Abstract

Background: Evidence regarding the association between coffee consumption and periodontal outcomes remains inconsistent, with limited community-based data from low-resource settings. Given the widespread consumption of coffee, clarifying its potential contribution to gingival inflammation is clinically relevant. Objective: This study examined the association between coffee consumption patterns (frequency and duration) and gingival index status among community residents in M Village. Methods: A descriptive correlational with cross-sectional analytical approach was conducted among 312 respondents selected using convenience sampling. Data were obtained using a structured coffee consumption questionnaire and Gingival Index assessment. Associations were tested using Chi-square analysis with α = 0.05. Results: Moderate coffee consumption was dominant (54.2%), with prolonged intake (>20 years) observed in 41.3% of participants. Most respondents presented normal to mild gingival conditions (94.9%). Statistical testing demonstrated a significant association between both frequency and duration of coffee consumption and gingival status (p < 0.001). Notably, higher coffee exposure patterns were proportionally aligned with increased gingival inflammation severity. Conclusion: The findings suggest that prolonged and frequent coffee consumption is significantly associated with adverse gingival outcomes, although causal inference remains limited due to study design and uncontrolled confounding. Integrating oral health risk education into primary care services may be warranted.

Abstract

Abstract: This study explored nursing students’ perceptions of using ChatGPT in learning English for Nursing Purposes at Universitas Klabat. As English proficiency is essential for understanding medical terminology, academic nursing literature, clinical documentation, and patient communication, nursing students need language support that is relevant to their professional field. This study employed a qualitative research design using a phenomenological approach to understand students’ lived experiences with ChatGPT as an AI-assisted learning tool. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with nursing students who had experience using ChatGPT for English learning activities. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis following Braun and Clarke’s six-step framework. The findings revealed four major themes from 8 informants interview. First, students experienced ChatGPT as an accessible learning companion that supported their understanding of nursing vocabulary, medical terminology, English articles, grammar, academic writing, and patient communication. Second, ChatGPT provided efficiency and empowerment by helping students access information quickly, complete academic tasks more easily, and increase their confidence in using English. Third, students recognized limitations and risks, including inaccurate responses, inappropriate translations, fabricated references, technical constraints, and possible dependence on AI. Fourth, students developed a more critical and responsible approach by verifying AI-generated information, using trusted references, improving prompt quality, and avoiding direct copy-paste practices. Overall, the study concludes that ChatGPT can be a useful supplementary tool for learning English in nursing education when used critically, ethically, and in combination with reliable academic sources. Keywords: ChatGPT, English for Nursing Purposes, nursing students, artificial intelligence, phenomenology, English language learning Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi mahasiswa keperawatan terhadap penggunaan ChatGPT dalam pembelajaran English for Nursing Purposes di Universitas Klabat. Abstract

