Abstract

A staticwork position with sitting is common work posture founded in industry, particularly small industryin Indonesia. The problem that review in this paper is the activity of workers sitting static for processingemping in Yogyakarta. Activity done by means sitting on the floor without using table. The activity carriedin a continuous long term, so as to cause disease risks muscle and bone especially lower back. Ergonomic workfacilities is implemented to solve the work problem with table and chair. The design of work table is developedwith concept low cost improvement and consider with secure, health, and convenience of worker. The designprocess using participatory approach by involving worker to get best design. The result of facilities implementationcan be achieved a decrease ih the risk of work. The potential risk of work posture can be repair thatshown of the RULA score from 6 to 4, and no more complain the back and waist from worker activity.

Abstract

Operating room scheduling is a complex process that involves various resources and takes the interests of many parties into consideration. The genetic algorithm is the frequently used metaheuristic algorithm to solve a large-size operating room scheduling problem. Many techniques have been developed to improve the genetic algorithms' performance in dealing with the operating room scheduling complexity. In this paper, we survey available literature to identify improvement techniques used at each stage of the genetic algorithm and capture the underlying problems. This review provides a mapping of improvement techniques in genetic algorithms correlating with the considered problems. The results can be employed by other researchers as a guide for future research in integrating a genetic algorithm or other population-based metaheuristic algorithm with a recent heuristic algorithm following the future directions of operating room scheduling research.

Abstract

SMA Immanuel Kalasan adalah SMA swasta dengan formasi guru dan staf yang terdiri atas 20 orang dengan usia yang bervariasi. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman tentang jenis-jenis karakter dan temperamen manusia menjadi pengetahuan yang penting untuk dikenalkan kepada guru dan karyawan di SMA Imannuel Kalasan untuk membantu guru dan karyawan mengelola konflik dalam organisasi. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan kepada guru dan karyawan SMA Immanuel Kalasan tentang pengenalan jenis temperamen dan melakukan subjective assessment temperamen. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan dalam lima tahap, yaitu inisiasi, perencanaan, persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Tahap inisiasi dan perencanaan dilakukan untuk menggali masalah dan komunikasi solusi kepada pihak SMA. Tahap persiapan terdiri dari pembuatan proposal, penyusunan materi pelatihan, dan detil rencana pelaksanaan. Tahap pelaksanaan dalam bentuk pemaparan materi Manajemen Organisasi dengan pendekatan Psikologi Industri dan asesmen kepribadian menggunakan model Karaktera. Dalam model Karaktera terdapat 4 warna dominan temperamen, yaitu merah, ungu, kuning, dan hijau. Asesmen temperamen memberikan hasil 67% guru dan karyawan memiliki temperamen dominan ungu dan selebihnya dominan merah. Hasil ini dikonfirmasi melalui wawancara dan dinyatakan telah sesuai dengan karakter partisipan. Setelah partisipan mengetahui warna temperamen dirinya dan rekan kerja, diberikan materi mengatasi konflik sesuai dengan kelompok temperamen. Tahap evaluasi pengabdian dilakukan untuk menilai pelaksanaan pengabdian. Efektivitas, waktu, fasilitas, konsumsi, dan performa pemateri mencapai rata-rata lebih dari 4, sehingga dapat dikatakan tingkat kepuasan terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah baik hingga sangat baik.
