Abstract

Abstract

In agricultural cultivation technology, there are very influential limiting factors on plant growth and yield, one of which is the presence of fertilization. This research aims to study the composition of Bio fertilizer and Cow manure fertilizer application bean’s growth and yield. This research was conducted from February 25th, 2022 to May 22th, 2022 at Seed Garden of Food Crops and Horticulture Tawangmangu (TPH) Tawangmangu, Karangpandan District, Karanganyar Regency with an altitude place of 1100 meters above sea level and Latosol soil. This research method uses a single factor randomized complete block design (RCBD) consisting of 6 kinds of experiments and each was repeated 4 times in order to obtain 24 kinds trial. The variables used are length of plant, number of leaves, length of root, fresh weight of biomass, dry weight of biomass, the number and weight of pods. The results of this research showed that the composition of biofertilizer and cow fertilizer application has no effect on bean’s growth and yield.

Abstract

In agricultural cultivation technology, there are various determining factors that greatly affect plant growth and yield. One important factor in agriculture is fertilization. This study aims to examine the effect of NPK fertilizer composition and goat manure on the growth and yield of sweet corn plants. This research was conducted from June 10, 2024 to September 16, 2024 at Jaya Wijaya Experimental Farm, Mojosongo, Surakarta, at an altitude of 400 meters above sea level with Latosol soil type. This study used a Completely Randomized Group Design (CRD) with two treatment factors, NPK fertilizer and goat manure, each repeated three times to obtain 48 treatment combinations. The parameters observed included plant height, number of leaves, cob diameter, cob weight with husk, and cob weight without husk. The results of the experiment showed that the addition of NPK fertilizer significantly affected the growth and yield of sweet corn plants, while the addition of goat manure and the interaction between the two did not give any significant effect.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia continue to grow positively, with government support helping to revive the economy since the Covid-19 pandemic. To further MSME development, a community engagement program was conducted to provide guidance and solutions for the challenges faced by the Otak-Otak Bandeng Amanah business in Mojokerto. The study used a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach, collecting data through semi-structured interviews, observation, and social media analysis of Otak-Otak Bandeng Amanah. Key challenges identified included limited local awareness of the business, difficulty for new customers to locate it, less appealing product photos on GrabFood and GoFood, and the absence of cashless payment options. Implemented solutions included expanding customer reach through Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok promotions, creating banners and signage, improving product photos, and providing QRIS for cashless payments. Recommendations included ongoing mentoring for other businesses to optimize digital media management.

Activities were carried out on September 29, 2024 with a focus on improving the village economy and environmental management. The objectives include the application of water hyacinth fermentation technology into nutritious feed and strengthening community independence in providing animal feed. This program also helps reduce water hyacinth populations that disturb aquatic ecosystems. Outputs include fermented feed products, publications in accredited scientific journals, and presentations at national forums. Implementation methods include counseling, technical training, mentoring, and hands-on practice of making feed. To ensure sustainability, regular monitoring and evaluation are conducted. Through a participatory approach, this activity is expected to increase livestock productivity while preserving the environment in the partner area.

Abstract

Title PKM: Training on Making Botanical Insecticides as Environmentally Friendly Chili Pest Control involving the Taru Mulyo Farmers' Group in Karangpalem village, Kedawung sub-district, Sragen district which cares about environmental preservation, was held on May 27 2023. The purpose of this activity is to provide training in making vegetable insecticides as pest control for chili plants that are environmentally friendly. Thus the environment becomes clean and healthy, and able to make their own vegetable insecticides. Environmentally friendly chili pest control is a good solution in sustainable agriculture. Dependence on chemical pesticides that are not environmentally friendly, can be replaced by making vegetable insecticides. Besides being cheap and easy to manufacture, it also does not cause problems with the environment. This method can be a feature of local wisdom in controlling pests on the plants it cultivates. The output targets are Sinta accredited scientific journals and presentations at Senadimas. To realize the output target, the methods applied include counseling, training, mentoring and at the same time direct practice. In order for this partnership program to be sustainable, regular monitoring and evaluation is carried out.
