Abstract

One of the risky sexual behaviors is the number of sexual partnersindividuals have. The higher number they have is the riskier for them to get infected by HIV/AIDS. The tendency to commit risky sexual behavior is higherin single person and itsaid that mean committing itrisky are more permissive than women. There have been researches studying the contribution of self-esteem to the number of sexual partners. Sexting is also assumed to have a correlation with the numberof sexual partners. The aimof this study was to measure the contribution of self-esteem and sexting to the numberof sexual partners a single heterosexual man withrisky sexual behaviors have. This study involved 83 participants. The result showed that the contribution of self-esteem to the number of sexual partners was 13.8% and sexting was 9.8%while the combination of self-esteem and sexting to the number of sexual partners was13.2%. The other findings indicated that the number of sexual partners varied in the participants based on educational background, while the self-esteem and sexting varied in them based on sexual orientation

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the influence of interpersonal trust and perceived interpersonal closeness on romantic relationship satisfaction in individuals undergoing online dating through one or more applications such as Tinder, Coffee Meets Bagel, as well as social networking applications like Facebook. The sampling technique used is the snowball sampling method with a sample size of 50 adult individuals above 18 years old, consisting of 38 women and 12 men, who had been in an online romantic relationship for at least 1 month. Data analysis uses multiple regression techniques. The research results show that there is an influence of interpersonal trust and perceived interpersonal closeness separately and together on romantic relationship satisfaction in individuals who experience online dating. Analysis of the data together shows an F value coefficient of 26.386 with a significance of 0.001 (ρ ≤ 0.05) and an R square of 0.658. This means that there is a very significant influence between interpersonal trust and perceived interpersonal closeness together on romantic relationship satisfaction in individuals undergoing online dating with a relative contribution of 65.8% while the remaining 34.2% is influenced by other factors not included in this research. The considerable contribution of interpersonal trust and perceived interpersonal closeness occurs because they collectively form the basis of intimacy and effective communication, as well as increasing feelings of emotional connection in the digital realm, thus increasing satisfaction in online dating.

Abstract

PNS di Kementerian seringkali mengalami permasalahan ketika diharuskan untuk pindah kerja atau mutasi ke luar daerah, begitu pula pada PNS di Direktorat Jenderal Pajak. Masalah yang timbul misalnya jauh dari keluarga, berkurangnya penghasilan atau masalah domestik lainnya. Salah satu hal yang membuat PNS dapat terus bertahan di organisasinya walaupun harus mengalami mutasi adalah komitmen kontinuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja dan masa kerja terhadap komitmen kontinuan pada PNS Direktorat Jenderal Pajak. Penelitian ini berjenis kuantitaif dan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah snowball sampling. Total keseluruhan responden sebanyak 56 orang yang bekerja sebagai PNS Direktorat Jenderal Pajak. Untuk mengukur komitmen kontinuan peneliti menggunakan continuance commitment scale dan untuk mengukur kepuasan kerja, peneliti menggunakan Job Descriptive Index (JDI). Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diketahui bahwa terdapat pengaruh siginifikan antara kepuasan kerja dengan komitmen kontinuan pada PNS di lingkungan Direktorat Jenderal Pajak dengan nilai  signifikansi sebesar 0.000 dimana kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh 47.4%. Sementara uji anacova menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.233 (p>0.05) yang mengindikasikan bahwa masa kerja tidak berfungsi sebagai variabel kontrol.
