Abstract

Background: Bacterial vaginosis is commonly experienced by women of reproductive age. The Nugent score is the gold standard for diagnosing bacterial vaginosis. Prebiotic Glucomannan hydrolysates (GMH) as a therapy in the treatment of bacterial vaginosis and has an immunomodulatory effect on the immune system and provides cellular immunity. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of GMH and BV Gel on Nugent scores, Treg cell presentation, and TGF ? levels in bacterial vaginosis of women of childbearing age.Subjects and Method: This was an experimental study. A sample of 24 women aged 20 to 45 years old with bacterial vaginosis (Nugent score ?7) was divided into 4 groups: oral antibiotic group metronidazole (500mg), combination of GMH (300mg) and metronidazole, 5 ml BV Gel tube, and combination of GMH and BV Gel scores. The dependent variables were GMH and BV Gel administrations. The independent variables Nugent score, Treg presentation, and TGF-? level. Nugent score, Treg cell presentation, and TGF ? level were measured on day-0, day-11, and day-22. The data were analyzed by one way Anova. Results: The results of the analysis after treatment on day 22 showed that the GMH and BV gel were able to reduce Nugent scores, increase Treg cell presentation and TGF ? levels in bacterial vaginosis of women of childbearing age. Conclusion: GMH as an alternative therapy for bacterial vaginosis compared with antibiotic treatment can improve normal vaginal flora and stimulate the immune system in vitro and in vivo significantly. Keywords: Glucomannan Hydrolysates, BV Gel, Nugent sel Treg score, TGF ?Correspondence:Ambar Dwi Retnoningrum. Abstract

Stunting dipengaruhi oleh panjang badan lahir (OR=2.47; CI 95%=1.21 hingga 3.72; p=<0.000), pemberian ASI (OR=1.78; CI 95%=0.52 hingga 3.04; p=0.006), jumlah keluarga (OR=2.31; CI 95%=1.69 hingga 2.93; p=<0.000), dan pendapatan keluarga (OR=2.16; CI 95%=0.95 hingga 3.37; p=0.011).

Abstract

This research uses quasi experiment post test only design. The study used consecutive sampling. The independent variable Method (Stimulation Endorphin,Oxytosin and Sugestive), dependent variable Smoothness of breast milk and Uteric Involution. data collection using observation sheets. The study population and sample were 30 respondents with purposive sampling technique. The results of the study of 30 respondents, 15 respondents were not given speos method therapy almost all respondents, namely 13 respondents not producing smooth milk (86.6%) and 10 respondents were abnormal Uterus (66.67%), while 15 respondents were given Method (Stimulation endorphin, oxytocin and suggestive) almost All respondents, 14 respondents, were producing breast milk smoothly (93.3%). T-test results obtained pvalue = 0,000 ≤ α = (0.05), so that Ha is accepted. There is an influence of Method (Stimulation endorphin, oxytocin and suggestive) to increase milk production and involution of the uterus in post partum
