Abstract

As travel opportunities have increased, the air transport sector has expanded considerably in recent decades. Many techniques and operations management applications are utilized in the air transportation industry. These include demand forecasting, which predicts future passenger numbers and helps with planning capacity and resources. This research aims to forecast the number of domestic airplane passenger arrivals using the ARIMA model with Minitab 22 and explore the implications on the decision-making of operational management strategies in aviation industries in Indonesia. The data was collected from the Central Bureau of Statistics (Badan Pusat Statistik-BPS) database on airline domestic passenger arrivals in Indonesia. The results show that the best ARIMA model is 1,0,1. The forecasting results show the upper and lower numbers of passengers for five years. The significant increase in air passengers necessitates that airlines focus on fleet capacity, flight availability, and service quality improvements while maintaining competitive ticket prices to maintain passenger numbers. Implementing effective forecasting and dynamic pricing strategies can optimize operational efficiency and ensure sustainable growth in the aviation industry.

Abstract

In the digital era, entrepreneurs have begun to leverage ICT and its social capital to overcome obstacles and grow their firms. The idea that digital technology can help address the issues faced by sustainable businesses has gained traction in recent studies. To develop research related to entrepreneurship in the digital era and the potential for new research on this topic. This research used descriptive analysis methods for journal articles indexed in Scopus and Google Scholar. This study investigates the literature using bibliometric analysis methods in five stages: data collection, keyword selection, matrix calculation, result visualization, and data interpretation and visualization results. According to the bibliometric analysis, there were 11 clusters, 161 items, and 447 links with a link strength of 500. Furthermore, according to Scopus and Google Scholar data, most studies on entrepreneurship in the digital era are related to the business environment, pandemics, digital entrepreneurs, digital entrepreneurship ecosystems, digital media, existence, financial literacy, and financial technology. In conclusion, during 2018-2023, there is an increasing trend in digital-era research subjects. Bibliometric analysis, though comprehensive in identifying clusters and connections, may not capture the qualitative nuances and deeper insights within individual studies. This study contributes significantly by mapping the evolving digital entrepreneurship research from to 2018-2023. Through a comprehensive bibliometric analysis, it identifies key research clusters and trends, providing valuable insights for academics, policymakers, and practitioners. The findings illuminate the interconnections between the business environment, pandemic impacts, and technological advancements in digital entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance BPS Papua staff's awareness of global macroeconomic dynamics, specifically US-China trade war and safe haven phenomena impacts on regional economy. The program utilized survey method by virtual socialization using Zoom Workplace as platform on April 25, 2025, involving 96 participants from BPS Papua region including structural officials, heads of regencies/cities, functional statistical staff, and KPPN Merauke representatives in a 3-hour session consisting a 2-hour interactive presentation and a 1-hour open discussion. Evaluation was conducted through direct interviews and participation analysis. Results showed excellent engagement with 97% attendance rate, 23 questions during presentations, and 65 discussion contributions, indicating strong material relevance. Post-event interviews with 93 participants revealed 92% found the material highly beneficial for understanding global economic dynamics, with 89% confident in applying knowledge to routine data analysis. This initiative successfully demonstrated virtual learning effectiveness for capacity building in geographically challenging regions while establishing sustainable collaboration between Universitas Musamus and BPS Papua.

Abstract

Purpose: To develop and validate a financial literacy storybook for Junior High School students using the 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) method. Research Methodology: This study employs a development research approach, specifically utilizing the 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) method to create and validate a financial literacy storybook for Junior High School students. Results: High feasibility scores from both material (72 points) and media (77 points) experts validated the storybook's content accuracy, relevance, and overall design quality. These results suggest that the approach of using digital storytelling, specifically through Storyjumper, can effectively bridge the gap between abstract financial concepts and relatable age-appropriate narratives for adolescents. Conclusions: The validated storybook enhances students’ financial literacy by combining pedagogical accuracy with engaging design, and digital storytelling innovatively boosts understanding and interest in financial education. Limitations: First, the validation process relied primarily on expert opinions, which, although valuable, may not fully capture the perspectives of the target audience, Junior High School students. The study did not include a pilot test with actual students, which could provide insights into the storybook's real-world effectiveness and engagement levels. Additionally, the research is limited to a specific geographical and cultural context, potentially affecting the generalizability of the findings to other regions or educational systems. Contribution: This research contributes a validated financial literacy storybook for Junior High School students, advancing educational tools in this crucial field and demonstrating the 4D method's effectiveness in educational material development.
