Abstract

Background: The spread of Covid-19 during a pandemic is a problem that is of the utmost concern. One of the activities that are at risk of being infected with Covid-19 is going out of the house and visiting health facilities which are the most frequently done. One of the groups who are susceptible to disease are children. Many diseases that often occur in children, including diarrhea. When a child has diarrhea, mother will take the child to a health facility, even though there are the prone place to Covid-19 transmission. Therefore, there is a need for socialization about mother’s vigilance of diarrhea in children at home, so that mothers can make the best decisions for their children. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Mother's Smart Card, which is a simplification of the MTBS book, on maternal vigilance in the management of children with diarrhea in the pre-hospital phase. Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pre and post-test approach with purposive sampling technique on 30 mothers. Mother's vigilance is measured by the way the mother behaves and the mother's accuracy in making decisions when the child has diarrhea. The measurement uses a questionnaire Results: The results of data analysis using paired t-test showed that there was a significant effect of the Mother's Smart Card on maternal alertness in the management of children with diarrhea at home with a p value of 0.000. Conclusion: This means that the Mother's Smart Card can increase mother's vigilance in the management of pre-hospital child diarrhea. With this result, it is hoped that the Smart Mother Card can be a reference in increasing mother’s vigilance, and minimizing treatment at inappropriate health facilities that can put the risk of Covid-19 transmission at risk.

Abstract

ABSTRAKDemam merupakan kondisi yang sering dijumpai pada anak-anak dengan prevalensi sebesar 30% dari total kunjungan ke dokter. Permasalahannya tidak semua orang tua mengetahui cara penanganan dan pengambilan keputusan perawatan anak yang dibutuhkan saat kondisi demam, membuat orang tua menjadi cemas, dan memungkinkan membuat keputusan yang salah untuk mengatasi demam pada anak. Kegiatan pelatihanan penanganan anak demam fase Pre Hospital dilaksanakan pada 30 warga Kelurahan Marga Rahayu, Kota Lubuklinggau, pada bulan November tahun 2021, dengan metode demonstrasi dan praktik yang bertujuan agar para partisipan memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan melakukan penanganan kasus anak demam di rumah. Hasilnya terdapat peningkatan rata-rata pengetahuan dan skil orang tua sebelum pelatihan sebesar 48.27 dan sesudah mengikuti pelatihan meningkat menjadi 78.67, kesimpulannya pelatihan penanganan anak demam fase pre hospital efektif dalam meningkatkan pengatahuan orang tua dalam penanganan anak demam fase pre hospital. Kata Kunci: anak demam; pertolongan pertama; pre-hospital ABSTRACTFever is a condition often found in children, with a prevalence of 30% of total visits to the doctor. The problem is that not all parents know how to handle and make decisions about child care when they have a fever. These Program Training activities were carried out for 30 residents of Marga Rahayu District, Lubuklinggau City, in November 2021, with demonstration and practice methods aimed at making the participants have the knowledge and skills to handle cases of children with fever at home. The result is an increase in parents' knowledge and skills before (48.27) and after attending the training become 78.67. Abstract

ABSTRAKKasus kecelakaan kerja di bidang pembangunan menjadi jumlah terbanyak kasus kecelakaan kerja dengan perdarahan menjadi hal yang hampir pasti terjadi. Penanganan pre-hospital kasus perdarahan menjadi penting dikarenakan tenaga medis tidak selalu ada di lokasi kejadian. Pemberdayaan pekerja itu sendiri yang bisa dilakukan untuk menjadi penolong pertama pada sistem pre-hospital ini. Tujuan utama dari program ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan perkerja bangunan dalam penatalaksanaan kasus perdarahan di fase pre-hospital. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode pendidikan dan pelatihan agar partisipan memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan melakukan pertolongan pada kasus perdaraahan. Tujuan lebih umumnya program ini adalah terbentuknya dasar Safe Community dengan melibatkan masyarakat sebagai pelaksana dan pengguna. Hasil program ini menunjukan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan partisipan tentang penatalaksanaan korban perdarahan di fase pre-hospital di kelurahan Lubuk Tanjung Kota Lubuklinggau. Kata Kunci: perdarahan; pertolongan pertama; kecelakaan kerja ABSTRACTCases of work accidents in the construction sector are the largest number of work accident cases, with bleeding being an almost certain thing to happen. Pre-hospital management of bleeding cases is important because medical personnel is only sometimes at the scene. Empowering workers themselves can be done to become the first helpers in this pre-hospital system. This program's main objective is to increase construction workers' knowledge and skills in managing bleeding cases in the pre-hospital phase. This activity is carried out using education and training methods so that participants have the knowledge and skills to help in cases of bleeding. The more general aim of this program is to form a basic Safe Community by involving the community as executors and users. Abstract

Most of the elderly have arthritis pain. One of the non-pharmacological treatments for arthritis is hypnotherapy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of hypnotherapy on the reduction of arthritis pain in Budi Luhur and Budi Mulia Harapan Kita Nurseries and Saturday Studies, Triwikaton Village, South Sumatra Province. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study without control group design. The sample used was a total sampling of 30 people. Arthritis pain was assessed from the results of the pre test and post test. The results of the Wilcoxon signed rank test showed that the initial and late arthritis pain in the group had a significant difference (p = 0,000). Statistically there was effectiveness of hypnotherapy on the reduction of arthritis pain in the elderly.
