Abstract

Indonesia as a country with a diversity of religions provides part of a strong guideline in the society. The purpose of this study is to describe the management of impressions in inter-religious communication in Sorong, West Papua. The approach of research uses a phenomenology of descriptive-qualitative type with the perspective of dramaturgy theory. Moreover, the data were collected through interviews with religious leaders of Papua, while the observations were made to understand the situation of social interaction in society as well as documentation related to research themes. Furthermore, the data analysis is by grouping information, making categories, and producing findings. Meanwhile, the results of this study will describe that the process of managing impressions in interreligious communication in the Sorong, West Papua is the appearance of stage impressions, appearances, and behavioral styles. Stage impression management is done externally and internally. In addition, the external stage performance was carried out through the Religious Communication Forum (FKUB/Forum Komunikasi Umat Beragama) meeting, while the internal stage was held in a meeting at a place of worship. As for the appearance and style of behavior based on local Papuan customs by the traditional guidelines and religious teachings adopted. Therefore, the overall management of impressions by religious communities as a social capital that could minimize horizontal conflict in the name of religion

Abstract

Ammonia is an inorganic compound that is widely used as a basic raw material for fertilizers, if the ammonia level exceeds the quality standard limit, it can cause irritation to the respiratory tract. In addition, if exposed to the environment, it can cause damage. The purpose of this study is to determine the Utilization of Fly Ash as an Ammonia Adsorbent in PT. Sriwidjaja Palembang Fertilizer. This research method is by conducting field observations. Field observation by directly observing the object being studied. The results of this study were obtained from the analysis that fly ash can reduce ammonia concentration by 59.46% from a concentration of 477.448 mg/L to 193.56 mg/L with a contact time of 60 minutes and an activator condensation of 0.5N

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that affects children's physical growth and cognitive development. Stunting prevention efforts at the village level through the Posyandu programme are one of the effective strategies in reducing stunting rates in Indonesia. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Posyandu mentoring in improving mothers' understanding of balanced nutrition and stunting prevention. This study uses the method ofCommunity Engagement Research (PKM) with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The research informants consisted of Posyandu cadres, health workers, mothers of children under five, and village heads involved in the programme. Data analysis was conducted thematically with an inductive approach to identify patterns and the effectiveness of the interventions provided.The results showed that Posyandu assistance increased the understanding of mothers under five on the importance of balanced nutrition, from 15% before the programme to 85% after the programme. Success factors include the increased capacity of Posyandu cadres, student involvement as facilitators, and village government support in providing resources. However, challenges are still found, such as low participation of mothers of children under five and limited health workers.

Abstract

Peningkatan kebutuhan akses internet yang stabil dan terkelola di lingkungan kampus mendorong perlunya sistem autentikasi terpusat yang efisien. Penelitian ini mengimplementasikan integrasi FreeRADIUS, MySQL, dan MikroTik untuk membangun sistem manajemen hotspot berbasis role dengan alokasi bandwidth berbeda untuk setiap kategori pengguna (pejabat: 15 Mbps, dosen/tendik: 10 Mbps, mahasiswa: 5 Mbps). Metode penelitian meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan arsitektur terpusat, dan pengujian fungsional dengan pendekatan black-box dan white-box testing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sistem berhasil mencapai: (1) autentikasi terpusat dengan keberhasilan login 98.2% pada 500 pengguna bersamaan, (2) alokasi bandwidth akurat dengan deviasi ≤3%, (3) kompatibilitas sempurna di berbagai platform (Windows, macOS, Android, Linux), dan (4) pengurangan 75% beban administratif. Sistem ini juga mencatat latensi 320 ms, packet loss 0.02%, dan uptime 99.95%. Temuan penelitian mengungkap keunggulan utama dalam skalabilitas dan efisiensi, meski masih perlu pengembangan di aspek keamanan (migrasi SHA-256) dan antarmuka manajemen. Implementasi ini terbukti efektif mendigitalisasi layanan jaringan kampus sekaligus menyediakan model yang dapat diadopsi institusi pendidikan lain.

