Abstract

this study aims to describe the application of cooperative learning model picture and picture by using the media flashcard can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics class VIIA SMPN 3 Sikur the academic year 2016/2017 in the subject matter fractions. A common issue is the mathematics subjects are still considered abstract, and difficult. The use of the model and the use of media is less precise, less varied. Thus, the lack of attention that adversely affects the student learning outcomes. The use of appropriate methods and media are expected to improve learning outcomes. The use of the learning model type of picture and picture by using the media flashcard is one of the solutions offered to solve the problem. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) is conducted in two cycles. Types of data used are: Qualitative sheet teacher observation and student observation sheet, quantitative data obtained from the results of student evaluation tests given at the end of each cycle. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes, where the results of the first cycle with the classical percentage of 70% and the second cycle peresentase by 87%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model picture and picture by using the media flashcard can improve student learning outcomes class VIIA SMPN 3 Sikur in Academic Year 2016/2017.

Abstract

AbstractThe breakthrough in Information Communication Technology (ICT) has brought new opportunities to restructure language learning. At present, ICT has opened new avenues and brought new challenges for language learners and also teachers. The responsibility of the learning task has shifted towards students and this has dramatically changed the role of the teacher. However, it should be noted that modern language teachers determine the quality of the learning process, not ICT itself. This paper tries to highlight the potential of ICT as a powerful tool for teaching foreign languages and the effect of this technology on second language learning. The community service program emphasizes the use of the Lets Read link as a forum to find teaching materials for Excellent Course teachers. Along with the development of technology as it is today, teachers must also be more flexible in finding teaching materials for their students, especially in learning English. Therefore, it is necessary for teachers to know useful links that can be used in learning in their class.Keywords: Language Learning, ICT, Let’s Read Application  AbstrakTerobosan Teknologi Komunikasi Informasi (TIK) telah membawa peluang baru untuk merestrukturisasi pengaturan pembelajaran / pengajaran bahasa. Saat ini, TIK telah membuka jalan baru dan membawa tantangan baru bagi pembelajar bahasa dan juga guru. Tanggung jawab tugas belajar telah bergeser ke arah peserta didik dan ini telah secara dramatis mengubah peran guru. Namun, perlu dicatat bahwa guru bahasa modern menentukan kualitas proses pembelajaran, dan bukan TIK. Makalah ini mencoba untuk menyoroti potensi TIK sebagai alat yang kuat untuk pengajaran bahasa asing dan efek dari teknologi ini pada pembelajaran bahasa kedua. Program pengabdian masyarakat menekankan pada pemanfaatan link Lets Read sebagai wadah pencarian bahan ajar bagi guru-guru LKP Excellent Course. Seiring dengan berkembangnya teknologi seperti sekarang ini, guru juga harus lebih luwes dalam mencari bahan ajar untuk siswanya kususnya dalam pembelajaran Bahas Inggris. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the Central Market Relocation Arrangement by the Gorontalo City Trade and Industry Service. The research method used is a qualitative method, a research approach regarding the Central Market Relocation Arrangement by the Gorontalo City Trade and Industry Service. The qualitative approach emphasizes natural phenomena or symptoms that occur in a fundamental and naturalistic manner, and is carried out in the field, not in the laboratory. This approach is often referred to as naturalistic inquiry or field study. According to Lofland, the primary data used in qualitative research are keywords and phrases. The summary of the data above can come from documents, reports, or observation results. Based on the research results, analysis of the discussion of this research concludes that the Central Market Relocation Arrangement by the Gorontalo City Trade and Industry Service, seen from the aspects of infrastructure development, officer capability, communication, has not been implemented optimally, based on the results of interviews that have been described with several informants, it has not been optimally implemented by Gorontalo City Department of Trade and Industry, so that the arrangement of the Central market is not yet optimal because infrastructure development which should focus on main supporting facilities is not carried out. From the description of the results of interviews with informants, the ability of officers to provide guidance for controlling traders and buyers which can support the arrangement of the Gorontalo City Central Market area has not been optimal. Based on the description of the results of interviews with the informants involved, it can be concluded that the Relocation Arrangement for the Central Market of Gorontalo City is not optimal when viewed from the perspective of the communication that has been established between the Department of Trade and Industry of Gorontalo City and the Limbau U II sub-district, this communication is not optimal, as can be seen from the changes Market conditions still have the same problems, especially regarding controlling traders and buyers.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has resulted in many changes, especially in the world of education. The use of vlogs today is one of the impacts caused by technological developments or digital lifestyles. Video blogging (vlog) is the process of making videos with audio visuals instead of using words. This study will examine the use of vlogs in improving the speaking skills of fourth semester students at STKIP PGRI Bangkalan. The research aims to find out how the use of vlogs improves students' speaking skills and wants to know the students' response to the use of vlog media for learning to speak. The research was conducted at STKIP PGRI Bangkalan, and the subjects of this study were third semester students of the English education study program. This research is a qualitative research, and the data collection technique used was interviews. The interviews involved five fourth semester students. The results showed that vlogs make it easier for students to practice speaking skills because before being displayed on the camera screen, students prepare in advance what they will say. Additionally, the use of vlogs is effective for speaking learning. Through vlogs, students can improve their shortcomings in speaking, such as pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and lack of confidence.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in supporting regional economic growth, particularly in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. One concrete manifestation of governmental assistance is the implementation of Government Regulation Number 24 of 2018, which introduces the Online Single Submission (OSS) platform to streamline the licensing process, specifically in obtaining the Business Identification Number. Through OSS, the licensing procedure becomes more efficient, rapid, and transparent. The adoption of OSS aims not only to provide convenience for business entities but also to bolster investment in the MSME sector. It is recommended to enhance the comprehension of business stakeholders through additional training and awareness initiatives to fortify business legitimacy, foster MSME expansion, and generate positive effects on local economic development. The methods utilized for activity execution encompass lectures, discussions, and practical sessions, targeting micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises situated in Tawar Village, Mojokerto Regency. This endeavor has been effectively carried out, resulting in a notable increase in the successful registration of Business Identification Numbers (NIBs).

