Abstract

One of the motives of a business doing cash holdings is the precautionary motive. The company tries to accumulate cash as a precautionary measure to cover unanticipated future necessities. We investigate to determine the factors that can affect company cash holdings that are associated with the characteristics of the industrial business cycle in Indonesia. The sample used is companies that meet the criteria (purposive sampling) and are grouped into different industrial characteristics, such as sensitive industry, defensive industry, growth industry, and cyclical industry. This enables to understand the behavior of cash holdings in a different industry. The analysis technique used is the data panel regression analysis. We find that each type of industry has different characteristics in maintaining its cash balance. For defensive industry and growth industry hold more cash than other industry, because they have strong growth opportunities. In addition, we find that inflation, managerial ownership, leverage, dividend policy, investment opportunities, and firm size have an effect on cash holdings while the operating cycle has no effect on cash holdings.JEL Classification: G32, G35, G38DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/jkdp.v23i4.3326

The results publication stage comprises processing, analyzing, and presenting training results data and finalizing the handbook. Findings – The goals of this program are concluded successful in achieving the intended outcomes. The training program for MSMEs demonstrates that knowledge of management control tools is key to their application in business processes. Abstract

The Z generation has high purchasing power and tends to be consumptive. Apart from that z generation also has the characteristic of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) where they feel they have to follow various existing trends including fashion trends, gadgets and so on which of course will empty their pockets. Fulfillment of consumer behavior and the characteristics of FOMO will certainly have an impact on the increasing number of loans or credit applied for by z generation such as the use of pay later. If done continuously and for a long time, the use of pay later will cause the z generation to experience financial difficulties. Thus, this shows the importance of the knowledge and skills that z generation should have regarding financial management using applications that are easy to use and can be applied independently, namely Excel for Financial Planners. This is facilitated by the existence of training activities related to financial management and also the practice of making a financial planner for each student using Excel for Financial Planners. The results of this training are that every student knows the importance of planning and students can create and design personal finances with the help of the Excel for Financial Planners System.

Abstract

Banks require adequate capital to foresee risks in their operating activities. Finding the factors influencing Islamic commercial banks' capital adequacy ratio (CAR) is the aim of this study. The higher the capital owned by the bank, the stronger the bank is in facing risks. One indicator of banking capital can be seen in the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). The dependent variable is capital adequacy as measured by CAR. The independent variables used are FDR, ROE, NPF, BOPO, bank size, and profit-sharing products. This study uses panel data regression analysis to process data collected from bank financial statements. The results of the study indicate that the FDR variable has a positive but insignificant effect on CAR. ROE, NPF, BOPO, and profit-sharing products have a significant negative effect on CAR in Islamic commercial banks. Bank size has a significant positive effect on CAR in Islamic commercial banks. This finding suggests that the bank's size, profit-sharing plans, and financial performance all play a significant role in determining its capital.
