Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to increase student learning achievement on the topic of hidrocarbon in class X Senior High School Negeri (SMAN) 10 Pekanbaru. The research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class X 5 as the experimental class and students of class X 8 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is applied to learning model cooperative exchanged couples type while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test and Kp test. Based on data analysis of data obtained tcount > ttable is 1,70>1.66, means that model cooperative echanged couples type can improve student learning achievement on the topic of hidrocarbon in class X Senior High School Negeri (SMAN) 10 Pekanbaru. The results showed that the implementation of learning model cooperative exchanged couples type can improve student achievement with an increase of 1,22%.Key Words : Learning Achievement, Learning model cooperative exchanged couples type, Hidrocarbon

Abstract

Abstract: Gusti Wahyuni. Application of Mind Mapping with Multimedia in Improving Natural Science Learning of The Fifth Grade in SDN 1 Tamanwinangun in the Academic Year of 2014/2015. The objectives of this research are: (1) to describe the steps in application of mind mapping with multimedia, (2) to improve Natural Science learning about simple plane of the fifth grade in SDN 1 Tamanwinangun. This research is a collaborative Class Action Research (CAR). The experiment was conducted in three cycles. Subjects were fifth grade students of SDN 1 Tamanwinangun in the academic year of 2014/2015, totaling 32 students. The results show that: (1) the application of mind mapping with multimedia has been carried out in accordance with the following steps: (a) introduction, (b) delivery, (c) deployment, (d) collaboration, (e) delivery of results, and (f) closure, (2) the application of mind mapping with multimedia can improve Natural Science learning about simple plane of  the fifth grade in SDN 1 Tamanwinangun. Keyword:mind mapping, multimedia, learning, Natural Science   Abstrak: Penerapan Mind Mapping dengan Multimedia dalam Peningkatan Pembelajaran IPA pada Siswa Kelas V SD. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu: (1) mendeskripsikan penerapan mind mapping dengan multimedia, (2) meningkatkan pembelajaran IPA tentang pesawat sederhana pada siswa kelas V SDN 1 Tamanwinangun. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) kolaboratif ini dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN 1 Tamanwinangun berjumlah 32 siswa. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa: (1) penerapan mind mapping dengan multimedia dilaksanakan dengan langkah: (a) pendahuluan, (b) penyampaian, (c) penugasan, (d) kolaborasi, (e) penyampaian hasil, dan (f) penutup, (2) penerapan mind mapping dengan multimedia dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPA tentang pesawat sederhana pada siswa kelas V SDN 1 Tamanwinangun. Abstract

Permasalahan diatas maka rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah ada pengaruh dalam penggunaan alat permainan monopoli terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5-6 Tahun di RA Shazia Palembang? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dalam Penggunaan Alat Permainan Monopoli terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun di RA Shazia Palembang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu lembaga pendidikan formal yaitu RA Shazia Palembang, penelitian dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimen, terdapat 2 kelas disini yaitu kelas experimen dan kontrol. Jumlah sample yang menjadi objek penelitian adalah 35 siswa. Kelas B2 sebagai kelas ekperimen dan kelas B1 Sebagai kelas kontrol. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan tehnik obsevasi, anekdot, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan untuk proses analisa data, peneliti menggunakan uji t. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh hasil t hitung sebesar 3,00 dimana nilai t tabel sebesar 2.02 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 dan dengan uji satu pihak. Karena nilai t yang diperoleh lebih besar dari nilai t tabel 3.00>2.02, maka hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak dan alternatif (Ha) diterima. Artinya terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berhitung anak usia dini dengan menggunakan metode monopoli di RA Shazia Palembang

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of image-based media on early childhood learning motivation at Al-Furqon Islamic Kindergarten in Makassar, Indonesia. From the perspectives of intrinsic motivation and multimedia learning the study implements both quantitative data with a quasi-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design and qualitative classroom observation methods. The intervention involved Group B children viewing visual materials showing familiar cultural farm animals and their settings. This section included nineteen participants. After implementing image media the learning motivation scores of participants significantly increased as confirmed by a paired sample t-test (p < 0.05; Cohen’s d = 4.73) indicating a very large effect size. The qualitative results demonstrated that participants showed higher levels of emotional engagement along with verbal communication and they continued tasks while working with peers based on classroom observations. The research shows that image-based media help both increase motivation levels and encourage valuable cognitive and social engagement during early childhood education. This study demonstrates how culturally relevant visual content available at low cost can build highly engaging learning places that respect child development in underfunded early education facilities. The paper presents implications for early childhood motivation research together with recommendations for educational implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe school management strategies in ensuring early childhood safety in the Raudhatul Athfal (RA) environment. The background of this research is based on the increasing cases of violence, accidents, and neglect against children in PAUD units, as well as the importance of the role of school management in building an effective and sustainable protection system. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method carried out at RA Shazia Palembang. Data collection techniques are carried out through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The research subjects include school principals, teachers, and support staff. The results of the study show that although schools already have policies in the form of safety SOPs, implementation in the field has not been optimal. Teachers have not received special training, evacuation simulations have never been carried out, and incident reporting systems have not been actively functioning. Most of the physical facilities of the school have met the standards, but unsafe facilities are still found. Security evaluation and monitoring are still incidental and not yet system-based. This research contributes to the development of early childhood safety management and recommends the need for periodic training, facility audits, and parental involvement in risk prevention efforts.
