Abstract

This study aims to determine the optimum conditions for the adsorption process and the characteristics ofresulting glycerol after the adsorption process. Raw material for making crude glycerol is used cooking oilobtained from fried food merchants around the campus of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Crude glycerol wasmade from used transesterification reaction of cooking oil (10 L), methanol (2.5 L) and catalyst KOH (95 g) at 60° C for 1 hour. Crude glycerol is separated from the biodiesel and sulfuric acid 1.19 M was added until pHreached 6 and formed two layers. The bottom layer (rich glycerol) was separated by filtration and glycerol levelswas 60.7%, water was 18.72%, ashes was 35, negative for sugar, potassium metal of 4458 ppm and density of 1.140 g/mL. The next stage is process of adsorption using activated natural zeolite Lampung. Crude glycerol as the result of acidification process was added with activated natural zeolite, stirred, settled and filtered. Adsorption process is done by varying the time (30, 45, 60, 75 and 90 minutes) zeolite concentrations (6, 9, 12, 15 and 18%), temperature (30, 40, 60, 80 and 100 °C) and the size of the zeolite (9, 25 and 60 mesh). The optimum condition of adsorption process was found to be 75 minutes, with 12% zeolite concentration, temperature of 60 °C and the size of the zeolite 0.2 mm with glycerol content of 88.91%, 7.38% water, 3% ashes, contains no sugar and density of 1,231g/mL.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kondisi optimum proses adsorpsi dan karakteristik gliserol yang dihasilkan setelah proses adsorpsi. Bahan baku pembuatan crude glycerol adalah minyak goreng bekas yang diperoleh dari pedagang gorengan disekitar kampus UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Crude glycerol di buat dari reaksi transesterifikasi minyak goreng bekas (10 L), metanol (2,5 L) dan katalis KOH (95 g) pada suhu 60 oC selama 1 jam. Crude glycerol dipisahkan dari biodiesel dan ditambahkan asam sulfat 1,19M sampai pH 6sehingga terbentuk dua lapisan. Lapisan bawah (kaya gliserol) dipisahkan dengan cara penyaringan dan didapatkan kadar gliserol 60,7%, air 18,27%, abu 35, gula negatif, logam kalium 4458 ppm dan massa jenis 1,140 g/mL. Tahap selanjutnya adalah proses adsorpsi menggunakan zeolit alam Lampung yang sudah diaktivasi. Crude glycerol hasil pengasaman ditambahkan zeolit alam teraktivasi, di aduk, didiamkan dandisaring. Proses adsorpsi dilakukan dengan memvariasikan waktu (30, 45, 60, 75 dan 90 menit) konsentrasi zeolit (6, 9, 12, 15 dan 18%), suhu (30, 40, 60, 80 dan 100 oC) dan ukuran zeolit (9, 25 dan 60 mesh). Kondisi optimum proses adsorpsi didapatkan pada waktu 75 menit, konsentrasi zeolit 12%, suhu 60 oC dan ukuran zeolit 0,2 mm dengan kadar gliserol 88,91%, air 7,38%, abu 3%, tidak mengandung gula dan massa jenis 1,231g/mL.

Abstract

Real sector investment require substantial capital and need a relatively long time to develop. One of the real sector investment is mining sector which is a capital-intensive industry so it is expected to grow innovative and competitive as well as get achievement of efficiency in the production activity. It have an important role because it is done repeatedly in a regular frequency and absorbs a lot of the cost of production. Therefore, budgeting such as planning and control production costs is needed. The research aims are to know planning and control of production costs and implementation of flexible budget as a tool for planning and control activity of production costs PT. Ansar Terang Crushindo. Research design is a descriptive. Data were collected by interview and documentation. Analysis of the research is comparing between budget and actual production costs as well as analysis of variances. The result show that the company uses a static budget as a basis of comparison realization of the company's production costs. Therefore, variance shows large difference and unfavorable. If flexible budget is used as a planning, variance production cost become smaller because is adapted by the realization of production volume. Implementation of flexible budget is used by splitting cost behavior pattern, separating of fixed and variable costs, and determining activities range.   Keywords : Production costs, Flexible budget, Planning, and Control

