Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and explain the Community's Participation in Environmental Care Village Perkamil In the city of Manado. The research methodology used is qualitative research. The results showed that the participation of the community in the form of public attendance at the discussion meeting decisions about the environment and the maintenance strategy implementation plan environmental maintenance program is already quite good, there are some people who did not attend the meeting or meetings to program planning, but few. Public participation in the implementation of environmental care is the provision of self-help in the form of power when the implementation of programs and grants (non-governmental) to support the successful implementation of the program has been quite good, the implementation of the administration and coordination of program implementation has been quite good. Community participation in maintaining and continuing maintenance of the results of program execution environment is quite active, as people realize that with them keeping all the results of the implementation of the program, it will automatically impact of the program can continue to be felt by the community. The impact is felt by the community of the results of the implementation of the enormous environmental maintenance program including the environment becomes clean and healthy and comfortable place to live. Public participation in the evaluation of program implementation issues related to preservation of the environment as a whole is good enough, because the community participated in the evaluation program, the public may submit proposals for improvements if the program found to be less successful. Abstract

Abstract Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi makna simbol etnis pada rumah adat Minahasa, di mana ada banyak unsur simbol yang kaya makna. Rumah tradisional merupakan salah satu warisan budaya yang perlu diketahui dan terus dilestarikan dari generasi ke generasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan Teori Interaksi Simbolik. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan simbol rumah adat pengrajin Minahasa entik dan komunitas etnis menafsirkan Minahasa melalui rumah adat melalui bentuk, bahan, kamar, pintu, kebersamaan, dan beranda Kata Kunci :  Makna Simbol, Rumah adat, Etnik Minahasa

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of civilian personnel resources of the State in the administrative services at the Village Office Pandu District of Bunaken, Manado. The method used is a qualitative research method. Research techniques using triangulation method. The results showed that the quality of Administrative Resources in the State civil administrative services at the Village Office Pandu still not been implemented properly. This is due to the work possessed knowledge has not kept pace with the skills and ability to perform their duties, due in part to the State Civil Apparatus has not mastered the technical and operational jobs, high discipline, loyalty to the job and work responsibilities. Abstract

This study aims to assess the professionalism of civil service police officers in the execution of duties enforcement of local regulations. Abstract

As a matter of fact, public relation perseptions and stigmatization commonly become obstacles for the Public Relation Division of City Secretariat of Tidore Island. The aim of this research is to know the form of building capacity reinforcement through education and training in public information service at House of Representative of Tidore Island City. The method applied in this research is descriptive qualitative. Observation, interview, and documentation research were the techniques in collecting the data as the research subject divided into key informants and prime informants in total of eight people. The descriptive data anlysis technique described phenomenons based on the field following the steps as follow: data reduction phase, data presentation, and data verification or conclusion. Based on the filed reserach showed that in capacity building of House of Representative public relation division officilas of Tidore Island City are highly depended on education and training to raise the service in the organization public information, therefore the substantive item seen by the society was the less maximal effort shown caused by the unprofesional human resources. The efforts toward the building capacity had not been done by the officials to answer the demand and need in community service of public relation division officials at House of Representative of Tidore Island City. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the building capacity by education and training of public relation officials at House of Representative Secretariat of Tidore Island City is an urgent thing to reach the aim of the organization. Fungtional training such as public relation technique, jurnalism technique, seminars, discussion that relate to the responsibilities are needed tobe possesed

Abstract

penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui, mendeskripsikan, implementasi kebijakan penanggulangan kemiskinan absolut di Kecamatan Kawangkoan Barat. Juga menganalisis dan mendekripsikan apa yang menghambat upaya penanggulangan kemiskinan di Kecamatan Kawangkoan Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dalam bentuk bahasa dan kata-kata. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Kartu Indonesia Sehat dapat membantu masyarakat miskin untuk mendapatkan pelayanan kesehatan secara gratis tanpa dipungut biaya, pemberian modal usaha berupaya Kredit Usaha Rakyat sangat membantu dalam menambah modal usaha dan meningkatkan pendapatan, pemeberian bantuan pendidikan berupa beasiswa sangat bermanfaat karena membantu masyarakat miskin dalam mengurangi beban pengeluaran keluarga dan memperoleh pendidikan yang layak, raskin tidak dapat memenuhi kebutuhan hidup masyarakat miskin karena jumlah yang mereka dapatkan hanya sedikit dan kualitas beras yang didapat kurang baik. Kesimpulan bahwa implementasi penanggulangan kemiskinan yang berhasil adalah pemberian Kartu Indonesia Sehat, pemberian bantuan beasiswa, dan pemberian bantuan modal usaha berupa Kredit Usaha Rakyat. Saran implementasi kebijakan penanggulangan kemiskinan absolut di Kecamatan Kawangkoan Barat sebaiknya diganti dengan program lain yang lebih bermanfaat agar masyarakat miskin hidup mandiri dan keluar dari kemiskinan dan menggapai hidup sejahtera.Kata Kunci: Implementasi Kebijakan, Penanggulangan Kemiskinan,Bantuan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Tondano Watershed Management Policy in theprovince of North Sulawesi. This research uses the descriptive qualitative method. Research data are obtainedfrom informants who are representatives of the society and government. The result of the study indicatesthat on the organizational aspect, Tondano watershed management institutions are very stronglysupported by regulations under a strict legal umbrella for the management of the Tondano watershed,such as Law No. 41 1999 concerning Forestry, PP 37 2012 concerning watershed management, which issubsequently elaborated by North Sulawesi Provincial Regulation No. 1 2013 concerning the managementof the Tondano watershed. In addition to that, Tondano watershed management involves many parties(multidisciplinary and multi-sector) in the Tondano watershed area. In the aspects of interpretation policyregarding the management of the Tondano watershed, it can be concluded that the implementor andstakeholders are able to master and know their duties and functions in the management of the Tondanowatershed. In the aspect of application or implementation of Tondano watershed management policiesbased on existing regulations, however, a lot of plans in the form of programs and activities have been seenexisting in every relevant agency, all of which are to make the Tondano watershed useful and sustainable.But in their implementation, these activities have not been carried out thoroughly by the regionalgovernment both in the province and district/city. The obstacle faced is the lack of commitment andpresence of stakeholders in implementing watershed management based on existing regulations.Keywords: policy implementation, Tondano watershed management, organization, interpretation,application.

Abstract

Abstract:Leadership is needed to direct or guide others or subordinate toward the achievement of anorganizational goal. To achieve these goals, required the better human resources inside company ororganization through career development activities. Currently, the employee job satisfaction is very importantnow days because it can affect the way of the company. The purpose of this research is to examine the influenceof leadership and career development to employees’ job satisfaction at PT. Bank Sinarmas, Tbk branchManado.The method used in this research is quantitative method using logistic regression model. Thepopulation is 48, total sampling is used as sampling technique in order to obtain all 48 employees as the sample.Interviews, observation, questionnaires are used in collecting data. Analysis method is using R-Squarecoefficient, Hosmer and Lemeshow test as well as hypothesis test using EXP value or ODDS ratio and ChiSquare to measure the effect of variables using SPSS 16.0 Windows.The result shows the significant value of leadership variabel is 0,035 and career development variabelis 0,01, both variables has significant influence to job satisfaction. Furthermore, the result show that leadershipand career development has significant influence as partial and simultaneous toward job satisfaction.Keywords: Leadership, Career development, Job satisfaction
