Abstract

An  experimental  study  of  23  low-,  medium-  and  high-strengthconcrete  columns is presented in this paper. Square-confined concrete columns without  longitudinal  reinforcement  were  designed,  and  tested  under  concentric axial  compression.  The  columns  were  made  of  concrete  with  a  compressive strength ranging between 30 MPa and 70 MPa. The test parameters in the study are  concrete  compressive  strengths  and  confining  steel  properties,  i.e.  spacing, volumetric  ratios  and  configurations.  The  effects  of  these  parameters  on  the strength  and  ductility  of  square-confined  concrete  were  evaluated.  Of  the specimens tested in this study, the columns made with higher-strength concrete produced less strength  enhancement and ductility than those with lower-strength concrete.  The  steel  configurations  were  found  to  have  an  important  role  in governing  the  strength  and  ductility  of  the  confined  high-strength  concrete. Moreover,  several  models  of  strength  enhancement  for  confined  concrete available  in  the  literature  turned  out  to  be  quite  accurate  in  predicting  the experimental results.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify problems and weaknesses in the payroll information system, providing recommendations to reduce the risk of existing problems and produce audit reports for companies. Research method used is through literature study, interviews and observation. Audit method used is the method of auditing around the computer. Analysis was performed by analyzing the findings of problems, risks, and recommendations on the findings of the problem. After doing research, we conclude that there are still some weaknesses in management control and application control. But companies should be more focus on the weaknesses inherent limitations in controlling the application and control the output. Based on these findings, suggested that the company to rectify existing weaknesses and enhance control over payroll information system.

Abstract

Seismic performance of reinforced concrete frame Buildings which have been designed as Special Moment Resisting Frames in accordance to three Indonesian codes (SNI 1727-2013, SNI 1726-2012 and SNI 2847-2013) can be evaluated using nonlinear dynamic analysis. Criteria related to strength such as component plastic rotation capacity, lateral displacement as well as criteria related to damage of elements in the structures were used to evaluate the seismic performance of the buildings. Assessment to the moment and curvature capacities of the cross sections of beams and columns were done using XTRACT. The global seismic performance of the structures depends on the seismic performance of components in the structures. In nonlinear model of the structures, the degrading strength of the components were modeled to take into account the gradual reduction of the contributed components to the resistance of the structures. PERFORM-3D is one of the software that can be used to generate nonlinear model of structures. Seismic performance level of structures can be obtained from the results of the nonlinear dynamic analysis using PERFORM-3D. The Seismic performance level can be utilized for: (1) detecting any weaker part in the structures, and (2) evaluating the improved design of the structures for enhancing the seismic performance of structures.

Abstract

 AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dalam pembelajaran Akuntansi di Sekolah Menengah Atas. Model pengembangan yang diterapkan terdiri atas; 1) tahap analisis kebutuhan, 2) tahap desain produk, 3) tahap produksi, 4) tahap validasi dan evaluasi, 5) tahap revisi, 6) tahap uji coba produk, serta 7) tahap analisis dan revisi akhir. Tahap validasi dilakukan dengan validasi produk yang dilakukan oleh ahli materi akuntansi, ahli media pembelajaran dan praktisi pembelajaran akuntansi yaitu guru akuntansi SMK Katolik Santa Maria Pontianak. Produk yang dikembangkan diuji cobakan pada 34 siswa kelas XI SMK Katolik Santa Maria Pontianak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket dan tes. Angket kelayakan untuk ahli dan praktisi, angket pendapat dan soal tes ditujukan kepada siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbentuk Komik Akuntansi ini sangat layak untuk digunakan. Pada uji coba lapangan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan komik akuntansi, berhasil meningkatkan rata-rata nilai test siswa. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran berbentuk komik ini sangat layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran akuntansi di SMK Katolik Santa Maria Pontianak Kata Kunci: Komik Akuntansi, Media Pembelajaran, Persamaan Dasar Akuntansi.

Abstract

Jalan tol merupakan jalan yang dibangun khusus untuk mempersingkat jarak dan waktu tempuh dari satu tempat ke tempat lainnya dengan lalulintas yang padat. Salah satunya adalah Tol Cipularang telah digunakan sejak tahun 2005 dan dari tahun ke tahun jumlah kendaraan yang melalui Tol Cipularang terus bertambah. Dengan semakin ramainya kendaraan yang melalui Tol ini maka resiko terjadinya kecelakaan akan bertambah juga. Salah satu faktor yang perlu diperhatikan untuk mengurangi terjadinya kecelakaan tersebut adalah bangunan pelengkap jalan yaitu rambu lalu lintas , marka dan median jalan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mendata persepsi pengemudi tentang rambu , marka jalan dan median jalan yang sekaligus sebagai bangunan peredam sialau yang ada di Tol Cipularang. Untuk Rambu dan Marka setelah mendata persepsi pengemudi maka dibandingkan dengan keadaan rambu dan marka jalan yang faktual ada di Tol Cipularang. Untuk Median jalan setelah kita mengetahui persepsi pengemudi terhadap bahan median yang paling aman untuk peredam silau, kenyamanan serta keindahan di jalan tol, maka pengolahan data persepsi pengemudi yang dalam bentuk kuisioner dilakukan dengan program SPSS. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah ketidaktersediaan rambu dan marka jalan tidak mempengaruhi pengemudi untuk mencapai tujuan dengan selamat dan pangemudi cenderung memilih bahan beton sebagai median sekaligus peredam silau.

