Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mendeskripsikan penggunaan metode kerja kelompok dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas IV SDN 05 Pemahan Kab. Ketapang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Hasil penelitian pada siklus I dan siklus II menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil belajar siswa kelas IV dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) tes akhir siklus I dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 74 dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 89. Dengan ketuntasan belajar 70% pada siklus I dan 94% pada siklus II.   Kata Kunci: Metode Kerja Kelompok, Pembelajaran IPA Abstract: The research was aimed to describe the application of group discussion method in science learning to improve the fourth grade students’ achievement of SDN 05 Pemahan Kabupaten Ketapang. The research method used was descriptive method with the research design of classroom action research (CAR). The result of the research in the first cycle and the second cycle showed the improvement of students’ achievement. This was proved from the fourth students’ achievement in science learning which the mean score of the final test in the first cycle was 74 and improved on the second cycle became 89, with the learning completeness of 70% on the first cycle and 94% on the second cycle.   Keyword: Group Discussion Method, Science Learning