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how to improve children's gross motor skills through creative step play at Aisyiyah Kindergarten.The research method used is classroom action research with a cycle consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection. The research subjects were 20 group A children at Aisyiyah Kindergarten (10 boys and 10 girls). The research location was Aisyiyah Kindergarten with a sample of all group A children in Aisyiyah Kindergarten. Data collection techniques are carried out through direct observation. The data validation technique used in this research is method triangulation and source triangulation. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative descriptive analysisThe results of the research show that the application of creative play steps in developing children's physical motor skills, showing a very significant will in achieving the success target of this research. The success obtained is as follows: The success obtained in developing children's physical motor skills can develop well until it reaches 75%, as the achievement of the success target has been determined. Through the application of creative step play, children can improve their gross motor skills.

Abstract

This study investigated what students' perceptions of reading digital texts and students' preferences for digital text reading. Data was gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation to accomplish this purpose.  The interview aims to gather qualitative information about the participants' motivation and interests, the effectiveness of reading digital texts, any difficulties they may have had reading them, and whether they preferred reading print or digital texts.  Four students enrolled in five semesters of the English Language Education Department at STKIP PGRI Bangkalan during the academic year 2023/2024 participated in this study.  The results showed that the participants had a favorable opinion of reading digital materials because digital texts are more engaging and inspiring, and follow the standard reading format. The main obstacle for students in using digital texts is the less text displayed at once due to the limitations of smartphone screens.

Abstract

This article discusses essay writing techniques, preposition and transitional words, and terms that cannot be lexically or syntactically comprehended but can be culturally understood. The purpose of this study is to discover language relativity in students' essay paragraphs utilizing a mind mapping technique in EFL learning. The researcher employed a descriptive strategy, observing and documenting the writing process in class. The participants were distinguished by their diverse living, educational, and professional backgrounds. These writings were descriptively assessed using appropriate literature, and observations were also undertaken to arrive at a reasonable interpretation. As a result, mind mapping with language relativity integrates meaningful students' knowledge such as history, linguistics such as preposition and transition word usage, and Indonesian cultural types and values such as Sarabi, Gempol Ice, and Rujak Cingur are Indonesian iconic culinary to organize and structure into essay writing fluently in EFL learning.

Abstract

In today's modern era, technological developments have brought many changes, even technology has also spread to the world of education. One of them is the technology of learning English this technology is known as Hello Talk the use of this application is also one of the impacts of the existence of technological developments. Hello Talk is an application to learn various languages, especially English. This research aims to find out how students use the Hello Talk application as a learning medium for English speaking skills this research is conducted online and the intended subjects are high school students who have long used the Hello Talk application as a learning media. This research is qualitative research and the data collection technique used by the researcher was the interview technique, the interview here involves 4 high school 11th-grade students. The results of this study indicate that the Hello Talk application can help students to practice speaking skills. Students stated that they preferred the teacher to use code-switching during class activities, even though they thought it to be relatively difficult to accomplish. In order to improve the learning process, they also suggested incorporating extra resources like online platforms and applications and encouraged engaged conversation in pairs or groups about their various subjects of study. In addition, the use of the Hello Talk application also has many features that can help develop students' speaking skills, such as Voice Room, Talking with native speakers, Calls, and voice notes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the tendency of people who have experienced apathy, individualism, and have lost their social sensitivity. Society is trapped in an attitude of prioritizing personal desires and disregarding the interests of others so that contemporary problems are born in today's society. Every individual should not only be concerned with the benefit of himself, while he mentions the problems that exist in his environment. This study will examine the terms of the Qur'an which are related to social intelligence. In this research, we will present a random interpretation of several verses of the Qur'an that are relevant to the theme of the discussion. The method used in this research is literature study with a thematic interpretation approach. The results of this study will reveal verses in the al-Qur'an that are relevant and related to social intelligence.