Abstract: Nurse entrepreneurship has long been discussed as a response to healthcare service gaps, professional autonomy, and new forms of care delivery. However, the evidence remains fragmented across practice reports, historical accounts, qualitative studies, and educational reviews, while market-facing and business-development capabilities are rarely synthesized as an integrated construct. This review maps the development of Scopus-indexed nurse entrepreneurship research and synthesizes the marketing and business development capabilities associated with venture creation, legitimacy, commercialization, and sustainability. A Scopus-based systematic literature review was reported using PRISMA 2020 and informed by SPAR-4-SLR. Inclusion criteria were English language, nursing context, and article document type. Twenty-two articles published from 1985 to 2025 were included in bibliometric analysis; 17 records with usable abstracts supported thematic coding. Keyword co-occurrence was examined using full counting and a minimum occurrence threshold of two. Six empirical or review reports were provisionally appraised using design-appropriate JBI tools. The corpus received 116 Scopus citations and was distributed across 18 sources. Healthcare marketing (18 occurrences; total link strength [TLS] = 103), nursing services (15; TLS = 80), entrepreneurship (14; TLS = 77), professional practice (13; TLS = 69), and financial management (12; TLS = 61) formed the conceptual core. Network analysis produced two broad clusters: a market-operational cluster and an entrepreneurial-professional-development cluster. Overlay visualization indicated a transition from private practice, financial management, and service promotion toward leadership, professional competence, communication, and sustainable value. Five capability domains were synthesized: market sensing and opportunity recognition; marketing communication, positioning, and trust; business planning and financial management; networking, partnerships, and referrals; and service innovation and commercialization. Nurse entrepreneurship research recognizes many practical business activities but has not yet developed a cumulative, theory-driven capability model. Future research should measure capability configurations and link them to patient trust, service adoption, financial viability, growth, and social value. Keywords: business development; entrepreneurial nursing; nurse entrepreneurship; marketing capabilities   Abstrak: Kewirausahaan perawat telah lama dibahas sebagai respons terhadap kesenjangan layanan kesehatan, otonomi profesional, dan bentuk-bentuk baru pemberian layanan kesehatan. Pemasaran layanan kesehatan (18 kemunculan; total kekuatan tautan [TLS] = 103), layanan keperawatan (15; TLS = 80), kewirausahaan (14; TLS = 77), praktik profesional (13; TLS = 69), dan manajemen keuangan (12; TLS = 61) membentuk inti konseptual. Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce and fintech lending services has transformed consumer behavior globally. Online loan systems, particularly Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) and digital credit facilities integrated into e-commerce platforms, provide immediate purchasing power and financial accessibility. The rapid expansion of fintech lending systems, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services, and digital shopping platforms has transformed consumer purchasing behavior globally. While online loans provide convenience and short-term financial flexibility, excessive borrowing behavior has increasingly been associated with psychological distress, compulsive shopping, financial stress, anxiety, depression, and psychosocial dysfunction. This study aims to examine the relationship between e-commerce online loan usage and mental health outcomes, specifically investigating whether online borrowing behaviors function as a form of retail therapy or contribute to financial stress among young adults. This systematic literature review (SLR) examines the relationship between online loans, e-commerce behavior, and mental health outcomes. Using PRISMA 2020 guidelines, this review synthesized evidence from Scopus, ScienceDirect, PubMed, Google Scholar, and SpringerLink. The findings of 17 eligible articles demonstrate that impulsive buying behavior, social media influence, consumerism, emotional purchasing motivations, and low financial literacy significantly contribute to problematic online borrowing behavior. Furthermore, financial stress, debt burden, social stigma, and aggressive debt collection practices negatively affect mental health and psychosocial well-being. Protective factors such as financial literacy, emotional regulation, self-control, social support, and responsible borrowing behavior were identified as important moderators of psychological outcomes. This review highlights the need for integrated financial literacy programs, mental health interventions, and stronger fintech regulations to reduce the harmful effects of online loan dependency. Although online loans may offer temporary emotional satisfaction, long-term dependency on digital borrowing is more strongly associated with adverse mental health consequences. Strengthening financial literacy, responsible lending regulations, and psychological support systems is necessary to reduce the harmful psychosocial impact of e-commerce online loans.

Abstract

Nurse burnout remains a critical issue in healthcare systems worldwide, particularly after the COVID-19 pandemic. Previous studies shows that burnout negatively affects nurses’ psychological well-being, organizational commitment, patient safety, and healthcare quality. Simultaneously, healthcare organizations are increasingly implementing internal marketing and digital workplace systems to improve employee experience and organizational performance. However, the integration of internal marketing and digital employee experience in reducing nurse burnout has not been comprehensively synthesized. Objective: This study aimed to systematically review evidence regarding the influence of internal marketing and digital employee experience on reducing nurse burnout. Methods: This review followed the PRISMA 2020 guideline developed by Matthew J. Page and colleagues. Literature searches were conducted using PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar databases from 2015–2026. Search terms included “internal marketing,” “digital employee experience,” “nurse burnout,” “organizational commitment,” and “nursing informatics.” Inclusion criteria included English-language studies involving nurses and organizational interventions related to internal marketing or digital workplace experience. Results: 27 articles were eligible and examined, and three main themes such as internal marketing, digital employee experience and major outcomes were identified. Internal marketing strategies such as leadership support, communication, empowerment, reward systems, and organizational culture consistently reduced burnout and improved organizational commitment among nurses. Digital employee experience, including digital communication systems and nursing informatics competency, positively influenced engagement and work satisfaction. However, excessive digital workload and technostress contributed to emotional exhaustion and burnout. Conclusion: Internal marketing and supportive digital employee experience are effective organizational approaches to reducing nurse burnout. Healthcare institutions should integrate employee-centered management and digital transformation strategies to improve nurse well-being and healthcare sustainability.
