Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh: (1) bentuk media pembelajaran dalam materi SPLDV, (2) media pembelajaran berbasis ICT berbentuk CD untuk meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dalam materi SPLDV, dan (3) informasi tentang kualitas media pembelajaran berbasis ICT  berbentuk CD untuk meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dalam materi SPLDV. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development yang terdiri dari 7 tahap yaitu: penelitian dan pengumpulan data awal, perencanaan, pembuatan produk awal, uji coba awal, perbaikan produk awal, uji coba lapangan dan perbaikan produk operasional. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) bentuk media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan untuk materi SPLDV disajikan berbentuk power point, (2) media pembelajaran berbasis ICT berbentuk CD dapat meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dalam materi SPLDV, dan (3)  media pembelajaran berbasis ICT berbentuk CD untuk meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dalam materi SPLDV memenuhi kriteria kualitas, yaitu: valid, praktis, dan efektif. Kata Kunci : Penelitian Pengembangan, Representasi, SPLDV, Kualitas. Abstract : This research is aim to get: (1) the form of learning media in SPLDV material, (2) ICT based bearning media in the form of CD to improve the ability of students’ mathematical representatives in SPLDV material, and (3) information about quality of ICT based learning media in the form of CD to improve the ability of students’ mathematical representatives in SPLDV material. The research is conducted by using Research and Development approach which consists of 7 steps, they are: research and collecting initial data, planning, creating initial product, initial test, initial product revision, field test, and operational product revision. The result shows : (1) the form of learning media has developed to SPLDV material  presented in power point, (2) ICT based learning media in the form of CD can improve the ability of students’ mathematical representatives in SPLDV material, and (3) ICT based learning media in the form of CD to improve the ability of students’ mathematical representatives in SPLDV material has fulfill the quality criteria which are: valid, simple, and effective. Abstract

This training adapts to the needs of teachers in the independent curriculum. The Education Office in collaboration with FKIP Tanjungpura University trained 70 teachers in Kubu Raya district, focusing on differentiated learning. Participants were reinforced on the characteristics and types of differentiated learning: proactive, emphasizing quality, rooted in assessment, and providing multiple approaches. They are directed to choose or combine differentiated learning types (content, process, product) and link them to research such as PTK, best practice, or descriptive papers. Participants submit a draft paper with title and background for the resource person to comment on. Implementation in schools is monitored via WhatsApp by the Kesuma Bangsa Journal team. The purpose of implementation is as a real action for driving teachers and article material for journals. The activity was closed with a post-test to assess the increase in understanding, which increased from 45.07 to 56.07 points. The training went smoothly and according to plan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase in the mathematical representation ability by students with the application of contextual approach assisted by Students"™ Worksheet (Lembar Kerja Siswa) on the topic of Relation and Function for the eighth grade students of Junior High School 3 in Batu Ampar (SMP Negeri 3). The method used is descriptive method with classroom action research (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas). The subjects were mathematics teachers and students of class VIII. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques with a data collection tool is the observation sheet teachers' ability to implementing the learning and observation sheet student"™s abilities of mathematical representation. This research was conducted in 3 cycles, in which the results showed: (1) Increasing the capability of visual representation of the first cycle to the third cycle was 27.5%, (2) Increasing the ability of symbolic representation of the first cycle to the third cycle of 5%, and (3) Improving the ability of verbal representations from the first cycle to the third cycle of 37.5%.
