstract

Culture media as a place for the maintenance of silk worms greatly affects the growth and nutritional content of silk worms. The purpose of this study was to analyze the interaction effect of the composition of culture media with a dose of EM4 on population growth, biomass and nutritional content of silk worms (Tubifex sp). This study used a completely randomized factorial design with 9 treatments and 3 replications each. Treatment D1M1, treatment D1M2, treatment D1M3, treatment D2M1, treatment D2M2, treatment D2M3, treatment D3M1, treatment D3M2 and treatment D3M3. Each treatment was kept in 27 trays. The resu its showed that the composition of the media material and the dose of EM4 had a very significant effect (P< 0.05) on population growth and biomass and nutritional content of silk worms. The highest average population and biomass growth was obtained in the D2M2 treatment, which was 27482.9 ind/m2 and 8.52 grams, and the best nutrient content was in the D3M3 treatment with a protein content of 50.88. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the combination of media materials with a percentage of 50% azolla pinnata and 50% chicken manure can increase the population, biomass and nutritional content of silk worms.
