Abstract

Height measuring device is a tool used to measure a person's height. The commonly used height scale is the manual type which reads the measured height. Manual measurement in today's modern era is very ineffective when used on a large scale, especially in this era where there are so many digital tools. The specialty of this automatic height measuring device is that it can easily measure the height of many people. The operating system of this tool is to measure height automatically, so that measurement data can be stored automatically in the database. Compared to analog measuring devices that only measure one object and cannot store measurement data. In this study the authors made an automatic height measuring tool different from the usual. The author developed a previous automatic height measuring device using two ultrasonic sensors. The first ultrasonic sensor is used as a height meter and the second ultrasonic sensor is installed at the bottom to detect the legs to avoid cheating and also adds a measuring mat above the head so that the height measurement is really accurate. Abstract

Various kinds of technology have sprung up so that humans can use it in everyday life. Automation systems have become a very important need in the industrial world to improve quality and quantity in production. By designing tools with automation systems, for example, in metal and non-metal goods sorters. Broadly speaking, the company wants maximum production results so that it can satisfy their consumers, so this automation system is needed to make the desired special specifications. Simulation of a metal and non-metal goods sorter using proximity inductive sensors that move goods from the initial place to the intended place using a conveyor, with a drive system to move goods to storage using pneumatic transport to raise or lift goods, is the function of the tool to move goods based on metal and non-metal materials.

Abstract

Peningkatan debit air sungai yang menyebabkan banjir adalah masalah signifikan yang dihadapi oleh warga Tanah Abang, Kabupaten Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir. Untuk meminimalisir kerugian akibat banjir, diperlukan sistem peringatan dini yang efektif. Penelitian ini menguraikan perancangan dan implementasi sistem deteksi banjir berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) menggunakan sensor ultrasonik JSN-SR04T. Sistem ini memungkinkan pemantauan ketinggian air secara real-time dan memberikan peringatan melalui email dan notifikasi aplikasi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa alat mampu mendeteksi ketinggian air dengan akurasi tinggi dalam rentang 25 cm hingga 450 cm. Sistem berhasil memberikan notifikasi peringatan dini melalui aplikasi Blynk sesuai dengan tiga tingkat siaga: Siaga 1 (120-100 cm), Siaga 2 (100-80 cm), dan Siaga 3 (<80 cm). Dengan demikian, alat ini efektif dalam memberikan informasi dan meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat terhadap potensi banjir sehingga warga dapat mengambil tindakan preventif lebih awal, seperti evakuasi atau perlindungan harta benda. Selain itu, sistem ini memfasilitasi pemerintah dalam pengawasan dan pengumpulan data lingkungan untuk analisis lebih lanjut, perencanaan kota, dan studi perubahan iklim. Metode yang digunakan dalam laporan ini meliputi studi literatur, wawancara, dan observasi untuk mengembangkan sistem deteksi yang efisien dan dapat diandalkan.