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of income diversification on bank performance and risk for government owned banks in Indonesia. This study uses return on assets (ROA) for bank performance and standard deviation of return on assets (SDROA) for bank risk. Using a data set of government owned banks in Indonesia during the period 2012-2016, we find evidence that income diversification is positively related to bank performance (ROA). Income diversification is positively related to bank risk. We find that income diversification increases performance and also risk for government owned banks. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh diversifikasi pendapatan terhadap kinerja dan risiko bank. Pengukuran pada penelitian ini menggunakan return on assets (ROA) untuk mengukur kinerja dan  standar deviasi return on assets (SDROA) untuk mengukur risiko bank. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel bank milik pemerintah selama periode 2012-2016. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif signifikan diversifikasi pendapatan terhadap kinerja bank.  Implementasi strategi diversifikasi pendapatan juga berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap risiko bank. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa diversifikasi pendapatan tidak hanya meningkatkan kinerja namun juga risiko bank milik pemerintah.

Abstract

Kurangnya pemahaman konsep pada materi pengukuran satuan panjang  dapat menyebabkan peserta didik kesulitan dalam mengukur benda, menentukan alat ukur yang tepat, menemukan hubungan antar satuan baku panjang, dan menerapkan konsep pengukuran satuan panjang dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD Berbasis Discovery Learning sebagai upaya meningkatkan pemahaman konsep pada peserta didik khusus pada materi pengukuran satuan panjang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode Design and Development (D&D) dengan model pengembangan PPE (Product Development). Model ini terdiri dari tiga langkah, yaitu 1) Perencanaan, 2) Produksi, dan 3) Evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan data kuantitatif menggunakan skala likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD Berbasis Discovery Learning pada materi satuan panjang ini masuk ke dalam kriteria sangat layak untuk digunakan dengan persentase sebesar 92% menurut ahli materi, 86% menurut praktisi pembelajaran, 100% menurut ahli media dan 99% menurut respon peserta didik. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa LKPD Berbasis Discovery Learning pada materi Pengukuran Satuan Panjang ini layak digunakan untuk membantu peserta didik dalam memahami materi Pengukuran Satuan Panjang di kelas 3 SD.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims; 1) knowing the feasibility of web-based physics learning media that is enhanced by courses with guided inquiry models in class X SMA measurement material; 2) knowing the students' response to the interest of web-based physics learning media that was enhanced by a guided inquiry model in the X grade high school measurement material. This study used research and development (R and D) method using Borg and Gall model. The data of this study were obtained from educator questionnaires and student responses, validation questionnaires for material experts, media experts, and informatics experts.The results of the study of material experts 87.45%, media experts 83.61%, informatics experts 77.29%, and educators in three schools 87.77%, while the responses of students in three schools 82.43%. Based on material experts, media experts, informatics experts, and educators, it can be concluded that physics learning media is a website as a learning medium.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan; 1) mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis web enhanced course dengan model inkuiri terbimbing pada materi pengukuran SMA kelas X; 2) mengetahui respon peserta didik terhadap ketertarikan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis web enhanced course dengan model inkuiri terbimbing pada materi pengukuran SMA kelas X. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R and D) dengan menggunakan modelBorg and Gall. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari angket pendidik dan respon peserta didik,angket validasi ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli informatika. Hasil penelitian ahli materi 87,45%, ahli media 83,61%, ahli informatika 77,29%, dan pendidik ditiga sekolah 87,77%, sedangkan respon peserta didik ditiga sekolah 82,43%. Berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi, ahli media, ahli informatika, dan pendidik, maka dapat disimpulkan media pembelajaran fisika berupa website layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.
