Abstract

Abstrak Minat masyarakat Kebumen terhadap olahraga, khususnya sepak bola, bulu tangkis, dan voli, terus meningkat. Namun, kondisi fasilitas olahraga seperti Stadion Chandradimuka masih belum memenuhi standar nasional. Permasalahan yang ada meliputi kualitas lapangan yang tidak sesuai standar FIFA, drainase buruk, kapasitas tribun terbatas, dan minimnya fasilitas pendukung. Penelitian ini merancang ulang Gelanggang Olahraga (GOR) di Kebumen agar memenuhi standar Kemenpora 2014, menggunakan pendekatan arsitektur biomorfik yang menekankan keselarasan bangunan dengan lingkungan. Metode perancangan menggabungkan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif melalui studi literatur, observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, analisis tapak, serta perhitungan kebutuhan ruang. Hasil perancangan menampilkan tata massa organik terinspirasi aliran Sungai Luk Ulo, tribun reguler, VIP, dan VVIP, fasilitas ramah disabilitas, area atlet, ruang pengelola, parkir, dan zona komersial. Penerapan prinsip biomorfik meningkatkan estetika, kenyamanan, efisiensi energi, dan keberlanjutan, sekaligus memperkuat identitas GOR Kebumen sebagai pusat olahraga modern yang harmonis dengan alam. Kata kunci: Redesain, Gelanggang Olahraga, Arsitektur Biomorfik, Kebumen. Abstract Public interest in sports in Kebumen, particularly football, badminton, and volleyball, continues to increase. However, the condition of sports facilities such as Chandradimuka Stadium still does not meet national standards. Problems include a pitch that does not meet FIFA standards, poor drainage, limited spectator capacity, and a lack of supporting facilities. This study redesigns the Sports Arena (GOR) in Kebumen to meet the 2014 standards of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora), using a biomorphic architectural approach that emphasizes harmony between the building and the environment. The design method combines qualitative and quantitative approaches through literature studies, observations, interviews, documentation, site analysis, and calculation of space requirements. The design results present an organic massing inspired by the flow of the Luk Ulo River, regular stands, VIP and VVIP stands, disability-friendly facilities, athlete areas, management rooms, parking areas, and commercial zones. The application of biomorphic principles improves aesthetics, comfort, energy efficiency, and sustainability, while strengthening the identity of the Kebumen Sports Arena as a modern sports center that is in harmony with nature.