Abstract

Layanan kesehatan saat ini berkembang menuju layanan yang bersifat naturalis dan herbalis. Minat masyarakat terhadap layanan kesehatan yang berasal dari pengobatan timur semakin meningkat, termasuk di dalamnya adalah Bekam. Bagi perawat, bekam merupakan bagian dari keperawatan holistik yang telah masuk dalam standar intervensi keperawatan. Sasaran layanan bekam adalah para lansia yang mengeluh keluhan nonspesifik seiring dengan proses degeneratif pada usia lanjut. Suryanda (2025) melaporkan bahwa penerapan bekam dalam asuhan keperawatan pada klien hipertensi memberikan rasa nyaman dan mengurangi keluhan nyeri leher pada klien. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pelayanan langsung kepada masyarakat (anggota Pondok Pesantren Asy Syifa Baturaja) yang membutuhkan layanan terapi bekam. Kegiatan berupa penyuluhan tentang penyakit pada lansia serta manfaat dan kontraindikasi bekam. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun anggaran 2019. Hasil terapi bekam cukup efektif pada pasien dengan tekanan darah tinggi.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and ChatGPT into Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as a response to the demands of 21st century learning. Using a qualitative library research approach, data were gathered from books, journal articles, and other scholarly sources, and analyzed through descriptive and interpretive methods. The findings show that AI, particularly ChatGPT, can strengthen students’ understanding of Qur’an, Hadith, Fiqh, and Akhlak, while also promoting greater engagement, motivation, and critical thinking. The adaptive and interactive nature of AI encourages active participation, supports personalized learning, and facilitates the internalization of Islamic values when guided by educators. These results suggest that AI-based media have considerable potential to enhance the quality of PAI instruction by bridging technological innovation with value-based education. The study concludes that AI can serve as an effective and innovative complement to traditional teaching methods, offering both pedagogical benefits and practical insights for the advancement of Islamic education.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of multicultural communication in inclusive learning in schools with cultural diversity. The approach used is qualitative with a case study method, where data is obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The main informants in this study include teachers, principals, and students from several inclusive primary schools. The main objectives of this research are to understand how multicultural communication strategies are implemented in the context of inclusive learning, identify the challenges faced, and evaluate the effectiveness of the approach in creating a harmonious and inclusive learning environment. The results show that teachers in inclusive schools have implemented various communication strategies to accommodate students' cultural diversity. These strategies include the use of language that is easily understood by all students, the integration of teaching materials that reflect various cultures, and the application of participatory teaching methods that encourage intercultural interaction. In addition, teachers act as facilitators in intercultural discussions, allowing students to share their experiences and perspectives. However, this study also identified a number of challenges, such as language differences that cause difficulties in understanding the material, the existence of stereotypes and prejudices among students, as well as resource limitations such as the lack of teaching materials that reflect cultural diversity and the need for training for teachers in managing multicultural classrooms.

Abstract

Writing skills are an important aspect of Arabic language learning, but they remain a challenge for students, particularly at As-Sa'diyah Boarding School. Students in class 1E have difficulty constructing appropriate sentences, choosing the right vocabulary, and expressing their ideas coherently. One of the causes of this is that learning does not actively involve students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. Data was collected through observation, interviews, documentation, tests, and questionnaires, and then analyzed using a t-test. The results of this study show that the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model was carried out through five core stages: problem orientation, task organization, group investigation, presentation of results, and final reflection. This approach encouraged students to be more active, collaborative, and skilled in constructing Arabic texts in a coherent and contextual manner. The results of the one-tailed paired t-test (df = 16) showed that t-calculated = 9.443 was greater than t-table = 1.746 at α = 0.05, with p < 0.001. Therefore, H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Meanwhile, the control group only experienced a small increase from 68.82 to 70.23, which was not statistically significant. The improvements in the experimental group included more coherent sentence structure, more appropriate vocabulary use, and the ability to express ideas more clearly and logically. The questionnaire results showed that 88.24% of students felt that the PBL model made it easier for them to understand and write Arabic texts in an engaging, active, and contextual manner.

Abstract

Hospitalization in children often leads to stress and anxiety due to separation from parents, unfamiliar environments, and invasive medical procedures. These conditions can negatively impact children’s emotional well-being and recovery. Play therapy has been identified as an effective non-pharmacological intervention to reduce anxiety and support coping mechanisms during hospitalization. This literature review was conducted through a comprehensive search of journal databases including ScienceDirect, PubMed, and Google Scholar, using the keywords Play therapy, Therapeutic play, Anxiety, Child, and Hospitalized. The inclusion criteria were full-text articles published within the last five years, including systematic reviews, randomized controlled trials, clinical trials, and meta-analyses. The reviewed studies consistently show that play therapy effectively reduces anxiety in hospitalized children. Interventions such as coloring, storytelling, role-playing with medical kits, puppet play, and traditional games like snakes and ladders were associated with lower anxiety scores, improved cooperation, and greater comfort during medical procedures. Moreover, parental involvement was highlighted as a crucial factor in optimizing therapeutic outcomes by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to children. Play therapy serves as an effective complementary intervention to alleviate anxiety and enhance cooperation in hospitalized children. Integrating therapeutic play into pediatric care, combined with active parental involvement, not only improves the hospital experience but also promotes holistic child development and emotional resilience.

Abstract

One of the MSME-based social communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic is the Gedog batik community in Kerek District, Tuban Regency. However, women in the Gedog batik community continue to face challenges in understanding and interpreting the COVID-19 pandemic. This study analyzes the social construction of women in the batik community during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study employs Peter L. Berger’s social construction theory, utilising a phenomenological approach. Qualitative research methods were employed in this study, utilising observation and in-depth interviews as data collection techniques with 20 research informants. The data analysis technique in this study uses data collection, reduction (data categorization), data visualization, and conclusion. This study found that the interpretation of women in the batik community towards the COVID-19 pandemic has a dichotomy that pretends to be positive and negative aspects. This is due to their subjective experiences with the COVID-19 pandemic and other health policies. In addition, socio-economic background, social environment, and technology adoption are fundamental bases that contribute to forming the social construction of women in the batik community. The social construction of the COVID-19 pandemic also reflects social processes manifested in practical actions, such as affirmation (positive) or resistance (negative).
