Abstract

PT. Pos Indonesia is a state-owned company engaged in the field of receipt and delivery of goods which was first established in 1746. Frequent problems with freight forwarding services, especially PT. Pos Indonesia is a lack of competitiveness of companies with similar companies, especially private ones. This is because companies are less able to understand the desires and expectations of consumers so that they lose trust and loyalty from consumers. From these problems the purpose of this study was to find a solution using a canoe model in an effort to find improvement proposals to improve quality at PT. Indonesian post. From the research that has been done, there are 4 canoe categories on 11 variables studied. In the category of Must-be, the customer variable is comfortable and strategic location, One Dimensional, namely variable comfortable waiting place, adequate supporting facilities, timely delivery, appropriate price, fast service time and Attractive item security are only professional employee variables, and Indifferent is a lot of service and promotion in various media.

Abstract

One of logistics activities is product distribution. PT Stars has several obstacles in their distribution activity including the limited number and capacity of the company vehicles, the difference in the number of consumer requests, and the spread consumer locations. The methods used in this research were Saving Matrix, Nearest Neighbor, and Genetic Algorithm. By employing biological evolution concept, an output was produced in the form of a combination of goods distribution route that should be taken to optimize the capacity and travel cost. The results obtained from the calculation on Saving Matrix and Nearest Neighbor were two routes for Genetic Algorithm manually and constructively using MATLAB at PT Stars Internasional. Based on the calculation process, two solutions were obtained using Nearest Neighbor with two distribution routes, while 14 distribution routes were generated using Genetic Algorithm with a maximum capacity of 3,720 pairs.

Abstract

The hospital has a very vital role in efforts to improve the health status of all Indonesian people. When the process of serving a hospital is not effective and efficient, patients who can be referred to as customers from the hospital will feel the impact. Long processes and patients who are required to queue in each process results in patients having to wait a long time to get service. It is hoped that Lean will apply it to hospitals to improve the process so that it can provide optimal services, and at a lower cost. From the results of this study, the waste found in the service of The Organization of Health Social Security (BPJS) is waiting /delay & defect. The impact of lean service implementation on the BPJS Health patient service process according to the process activity mapping, increasing the process cycle efficiency to 64%, according to the supply chain response matrix is to add service facilities, and according to the quality filter mapping is to carry out routine control of the registration process and the amount of stock paper and printer
