Abstract

Paham  radikalisme merupakan  akar  dari ketidakrukunan antar umat beragama.  Anak-anak  dan remaja adalah generasi penerus  yang  harus dilindungi   dari  radikalisme,   sehingga perlu penanganan yang tepat. Pendidikan multikultural sangat diperlukan dalam membentuk generasi saling menghormati dalam setiap perbedaan. Keadaan psikologis anak-anak dan remaja harus tetap  dipertahankan dalam pendidikan multikultural. Dalam pembentukan  komunitas lintas agama, dunia bermain untuk anak- anak dan suasana santai untuk remaja harus tetap dipertahankan. Kata Kunci: Bimbingan  Konseling, Pendidikan Multikultural, Radikalisme Radicalism   is  at the  root of inter-religious disharmony. Children and adolescents are the next generation who must be protected from radicalism,  so it needs proper handling.  Multicultural  education  is indispensable in shaping the generation of mutual  respect in every differences. The condition of children’s psychologycal and adolescents should be maintained in multicultural education. In forming interfaith community, the world play for the kids and a relaxed atmosphere for young people must be maintained. Keywords: Counseling , Multicultural  Education, Radicalism

Abstract

The masjid function is not only as a ritual worship place (mahdhah), but also extensive social worship (ghair mahdhah) in the fields of economic, education, social culture and others. In this study aims to determine the magnitude of the masjid management value and people empowerment in Surabaya city, and to find out the relationship between them. The method used is pure quantitative, by spreading form against 100 respondents in five sub-districts in Surabaya City which are randomly selected. The conclusion of this study is the masjid management level in the city of Surabaya is 76.46 which is categorized as Very Good, while the level of people empowerment in Surabaya city is 78.95 which is categorized as Very Good. The relationship between them is the influence between the masjid management and the people empowerment in Surabaya city, which is 65.1%. This figure is quite significant, meaning that as much as 65.1% empowerment of the people can be explained by the masjid management, while the remaining 34.9% must be explained by other factors. The magnitude of the influence ranges from 0 to 1, where getting closer to number 1 will mean better. Fungsi masjid tidak hanya sebagai tempat ibadah ritual (mahdhah) saja, tetapi juga ibadah sosial yang luas (ghair mahdhah) dibidang ekonomi, pendidikan, sosial budaya dan lainnya. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya tinglat nilai pengelolaan masjid dan pemberdayaan umat di Kota Surabaya, serta untuk mengetahui hubungan keduanya. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif murni, dengan menyebarkan angket terhadap 100 responden (jamaah) di lima kecamatan di Kota Surabaya yang dipilih secara acak. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tingkat nilai pengelolaan masjid di Kota Surabaya sebesar 76,46 yang masuk kategori sangat baik, sedangkan tingkat nilai pemberdayaan umat di Kota Surabaya sebesar 78,95 yang masuk kategori sangat baik. Hubungan keduanya ada pengaruh antara pengelolaan masjid terhadap pemberdayaan umat di Kota Surabaya, yaitu sebesar 65,1%. Angka ini cukup signifikan, artinya bahwa sebesar 65,1% pemberdayaan umat dapat dijelaskan oleh pengelolaan masjid, sedang sisanya sebesar 34,9% harus dijelaskan oleh faktor yang lain. Besaran pengaruh berkisar antara 0 sampai dengan 1, dimana semakin mendekati angka 1 akan berarti semakin baik

Abstract

As social creatures, humans naturally cannot live without the help of others. Based on those dynamically social interactions, religious organizations --a form of a social group based on equality in both activities and professions-- are formed. At the end of the 19th century, the birth of several Islamic organizations was the answer to the Dutch colonialism situation, including the Mathla'ul Anwar. The existence of Mathla'ul Anwar in Central Java Province is still not well known generally, even though it has been established since 1916. This paper would like to raise an issue qualitatively related to tracing the existence and its service to the community in Central Java. Regional management informed some areas that could be traced for the presence of the organization: Salatiga City, Brebes, Banjarnegara, Purbalingga, and Temanggung Regency. The results obtained in this study are, historically, Mathla'ul Anwar was a reorganization of existing management and new management. The community services are mostly in education, where several established foundations were then joining the organization, becoming the power of movement (da'wa) as much support from professionals. The obstacles that existed in running the organization are the limited funding sources and the lack of sustainability and equal guidance for the administrators.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is carried out at SMA Kristen Palangkaraya and Muhammadiyah 1 Palangkaraya. The research aims at finding out implementation of religious education curriculum that has been applied for the school under religious foundation and its influence against religious behavior of the student which is seen from the aspect of religiosity, honesty, tolerance, reconciliation, social awareness and ideal form in the implementation. Method applied in this research is combination between quantitative and qualitative approach using focus group discussion (FGD). The influence of relation of r2 (determination coefficient) is around 0.343. It means that a religious behavior of the student is 34,3% that can be explained by the religious education implementation and remaining 65.7% should be explained by other factors. The FGD is to find out an idea in building the student character in the expectation of building religious spiritual (religious aspect) and social piety (aspects of honesty, tolerance, love peace and social preservation). AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Kristen Palangkaraya dan Muhammadiyah 1 Palangkaraya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan kurikulum pendidikan agama yang telah diterapkan untuk sekolah di bawah yayasan keagamaan, dan pengaruhnya pada perilaku keagamaan peserta didik dilihat dari aspek religiusitas, kejujuran, toleransi, perdamaian, kesadaran sosial, dan bentuk yang ideal dalam pelaksanaannya. Metode yang dipakai pada penelitian ini adalah kombinasi antara pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif yang menggunakan focus group discussion (FGD). Besarnya pengaruh hubungan dari r2 (koefisien determinasi) adalah sekitar 0.343. Artinya, perilaku keagamaan siswa sebesar 34,3% dapat dijelaskan oleh pelaksanaan pendidikan agama, dan sekitar 65,7% yang tersisa harus dijelaskan oleh faktor lain. Melalui FGD untuk menemukan ide dalam membangun karakter siswa dengan harapan membangun spiritual keagamaan (aspek religius) dan kesalehan sosial (aspek kejujuran, aspek toleransi, aspek cinta damai, dan aspek perawatan sosial).
