Abstract

During interview, a psychologist should pay attention to every gesture and response, both verbal and nonverbal language/behaviors, made by the client. Psychologist certainly has limitation in recognizing every gesture and response that indicates a lie, especially in interpreting nonverbal behaviors that usually occurs in a short time. In this research, a real time facial expression recognition is proposed to track nonverbal behaviors to help psychologist keep informed about the change of facial expression that indicate a lie. The method tracks eye gaze, wrinkles on the forehead, and false smile using combination of face detection and facial landmark recognition to find the facial features and image processing method to track the nonverbal behaviors in facial features. Every nonverbal behavior is recorded and logged according to the video timeline to assist the psychologist analyze the behavior of the client. The result of tracking nonverbal behaviors of face is accurate and expected to be useful assistant for the psychologists.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model PBM. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus memuat perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MM1 semester II SMK Taman Karya Madya Teknik Kebumen tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 sejumlah 35 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, angket dan tes. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi, angket, dan soal tes yang berupa soal uraian. Teknis analisis data yang dilakukan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ini bahwa: (1) pembelajaran model PBM dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar 63,92%, (kategori cukup pada siklus I) dan persentase aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar 77,774% (kategori tinggi pada siklus II), sehingga aktivitas belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan 13,854%; (2) pembelajaran model PBM dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dari nilai rata-rata pratindakan 70,0571 dengan ketuntasan 37,14% meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 73,8571 dengan ketuntasan 48,57% dan meningkat lagi pada siklus II menjadi 82,914 dengan ketuntasan 82,85%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 9,056 dan ketuntasan belajar mengalami peningkatan sebesar 37,28%. Kata Kunci: pembelajaran model PBM, aktivitas dan hasil belajar.

Abstract

Full-day school is a school process throughout the day or a teaching and learning process that is enforced from morning to evening. Learning quality at school enhances the success of schools in achieving learning goals. This study aims to determine the implementation of the full-day school system to improve the quality of learning at SDIT Gondang. The type of research used is a type of field research using a qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. Interviews were used to dig for in-depth data about the process of learning activities at SDIT Gondang. Observations are used as data reinforcement. Documentation is used as supporting data related to school profiles. The subjects of this study were school principals, vice principals for curriculum, and class teachers. The method of data analysis was carried out using data reduction analysis and concluding. The results showed that the implementation of full-day school to improve the quality of learning at SDIT Gondang was carried out with good educational planning, curriculum innovation, superior programs, habituation of good things, and extracurricular activities. Educational planning is embodied in the form of the school's vision, mission, and goals. The curriculum innovation used is the integration between the curriculum developed by the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Ministry of Religion, and the Foundation. The superior programs carried out are in the form of giving quizzes before class hours; TPQ/BTQ, tahsin, and tahfidz activities; and additional study hours. Furthermore, various extracurricular activities can be used to develop students' talents and interests.
