Abstract

This research was conducted on one budget period in 2009 funded by DIKTI young lecturer research project grant. The main research location is Bina Nusantara University. Due to tight research schedule, it was necessary to take some strategic steps to fulfill research goals. One of the strategic steps was to invite several experts in software industry to give advices regarding open source software engineering issues. The first achievement was findings of some open source software that could assist on auditing information systems. Afterwards, comparison from technical and functional aspects resulted in the best software to be tested for implementation and usage, namely ZenossCore. The final output of this research is successful reengineering of the source code for virtual file testing. Keywords: open source software, audit implementation, information system

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify problems and weaknesses in the payroll information system, providing recommendations to reduce the risk of existing problems and produce audit reports for companies. Research method used is through literature study, interviews and observation. Audit method used is the method of auditing around the computer. Analysis was performed by analyzing the findings of problems, risks, and recommendations on the findings of the problem. After doing research, we conclude that there are still some weaknesses in management control and application control. But companies should be more focus on the weaknesses inherent limitations in controlling the application and control the output. Based on these findings, suggested that the company to rectify existing weaknesses and enhance control over payroll information system.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to evaluate sales information system that is ongoing in PT XYZ and to identify problems in sales system and also to recommend a renovation suggestion towards sales application so it goes well, accurate, and high-quality. The research method in this paper is including important data and information collecting, literature study and field research: observation, interview and questionnaire. The result is identified that sales information system controlling in PT XYZ still needs development especially in upgrading system and recruitment in IT division to supervise application system to avoid potential risks that will influence targeting company objective.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to study and introduce fuzzy logic into audit information system. Fuzzy logic is already adopted in other field of study. It helps decision process that incorporates subjective information and transforms it to scientific objective information which is more accepted. This research implements simulation scenario to see how fuzzy logic concept should be used in audit information process. The result shows that there is a possible concept of fuzzy logic that can be used for helping auditor in making objective decision in audit information system process. More researches needed to further explore the fuzzy logic concept such as creating the system of fuzzy logic and build application that can be used for daily information system audit process.

Abstract

The global poultry sector is under pressure to increase efficiency, sustainability, and animal welfare amid growing demand and resource constraints. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a key enabler of digital transformation in poultry farming, yet evidence on practical adoption remains fragmented, especially for smallholder and UMKM contexts. Objective: This study systematically maps AI applications in poultry farming, classifies their functional domains and technological approaches, evaluates reported benefits and limitations, and identifies research gaps related to real-world implementation. Method: A PRISMA 2020-guided Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted on 28 peer-reviewed, open-access, Scopus-indexed journal articles published between 2020 and 2025. Data were extracted on AI techniques, data modalities, application domains, implementation settings, and reported outcomes, then synthesized using thematic analysis. Findings: AI applications concentrate on disease detection and health monitoring, environmental control, behavior and welfare analysis, feed optimization, and productivity forecasting. Deep learning and computer vision dominate image/video-based tasks, while conventional machine learning supports multivariate prediction. Most studies report laboratory or pilot validation rather than full field deployment. Common barriers include high initial costs, limited digital literacy, infrastructure constraints (e.g., connectivity), and scarce localized datasets challenges that are particularly salient in developing-country settings. Implications: Adoption is most feasible through affordable, modular monitoring and decision-support solutions, supported by local dataset development, capacity building, and multi-stakeholder partnerships to translate pilots into sustained deployments. Originality/Value: This review integrates functional classification, technological mapping, and implementation maturity into a unified framework, offering an operational perspective on how AI can be scaled inclusively in poultry farming.