Abstract

Research on lightweight concrete based on styrofoam aggregates has been carried out previously, namely by providing heat treatment to styrofoam before being used as a substitute for aggregate with fine grains. The Styrofoam used is Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) with a grain size of 5 – 8 mm before being heated. Styrofoam seeds were heated at a temperature of 1380 C for 7 minutes. The variation of the test object in this study was using styrofoam as a substitute for 100% coarse aggregate and 75% coarse aggregate replacement so that the remaining 25% coarse aggregate used gravel with sizes of 10x10 mm and 10x20 mm. To close the pores of the concrete in this variation of the test object, 30 % of the weight of the aggregate was also added with fly ash. To improve the workability, a superplasticizer of 0.6% of the cement weight was used.The tests carried out are compressive strength, split tensile strength and flexural strength. The results obtained were the optimum value of the compressive strength test of 19.57 MPa on lightweight concrete with heavy coarse aggregate replaced by 100% heated styrofoam. For the optimum value of the split tensile strength test, it was found that 2.83 MPa in lightweight concrete, the weight of coarse aggregate was replaced by 75% styrofoam and 25% gravel with a size of 10x20 mm. For the optimum value of the flexural strength test, it was obtained at 3.27 MPa in lightweight concrete, the weight of coarse aggregate was replaced by 75% styrofoam and 25% gravel with a size of 10x10 mm.

Abstract

Based on the result of study of student of Class X.3 SMAN 1 Kinali in sub physics subject Analyzing the influence of calor to a substance, Analyzing Way of heat transfer and Applying Black Principle in solving everyday problem found that result of student study in physics subject still very low. The average student learning outcomes are still under the KKM. The purpose of this study is to describe and obtain information about efforts to improve student learning outcomes in the subjects of Physics through Problem Posing Learning Model in Class X.3 SMAN 1 Kinali. This research is a classroom action research. The research procedures in this research include planning, action, observation and reflection. This study consists of two cycles with four meetings. The subjects consisted of 36 students of Class X.3 SMAN 1 Kinali. The data were collected using observation sheet and daily test. Data were analyzed using percentages. Based on the results of research and discussion that has been raised, it can be concluded that Problem Posing Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes in the subjects of Physics at SMAN 1 Kinali. Student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. Student learning outcomes in cycle I was 57.75 (Enough) increased to 84.75 (good) with an increase of 27%.

Abstract

In recent years a number of areas in the country have experienced earthquakes, resulting in deaths and damage to buildings. Indonesia is located in the Pacific Volcano Rim and is a country with the most active volcanoes in the world, so earthquakes often occur. In this thesis, a comparative analysis of the use of Base Isolators in an 8-storey building and a case study of Semarang Public Works Polytechnic Flats is conducted. The analysis uses ETABS V18 Software. The Vibration Period of the 8-Storey Building without Base Isolator in the X direction is 0.597s and when added Base Isolator becomes 2.099s Reduction of 58% while the Vibration Period of the 25-Storey Building without Base Isolator in the X direction is 2.65s and which has been given a Base Isolator of 2.902s Reduction of 8,7%. In conclusion, the higher the building, the smaller the Reduction Rate or the less useful the use of Base Isolator.

Abstract

Hospital financial planning is basically a process of analysis, policy and projection that aims to help organizations achieve financial success. Budgeting is needed to allocate costs to certain activities that have been planned for a predetermined period of time. In addition, estimation is used as a systematic assessment tool for the success and/or failure of a policy or program in achieving the goals and objectives that have been set because estimation is an activity to track business performance whether it is in accordance with expectations or not. However, the lack of employee understanding of financial planning, budgeting and estimation has an impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of fund management. In addition, the lack of access to accurate financial data is a challenge in decision making. Therefore, training and socialization are very important for financial employees. With increasing literacy in Planning, Budgeting and Estimation, employees of PT. Medikarya Utama are expected to be able to carry out operational efficiency of the company.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman hortikultura sangat dipengaruhi oleh kesuburan tanah. Pada daerah dengan suhu dan curah hujan tinggi seperti Tarakan, umumnya lahan untuk budidaya hortikultura memiliki kesuburan kimia dan biologi tanah yang rendah. Peranan kesuburan tanah dalam mendukung pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman hortikultura merupakan satu kesatuan dari peranan sifat sifat fisik, kimia dan biologi tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji karakteristik fisika tanah pada beberapa lahan budidaya hortikultura sebagai arahan pengelolaan  kesuburan tanah di Tarakan. Merupakan penelitian non eksperimen, menggunakan metode survey dengan objek utama penelitian adalah sifat fisik tanah. Data penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitaif yang diperoleh dideskripsikan berdasarkan kriteria sifat fisika tanah. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa tekstur tanah pada semua lahan budidaya hortikultura di dominasi oleh lempung berpasir, nilai BJ antara 1.50-2.08 g/cm3 BV antara 1.23-1.76 g/cm3, porositas tanah antara 6.20%-18.82%, kelas permeabilitas tanah tergolong lambat dan agak lambat (0,31 dan 1,77 cm/jam).Kata Kunci : Tektur tanah, porositas, permeabilitas, hortikultura
